Wonderful home with stunning views to look at and wake up to! Weather was chilly but the house was always warm and cosy. Bed comfortable and shower very good, overall a very comfortable place to relax in. Wonderful area near forest for walks and lots of interesting places to visit. Great value for money and will def go back!

Beautiful location, lovely and cosy. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tessa's place. We had some thick snow and it made the inside of the cabin feel even more like a cosy getaway. Tessa was super responsive and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay. Lovely touches like a fresh loaf of bread made especially for us and the lovely homemade jam and marmalade made it even more special. The cottage had everything you could ask for and more. The hosts have really thought of everything to make a stay in their cottage a fantastic experience. The Hall Inn was just a couple of minutes down the road and served lovely, well priced meals. Would happily stay again at Alicia’s place and thoroughly recommend it. Look out for the chickens. They’re gorgeous!

We really enjoyed our time at this charming and welcoming holiday let; Rosie also put in some thoughtful touches in place for our young family. The space was kept to a high spec and was very well maintained. Would certainly recommend.

Wow! One of the best places we have stayed in! Clean, super comfortable, cosy, perfect for our party of 8! The games room was great for the boys, our daughter enjoyed feeding the animals and we were super pleased with a warm house with en suite facilities! Thank you Kathryn for the very generous hamper with goodies for us and our puppy! Your house and surrounding environment were beautiful! A quick trip to book paradise, Hay on Wye, on the way home made our weekend perfect! This house would make a gorgeous Christmas holiday rent as the surrounding pubs were lovely! Would absolutely recommend and hope to return.

Really enjoyed our stay at the barn. It’s a lovely place, clean and very quiet. Our kids loved being on the farm and saying hi to the sheep and chickens.

We stayed for a few days over New Year’s Eve and couldn’t have asked for a better time. The accommodation is beautiful, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the welcome hamper we received was a fantastic touch. An excellent place to stay, with a great host. Would definitely recommend, and will try to come back as soon as possible. Thanks to Rebecca for a great few days.

Beautiful big house, absolutely perfect for our big family Christmas celebrations. The hosts were really responsive and helpful. The hot tub was an added bonus. Highly recommend a stay here for any big group.

We had such an amazing time at the owlet! So peaceful and relaxing! Lovely walks and so nice to see the animals! The hot tub was so relaxing! My children really enjoyed helping Sarah with the ponies. Sarah was so helpful and great with my kids. Looking at booking again for the summer!

We had a wonderful stay at Niki’s place. The paddock around the cabin is completely enclosed which was perfect for our dog. The surroundings are beautiful and we felt very at peace. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Niki x

Beautiful location and can easily walk into the village. The annex was clean, comfortable and the homemade shortbread was delicious! Overall, a really lovely place with stunning views, cosy feel and had everything we needed for our stay!

Due to the extremely cold overnight temperatures Ros and Hugh offered us the adjacent loft conversion rather than the shepherd's hut, which we accepted, so we can't speak to the hut itself. But Ros and Hugh were excellent hosts, the breakfast offered was delicious and it's a beautiful location. The property was full of lots of information about local walks and pubs and we were able to check-out late which was helpful in the snow!

Helpful directions from the host make The Stables relatively easy to find, though if it’s dark and rainy and there’s a “Road Closed” sign in front of the mill wheel landmark (there was a tree down) it presents a little more of a challenge! I would add “If coming from Uley keep following the road until you get to the sign which says “Dursley welcomes walkers” and it’s on the right. The barn is beautiful. The fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality and the underfloor heating kept it warm and cosy. The views, and the walks from the doorstep are beautiful, and having a washing machine and tumble dryer is ideal if you have children who love mud. Both Gill and Aaron were warm, welcoming and very accommodating hosts. The WiFi is somewhat slow, but adequate, as you might expect in the countryside. The town of Dursley is within walking distance.

We had a fabulous stay over the Christmas period. The Barn was beautifully decorated with a lovely big Christmas tree, and was clean and cosy, stocked with everything that we needed. Sarah was responsive & extremely helpful. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and we went on some lovely walks, followed by a drink in the hot tub 😀. Our dog absolutely loved the treats provided and particularly liked the big garden to run around and explore. The local town is about a 5 minute drive away and is very cute with several shops, pubs and cafes. It was a real treat to escape the city & we would love to return one day!

We had such a lovely stay at the calf cott, it was perfectly cosy, had everything that we needed and more! Would highly recommend to friends and family. Location was great, hereford town and shops all within a 10-15 minute drive. This place is a real gem, gorgeous and cozy interiors and fab flower art and wreaths, the hosts even had a Christmas tree and lights up for our arrival so made it extra festive. The beds were comfy and it was great to have a bath for our 18 month old, also plenty baby equipment provided. One of the rooms is also fully accessible to mobility impaired which we required so was fantastic. Would love to stay again in the summer and avail of the outdoor patio area. Forget the rest. This is the best! The Water Mill is located just outside the village of Claverley in stunning surroundings. Beautiful views from the top field over the Shropshire countryside. The Mill itself is spread over 3 floors and has been beautifully converted to create a very comfortable rural retreat. We loved sitting under the mill wheel in the kitchen every morning with a cup of tea. Everything has been considered and the whole place was immaculately clean. Debb was a wonderful host, giving up her time to introduce us to the alpacas and then allowing us to take them for a walk! She helped to make our visit to Shropshire very special. Thank you, Debb, for kindness and also for the local wine, delicious cake, milk and other supplies you left for us. As I said… everything considered and simply THE BEST. You are in for a treat! We will most definitely be back!

WOW. This place is easily one of the best places we have ever stayed. We visited for New Year as 4 couples with 4 toddlers, and everything was perfect! We wanted cosy vibes for the New Year and this house just felt like home the minute we arrived! We would certainly visit again!! Thank you.

My friends and I stayed at Krystena’s place for two of our birthdays. The place and location of the house was just want we wanted, very peaceful and close to shops and pubs. Krystena was very helpful to answer any questions we had and was very friendly. The hottub was a lovely extra! We would all recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

Booked this accommodation for New Year’s eve for 6 people and a dog and it was perfect. The accommodation was exactly as shown, although I would say it is even better in person! The kitchen was well equipped and the hamper was a really lovely touch. The hot tub with the surrounding views was wonderful to watch the fireworks over the hills. I couldn’t recommend enough and would absolutely book to stay again. Pam was an excellent host. Quick responses and super helpful. Thank you so much, we had a magical time! Happy new year
