Great place to stay in Colombo! Walking distance to the beach where you can make wonderful morning walks, infinity pool at the roof and lots of restaurants and shops closeby. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and me had an amazing stay at Janik's apartment.. it was clean and tidy, and he had kept all the basic amenities for us... along with a small gift for Christmas to add a personal touch! Mr Jayantha was very accommodating. He made sure everything was working and right at home. He kept in touch with us throughout the stay and even topped up the internet for the kids. He was able to meet us at 5am. for check-in and midnight for checkout. Thank you again for the hospitality.

We had an excellent time here, Sudath was a wonderful host and the place is located in a very accessible and upscale part of the city with nearby lakes, parks and plenty of places to eat out. The property we stayed in was very clean, spacious and fitted with every convenience, with original paintings adorning the walls. It was a privilege and a pleasure to visit the Artway Gallery and enjoy Sudath and Achala's work, very senior and renowned artists. Highly recommended!

Kenodh’s apartment at Petersen Tower, Havelock City was excellent accommodation for our 2 night stay in Colombo 7-9 January 2025. The apartment was clean and tidy with generous sized rooms. Pool & gym on site. Apartment has lots of space for families of 4 or more. We were family of 3 adults. Location was perfect as we were travelling with friends who were staying with family in a nearby tower in the Havelock complex. Havelock Mall was walking distance from Petersen Tower where we had access to restaurants, supermarket and retail shopping. Kenodh was a very good host with prompt and responsive communication at all stages pre, during and post stay. The check in instructions were straightforward & clear. We contacted Kenodh’s local agent Thusitha for key handover. Thusitha was easy to deal with & flexible with handover time. He gave us a tour of the apartment so we knew how everything operated. We highly recommend this property, host & agent & would happily stay here again when in Colombo

We stayed at this place for over two weeks. Host Sudaththa and the manager Lakshanee were responsive and ready to help. Our flight arrived after midnight and the drive from airport was slow due to heavy rain. Lakshanee waited for us to let us in and introduce the facilities. They were also happy to accommodate our request to get some groceries for our immediate needs. The pool on the roof is small but very clean and is set in nice surroundings (can see the ocean from the rooftop). A/c units and fans kept us cool and the generator on standby meant there was no power interruption for more than a few seconds. The security guards were alert even after 19 pm and opened the gate for us when we were a little late to get back. Overall the experience was better than anticipated. The kitchen utensil range is limited but if we had asked I believe what we needed would have been provided. We did not because we only needed to make breakfast and tea there.

We are really happy with the stay. Check in and communication was easy. The apartment is very clean and spacious. Close all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there every time visiting Srilanka. Highly recommend!

We friends had booked stay at jay''s place and it was worth for the pay in all aspects right from easy checkin , very spacious and clean house with beautiful garden and peaceful Nebhiourwood .

Lahiru's place is in excellent condition. I love the way Lahiru and Dilini communicated with me. They were very responsive and helpful in every way they could. The house is also well-maintained. Overall, I'm very happy and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

Our family had a remarkable stay at this property. Three levels of this house to ourselves - you couldn't get a better experience anywhere else! Every corner was tastefully decorated with so much attention to detail. The space was clean, clutter-free and had ample room. My favourite space was the open terrace with the beautiful Moroccan lights - it was the perfect way to lounge in the evenings, enjoying the breeze and unwinding after a long day. Everyone will enjoy the salt-water infinity pool and views of the Lotus Tower from the 4th floor. The location of this house is central to most attractions in Colombo with walking access to a grocery store and other amenities. Most importantly, the host Buddhika was incredibly kind and accommodating to all our needs. My only wish is that we could've stayed there longer. I would recommend this place to anyone interested.

Kumar’s place was fabulous. Jaya (house keeper) was such an amazing help, simply made our stay luxurious. Tuan (manager) was very responsive and helped with arranging everything.

VILLA 49 is a beautifully designed, spotless, and well-maintained property. I worked there remotely for a week, and the internet was fast and reliable throughout my stay. The hosts, who live next door, were incredibly responsive and helpful. They welcomed us with refreshing homemade lemonade and even made a brunch reservation for us and drove us to Colombo with our luggage on our last day—above and beyond hospitality! The property offers parking, and while the nearby traffic makes the town less walking-friendly, there are a few local gems worth exploring. It’s easy to call a cab and travel to nearby areas in 15–20 minutes. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

The place was really homely. Secured Easy access . Well maintained and beautiful set up along with plants and lovely ornaments and a fountain near the living area. Quiet neighbourhood. Sumal ( the host ) is very attentive and always ensure that we are comfortable . And ofcourse friendly and helpful as well.

The place was spotless and well-maintained! We stayed for over a month, and Janith’s dad was always available and happy to help whenever needed. As it was my first time using Airbnb, I was a bit nervous, but Janith reassured me that the place was safe and it truly was. Its proximity to the city was incredibly convenient. I’m so glad I chose this place because they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Great apartment! Fully corresponds to the description and photos, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room-kitchen. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows in bedrooms. 5 minutes from the apartment there is a beach (if you want to relax on the sunbeds and under umbrellas, I recommend the place of Mrs.Muriel Fernando near the Sugar beach cafe. A very friendly host organizes everything you need for a comfortable stay on the beach). 7 minutes from the apartment in the other direction is the main street, which has plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops. The stay in this apartment was wonderful! For any questions related to the apartment, Raja helped us, he also helped to organize the tour

Amazing communication from the host who messaged me from before check in, throughout, and even after, I was offered a welcome drink and advice throughout. The room is also not even 60 seconds from a beautiful beach where food, drinks, and an amazing sunset are available to watch. In summary, I will be using this bnb more and can not fault it !! We greatly enjoyed our stay at this apartment, and would definitely stay for longer if we could. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, rooms were tidy, and the living room felt really cozy. It felt like home, and it was really hard saying goodbye. The city views were great, and the area had great access to services. We really miss the apartment, and the experience is one we'll never forget. We would highly recommend this apartment for anyone who wants a cozy and relaxing stay with their families. What can I say other than don’t miss the opportunity to stay in this exceptional home. I was doing some work in Colombo for two months and was fortunate enough to come across Chandi’s & Lucy’s place online. Photos can’t do justice to the true sense of calm which you experience as soon as you walk through the entrance door to the property which separates the garden of Colombo Retreat from the street (a quiet private road which runs off a busier street with a few shops/restaurants within easy walking distance). The property is all on the ground floor with a private garden for your own use which wraps itself around the space. Completely private. Inside the space is beautifully furnished with an easy blend of antiques and more contemporary Sri Lankan furniture. You know that this is someone’s home but you never feel like you are intruding. I could not recommend this beautiful home more. Finally, a shout-out to Asta (co-host) and Asuntha (housekeeper), both of whom were so attentive.

This was a very cosy warm place. He was really a good host. Host told me about many places in Sri Lanka. I got lots of information from him.some one received us from the hotel. He decorated our room for our anniversary beautifully.the Host does the extra mile if he has to. Very friendly and cordial. We simply loved this apartment and the neighbour hood. Peaceful safe neighbour good. And many things are nearby in walking distance. We will surely be back in the same apartment when we come to Sri Lanka. Pubudu is a gem of a person. Although our stay at his home was only 3 nights, he was helpful for our entire holiday in Sri Lanka. He even provided extremely reasonable prices road travel.options within Sri Lanka. As regards his home, it is a great options for those looking for a peaceful and serene location. His home is exactly as listed and in fact has more than what is listed. Pubudu has taken care of everything one could possibly require on their travels. There are a few supermarkets within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped for those who prefer to cook for themselves. The building complex also has a nice swiming pool which can be used. The apartment is a home away from home.
