Very clean and recently refurbished. Nice furniture and quiet, considering how close it is to a main road. Very comfortable stay.

When all the planets align, and the stars meet, great things can happen. !! Everything aligned for us at Fiona's holiday Batch, and we had a wonderful stay. So many things to recommend, the bubbly effervescent host, the gorgeous beachside location, the comfy accommodation, the special treats provided, or was it Nicky and Marley, ? who welcomed us with a bark and a purr, and who were never far away throughout our stay. What ever it was, it worked a treat, we immediately felt at home, Fiona has created something very special, a unique combination of great hosting skills, honest down to earth lodgings, with lots of extras thrown in, and her pair of gorgeous fur babies, who melted our hearts.We would be back in a heartbeat. That's a huge "Yes" from us.

Great location, handy to town. Well equipped property.

We absolutely loved this property! The photos really don’t do it justice, it’s beautiful, and with such amazing views. We had more than enough room for our family of 7 (2 parents and 5 kids) and private parking on site. The beds were extremely comfortable, the super soft carpet was a nice surprise, and the location was great with a quick drive down to Taupo center. Despite the warm weather we didn’t need to use the AC because the air flowed so nicely through the rooms with the sliding windows open. Silas was responsive and kind. We would have stayed longer if it wasn’t booked solid!

Place is located quite central to city. Beautiful place, highly recommended. spacious place can accommodate big group.

Great location - easy walk to shops and cafes. It was great to have a fully fenced dog friendly space so we could bring our elderly dog with us. The Botanical Gardens is a fantastic place for shaded walks.

Stayed for a couple of days with 3 generations of family. Really good bedrooms to enable everyone to be separate and comfortable. Spacious living areas indoor and out Highly recommend this - and so close to lovely walks along the lake

Thanks for the stay at your himitangi beach house. We enjoyed a great weekend there with extended family. it was perfect for different family sleeping arrangements. A bit strange with 2 kitchens, but it worked out well and we had a wonderful time spent together. Thank you for opening your home to us.

I highly recommend staying here. It’s a peaceful and clean place that has everything you need. The hosts are available if you need assistance, but you hardly notice they are around. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Thank you so much!

Communication with Troy was excellent. Comfortable couches and had everything we needed. Lovely fenced back yard. Would stay again.
