Great Location. Close to lots of Shopping, Grocery, DIALOG Phone HQ. The host was very quick and responsive. Made sure we had no issues getting in and settling down. Will definitely recommend to friends and Family. Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Soaps and toothpaste supplied. Many places do not, now. Great security in the building. Feel safe and sound.

My family and I, wanted a place in Colombo for a month. After looking for a long time, we finally found this apartment, which truly exceeded our expectations. The best thing is the property it self which has many facilities such as the gym, pool, supermarket and an ATM. There are many restaurants close by aswell. Overall the experience was great. The only drawback if any I would say is the height of the bed, which is very low to the ground. Other than that fantastic place.

Very beautiful apartment and with an amazing ocean view. The infinity pool on the roof with the view is cherry on the cake! Also Mrs. Chandi was always available to hive tips, recommendations and answer the queries. She also arranged for airport pickup which made our lives some much easier. Overall, a great place to stay with awesome views and nice host.

We loved staying in this flat. It is above the 30th floor. There are floor to ceiling windows in every room with incredible views of the city, the sea, the Lotus Tower the parks and the reservoir. Wild White Bellied Sea Eagles circle and soar infront of the windows every day. There is air conditioning in every room which all works great. The gym / fitness centre is really well equipped with good AC. The infinity rooftop pool is a nice temperature with truly breathtaking 45th floor views of the whole city. Both the gym and the pool are very quiet. We were the only people there everytime we used them. The host is also very responsive and helpful. Great broadband speed. Owner even replaced furniture especially for us. We will be back!

Lively compact apartment right in the centre of the city.Everything is closeby. Loved the bakery paan paan next door. Apartment was clean and well maintained. lots of light, good air conditioning. small kitchen with washer and dryer. Perfect for stay with kids who loved the pool.

We stayed at this place for over two weeks. Host Sudaththa and the manager Lakshanee were responsive and ready to help. Our flight arrived after midnight and the drive from airport was slow due to heavy rain. Lakshanee waited for us to let us in and introduce the facilities. They were also happy to accommodate our request to get some groceries for our immediate needs. The pool on the roof is small but very clean and is set in nice surroundings (can see the ocean from the rooftop). A/c units and fans kept us cool and the generator on standby meant there was no power interruption for more than a few seconds. The security guards were alert even after 19 pm and opened the gate for us when we were a little late to get back. Overall the experience was better than anticipated. The kitchen utensil range is limited but if we had asked I believe what we needed would have been provided. We did not because we only needed to make breakfast and tea there.

We are really happy with the stay. Check in and communication was easy. The apartment is very clean and spacious. Close all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there every time visiting Srilanka. Highly recommend!

Stayed 5 days at Jay’s beautiful house! Spacious,peaceful and had all amenities that our 3 families needed. Property was very secure with walls around and a lockable gate. Short drives to supermarkets, restaurants and a few department stores. Mrs. Rajakaruna was super helpful and flexible with our check in. We ordered some meals on top which were delicious, authentic Sri Lankan and very reasonably priced. We definitely will be back! Thanks Jay and the team!

Second time staying here and had an enjoyable stay. Spacious home and nice place to get some work done. Friendly and responsive hosts. Would happily stay again.

My elderly mother, a relative and myself stayed at Prasanna’s place. Prasanna was a friendly host and facilitated especially the needs of my mother. The house was a silent peaceful place. I managed to read a lot in my stay and participated online conference from there. We had good overnight sleep in those great air conditioned rooms. The garden was spacious with lots of trees . Many of them had local fruit which we enjoyed with permission from Prasanna. Local areas were still villages and good to experience the feel of Sri Lankan villages

The location is really good - proximity of distance to essentials is within reach (Cargill's supermarket, fish shop across Cargill's, decent restaurants, a fashion shop "Glam 360" which has nice dresses/clothing for women, and the Catholic Church - Sacred Heart Church, Rajagiriya) just to name a few of the places visitors may be interested. But please be advised also that the Seafood Factory is already replaced by a hardware shop, however, the signboard is still up which is really misleading. Thilakharatna was really helpful and very fast in resolving any of our concerns. Chinthake was really a superhost in the truest sense of the word. Our family had a great time in this place and we will book it again for our next visit in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

Kumar’s place was fabulous. Jaya (house keeper) was such an amazing help, simply made our stay luxurious. Tuan (manager) was very responsive and helped with arranging everything.

VILLA 49 is a beautifully designed, spotless, and well-maintained property. I worked there remotely for a week, and the internet was fast and reliable throughout my stay. The hosts, who live next door, were incredibly responsive and helpful. They welcomed us with refreshing homemade lemonade and even made a brunch reservation for us and drove us to Colombo with our luggage on our last day—above and beyond hospitality! The property offers parking, and while the nearby traffic makes the town less walking-friendly, there are a few local gems worth exploring. It’s easy to call a cab and travel to nearby areas in 15–20 minutes. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

The place was really homely. Secured Easy access . Well maintained and beautiful set up along with plants and lovely ornaments and a fountain near the living area. Quiet neighbourhood. Sumal ( the host ) is very attentive and always ensure that we are comfortable . And ofcourse friendly and helpful as well.

Mr Kanishka was very helpful and always responsive to our texts and calls. He was an excellent host as he even went to extra mile at times to cater to our requests. The unit was located in almost the heart of the Nugegoda town, which was very convenient for us as we had easy access to many areas. We also felt secured and peaceful. The Unit was clean and everything we required was available. We really do appreciate the hospitality of Mr Kanishka.

Our family of four spent two weeks at Chathura’s place. We enjoyed our stay, the facilities of the building (the pool!), the view over Colombo skyline, the lake and ocean, and the convenience of the location. A perfect introduction to the city. The apartment is stylish and well equipped. Chathura was very approachable, helpful and prompt to respond.

Highly recommended! Shiffan was a great host and gave valuable travel tips for the weeds trip in Sri Lanka. The apartment is as pictured, some maintenance work would be needed (sliding door, wardrobe) but totally fine for the price. Beach and restaurants within walking distance.

What can I say other than don’t miss the opportunity to stay in this exceptional home. I was doing some work in Colombo for two months and was fortunate enough to come across Chandi’s & Lucy’s place online. Photos can’t do justice to the true sense of calm which you experience as soon as you walk through the entrance door to the property which separates the garden of Colombo Retreat from the street (a quiet private road which runs off a busier street with a few shops/restaurants within easy walking distance). The property is all on the ground floor with a private garden for your own use which wraps itself around the space. Completely private. Inside the space is beautifully furnished with an easy blend of antiques and more contemporary Sri Lankan furniture. You know that this is someone’s home but you never feel like you are intruding. I could not recommend this beautiful home more. Finally, a shout-out to Asta (co-host) and Asuntha (housekeeper), both of whom were so attentive.

Ashoka communicated very well from the beginning. The apartment was exactly as described. Very clean and well kept with all the essential supplies, including spices and tea and coffee making ingredients. The kitchen is well stocked if you wanted to cook. Alternatively the apartment is well placed in close proximity to restaurants, supermarkets and other grocery shops. There is a supermarket just a minute away. Check in was smooth and looked after by Ajantha who lives next door. Ajantha is professional and a lovely person. Grest security and we really felt safe in area. I would highly recommend the property, we will certainly be back 🙂.

This was a very cosy warm place. He was really a good host. Host told me about many places in Sri Lanka. I got lots of information from him.some one received us from the hotel. He decorated our room for our anniversary beautifully.the Host does the extra mile if he has to. Very friendly and cordial. We simply loved this apartment and the neighbour hood. Peaceful safe neighbour good. And many things are nearby in walking distance. We will surely be back in the same apartment when we come to Sri Lanka. Pubudu is a gem of a person. Although our stay at his home was only 3 nights, he was helpful for our entire holiday in Sri Lanka. He even provided extremely reasonable prices road travel.options within Sri Lanka. As regards his home, it is a great options for those looking for a peaceful and serene location. His home is exactly as listed and in fact has more than what is listed. Pubudu has taken care of everything one could possibly require on their travels. There are a few supermarkets within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped for those who prefer to cook for themselves. The building complex also has a nice swiming pool which can be used. The apartment is a home away from home.

Simply WONDERFUL!! I have been on BnB for 11 years, and used it extensively, Heshan’s place is the BEST in all means, location, view, convenience, cleanliness and much more. The view is really breathtaking, endless view of the Indian Ocean through wide and high glass windows. The penthouse is fully furnished and equipped, you won’t need to buy anything except food. Heshan is such a kind and cultured proud Sri Lankan, a very successful business man, and great company. In my special case, me and my wife became friends with Heshan and Sadri ( his wife) who also impressed us with her kindness, great personality and also cooking skills!!! Yes, they kindly invited us to their private home 🏡, what a mansion they live in, a dream house… the best thing of our 2- week trip to Sri Lanka is the fact that we made dear friends in Colombo, Sadri and Heshan, whom we invited to visit us in Egypt and Jordan.
