The stay was wonderful! The villa was amazing, the views, the furniture, the rooms and the pool. We were so happy to be there. The rooms were new and clean. Every detail was taken care of. Christina was incredibly helpful and always available. Without her, we'd be lost. Unfortunately, we often had private problems and every time she helped us and brought us solutions. For me and my friends, this stay was unforgettable!

Truly an amazing stay and experience! Sarah's home lives up to every fantasy you have ever had about staying in an old world villa high on a hill over looking a charming Italian village on the Ligurian coast (with ALL the modern amenities to keep you comfortable and make you never want to leave). Sarah is by far the absolute best host we have had. For an extra fee she arranged an amazing dinner buffet for us the night we arrived (making sure to add some goodies for the kids) and surprised us by stocking the fridge with everything we'd need for breakfast the next morning! She even offered to drive our crew to the train station the day we left after we had some trouble booking a reliable taxi service (this was a true godsend since the walk would have been extremely challenging with 4 small children and all the luggage - we loved the walking paths for our daily exploring - just not with luggage!). We cannot recommend Sarah's villa highly enough! True amazing!

Absolutely perfect stay! The house is impeccable, very well-equipped and in a good location. Leonardo is very responsive and attentive and we had a memorable stay with friends. The house is spacious, very well maintained, well-equipped and very charming. We felt right at home and the terrace and garden are very private and friendly. We loved it and highly recommend it, everything was perfect!

We had a lovely time at Giorgia place! The views were stunning and tranquil just what we all needed! The terraces were sunny at different times of the day . We had great fun using the Pizza Oven. Also the table tennis table was used a lot. We definitely needed a car and going some lovely Villages about 30 mins away Barga and on the back to Pisa Airport stopped off at Pietrasanta celebrating Art lovely shops and quirky shops etc . The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and loved the Lavattza coffee machine ! Would definitely recommend !

House, location: right by the sea, fantastic views, spectacular sunsets, large house with special architecture offers plenty of space and privacy, ideal for a large family. Various garden terrace areas. Everything very well maintained and well equipped. Camilla is a very warm and competent host. We will be happy to come back!

We (7 friends) enjoyed staying at the villa very much! The house, especially the front yard and pool, are wonderful. Maria is great! She sent us a lot of tips about the area (including the necessary things, such as shopping). In addition, we were surprised with a very fine cake and if you needed something, an answer came very quickly. The villa is well equipped and the surroundings are beautiful. There is plenty of parking space. Only the potholes and the access to the villa are a bit challenging - but doable!

Beautiful house in the vines surrounded by sumptuous hillsides in an incredible postcard setting. Perfect for gatherings for families or with friends. The location is ideal to radiate between Siena, Florence and Chianti or resting while enjoying the pool. Elisa, always attentive, is very responsive and will respond almost without delay.

I don’t even know where to begin describing this place. It was the most amazing place I have ever stayed. If you are looking for a peaceful and private villa with incredible views, then stop looking. This is it !! All of the reviews we read before we arrived talked about how amazing the views are and that you must take up the offer if Paola and Alessandro offer to cook a meal for you. Both recommendations are spot on. The sliced beef was one of the best meals I have ever had, and I often found myself wandering around outside the villa looking at the 360 degree views in all directions. We all felt so sad to leave this magic place. Paola and Alessandro were perfect hosts. Always friendly and with a smile on their faces. It’s a long way from Australia but I really hope we get an opportunity one day to return to this majestic place.

Everything in the villa is new, immaculate, and thoughtfully arranged. The outdoor spaces are exceptional, featuring a ground-level dining area and a rooftop patio with lounge chairs and breathtaking views. The location is convenient and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and pharmacies. It is a five-minute drive to the stunning beach and promenade of Lido di Camaiore. We went on day trips for sightseeing to Pietrasanta, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Carrara, and San Gimignano, where we enjoyed wine tasting and a cooking class in the beautiful Tuscan hills. Massimo is a five-star PLUS superhost. He was passionate about providing recommendations for dining and day trips, which made our visit truly exceptional. I highly recommend staying here, and I can't wait to stay again on my next trip to Tuscany.

Casa Gello is a fantastic holiday home. It is beautifully situated in the hills overlooking the surrounding valleys, with a great view of San Gimignano. Walks or just chilling; everything is possible. Certaldo & Castelfiorentino with shopping options and supermarkets is not far; There are numerous restaurants - from pizza to traditional Tuscan dishes. Excursions to the surrounding cities, for example Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, Volterra, Pisa etc. are no problem by car or using the local train station in Certaldo with easy parking facilities. The landlord Monica is very nice and gave me plenty of information beforehand and during the stay. The house is a clear recommendation if you like to experience the true Tuscan holiday feeling.

The villa’s location is idyllic - peaceful and surrounded by the mountains of the ‘Pescian Switzerland’. It is pretty remote and difficult to access though, so you do need to be a confident driver to enjoy a stay here ;-) There are plenty of lovely spots to relax in the garden and around the pool so I would particularly recommend the villa in good weather. Inside, the common areas (kitchen and lounge) can get a little cramped if there are 10 or 12 of you and it’s raining outside - but we chose to brave the bad weather and explore the surrounding villages and towns anyway so that wasn’t an issue for us. It is worth pointing out that being a country house, there are bugs - which might put some people off (not us though!). The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and the bedding super comfortable with warm & cosy down duvets (which were very welcome given the cold & wet weather we had!). And last but not least - Fausto (Giulio’s dad) was friendly and super helpful, a really lovely host.
