We were very satisfied with our stay. The place was very clean and felt very welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in visiting the area.

Our third stay at the Abbott House. The home and property are so peaceful, comfortable, and convenient. Jane is amazing to work with and gives great details and tips to make the stay enjoyable. We love the shared space - the kitchen/dining/living are large and just great space to hang out. Plenty of cookware and silverware to whip up snacks or even a full meal. The covered grill area is super handy when the rain comes before the steaks are done (wish I had that setup at home). WiFi is strong for streaming and/or catching up on work. The beds are SUPER comfortable, plenty of towels, and really, this property is just so peaceful day or night. Highly recommend, especially for families with teens!

Absolutely incredible stay! Perfect location. Responsive, helpful, and proactive hosts. They literally thought of every little detail and thing to make my stay extra special. Even included banana bread & dry firewood. Would definitely stay again. It was the perfect retreat for me and my dog!

I hate to say this because I kind of want to keep this gem to ourselves…but the cabin and location were awesome! Spotlessly clean, just the right space for two people, everything there we needed, beautiful surroundings, and lovely peace and quiet. We’re planning to be back soon!
