6x professionals stayed for a long weekend. We had more than ample space to move around and not be in everyones space. Viv's place was a stand out for us. Tracy, the local person to help out with immediate needs, was also helpful when we needed a few extra dishwash tablets and teatowels. Lovely welcome pack. Definitely recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic stay - this house way exceeded expectations. We stayed as a large family group with a mix of ages and the property was safe and comfortable for everyone. Excellent layout and everything you need. Just like home away from home. Barry was an amazing host who communicated well and very quick response time. Thank you so much for a great stay! Great spot for a weekend away with my partner. Plenty of outdoor activities in Ohakune and it's a bonus to soak in the hot tub afterwards. We made use of the fully appointed kitchen, cooking dinner both nights. Absolutely lovely stay.

This was a fabulous place in a great location with very comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Great coffee maker. Very relaxing space. Jo was particularly helpful in the recovery of an item left behind for which I am very grateful. I would highly recommend this property during a stay in the area.

This space is so comfortable and has so much to offer: hot tub, gas stove/oven, washer/dryer…absolutely wonderful for the weary traveler to rest! I only wish we could have stayed longer!

An absolute beautiful dreamhome. Definitely everything you need in one place for a holiday. We didn't even want to leave. Surroundings was beautiful and relaxing. Great place to stay. Well we’ll thought out property and comfortably accommodated our group of 8. Has absolutely everything you need. Great quality linens and towels etc and the whole place felt fresh and clean. Team was great to deal with through the booking process

We really loved our stay, a relaxing break in gorgeous accommodation just a short stroll to the beach. Private & quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom has a great shower, also nice having the shower outside for sandy bods! Highly recommend 🙂

Our stay was absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed the cosy living space, the hot tub and the view. It was better than expected. It felt very private with minimal activity around us. The perfect place for a couples getaway.

Loved everything about The Cottage, including the gardens, birdlife, pets, & bunnies everywhere and not forgetting a fantastic spa! Lovely host who had supplied so many extras to make our stay more comfortable - including a delicious sourdough loaf & the best ever Afghan biscuits (recipe please, Debbie!), bacon & eggs, cream, chocolates & a well-stocked pantry. We seldom left the cottage after we lit the fire, which was already set for us, as we were so cozy, comfortable & relaxed. It really was the absolute best few days away from the hustle & bustle of city life & made me want to move to rural NZ! Thank you so much Debbie & Mike for welcoming us & allowing us the privilege of staying in your beautiful property. We loved every minute & appreciated all the extras you supplied to make our getaway so very special. Can’t wait to visit next time I’m in NZ. xx

We had such a wonderful time staying at The Old Dag. The cottage is spacious, well equipped, and has stunning views of rolling hills and farmlands. Check in was super easy, and we were welcomed with fresh cookies and a well heated cottage. Amanda welcomed us to the explore the farm and meet with some of her very friendly animals. We specially enjoyed the horses, mini ponies, and goat. The outdoor bath was totally private and had an amazing view of the stars. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Lovely place to stay on our way north. Great set up, super peaceful and had all the comforts you'd want and more. Paul was so helpful letting us check in early which we really appreciated. highly recommend Paul's place to stay at.
