Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Maggie Valley

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Great place to travel between cities and visit Smoky Mountains. Nice, quiet area and the trails on the property were great. Rita's place had everything you need for a home away from home. We had a great overall experience, we always love the waynesville area. The home was clean, organized, and exactly as described. Host was very thorough with instructions and very easy to Interact with. 10/10 would stay again!

Very clean and quiet home. Our stay was great we had beautiful views. Sadly we didnt spend alot of time in the home as we were visiting family. Great vacation home if you just want to relax and get away.

Everything on our trip was perfect. The house, the location, the view—absolutely perfect. It's in a very convenient spot, with great restaurants and shops just minutes away. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there were plenty of towels and hand towels available. The living room had ample seating for our entire group, as did the kitchen table and the porch, which made for some really relaxing mornings and evenings. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest and recharge after our days exploring. Parking was also a breeze—there was more than enough room for two cars, and you could easily fit a third if needed. What really stood out was the view. The photos just don’t do it justice. Stepping out onto the front porch each day felt like stepping into a postcard. It’s truly stunning. The host was fantastic—very responsive and informative from start to finish. We felt well taken care of the entire time. I highly recommend this home.

Amelia was a great host with great communication! The cabin was exactly as pictured! It was charming, cozy and with breathtaking views! We are still talking about this place and looking forward to going back!

Don and Renie’s place was perfect for my weekend getaway back to WCU. As a host, Don was perfect and accommodating. The views were spectacular and the amenities provided were superb. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit WCU.

Me and my friend visited for my birthday and this listing was perfect! The bed was amazing, the space was very nice and clean, and the location was perfect for our activities! Very quiet and comfortable :) My only regret was not coming while the garden was in bloom! Will definitely be back to stay again and see it in it’s full glory though.

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

Loved my stay at Jennifer’s place! Even nicer than the photos. Jennifer was wonderful to communicate with and super helpful.

If you typically avoid choosing rentals that are adjacent to the owners, let me assure you that this one is different! We felt so at home, welcomed and relaxed the entire time. Duane and his wife introduced themselves when we pulled in because they were outside doing yard work. They left us a personalized welcome card in the house, offered us pastries one evening that they had baked, and even showed interest in recent race results that my husband ran while we were there. It’s a 12 minute drive to Davidson Campground and the Pisgah visitor’s center and about 15 or so to downtown Brevard. We had total privacy in the hot tub and an amazing sunset view. The appliances are new and work great, and the beds were super comfy! It was a perfect getaway for my husband and I and we are hoping to come back again next year. Thanks Duane and family! 🩷

Great place would do it again! Only negative we are a sports family and the local channel line up didn’t have sports on March madness weekend . Other than that no complaint at all!

a lovely, cozy little apartment in glorious proximity to hiking trails (and town). it might take a little cleverness to pull off a full meal in the kitchenette, but it does the job! i would stay again—many thanks, barbara.

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

Location was great with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

It was good overall but it would be way better after construction would be done and I do not recommend grandparents to go because of walking on the hills, but other than that everything was amazing!! Place was clean and tidy, had hood communication with Hollie and the scenery and weather really helped us made the trip better..

Great space! Very CLEAN. Beautiful location. Adam was very responsive to questions. Home is private and picturesque yet a short drive to downtown Weaverville and Asheville. The home WiFi uses older encryption (TKIP) but I was able to use my cellphone as a hotspot for school/work. Personal devices connected to the WiFi fine. Both AT&T and Verizon cellular networks have strong signal here. This was minor and did not deter from our enjoyment of the residence or the trip itself. We had a wonderful time, and would return.

We had an excellent and very relaxing stay, it was a birthday surprise for my husband, he was excited and very happy, the Cypress villa is very beautiful and the mountain views are excellent, waking up with the view of the mountains and the clouds in the sky is the most relaxing, and Julie is an excellent host she was always very attentive to all the details and answered all my questions very quickly, I definitely highly recommend this villa

Such a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Waves of nostalgia in every nook and cranny of this house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed admiring the pictures, decorations, books and furniture! Preparing meals in the kitchen was an absolute treat. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped kitchen. The serving platters, cooking utensils, cookware and glassware were enjoyed by all! The home was clean and so peaceful. The fireplace was just icing on the cake! Everyone enjoyed our family trip and we hope to return!
