House vacation rentals in Mackinaw City

The home was beyond expectations and included everything you could need and more. It was secluded and the natural beauty was breathtaking! The host was immediately responsive when we had a question and exceedingly accommodating. The hot tub was perfect on a cold misty morning overlooking the serene river view just a few steps from the deck. Highly recommended and hoping to return next year.

My husband and I love the Leelanau peninsula and try to go up once in the spring before the craziness and once in the fall each year. Tiffany’s place did not disappoint. The property its self was magical, private, and everything as described. The location was 5 stars for what we enjoy - Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and all in between! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Minutes from downtown. Very responsive when questions were asked and gave many great recommendations. Highly recommend this house for your place to stay in Traverse city.

Great place to stay for larger groups. wasn't riding this trip but trails are right there.

Taylor was very accommodating. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a note that the some work had to be done on the property, the was almost completed, and she left us a giftcard for the nearby pizza place (definitely recommend the midwesterner there fyi) which is entirely unnecessary, though a very kind act. The work being done on the property did not Impact our stay one bit! The hot tub was lovely, especially on Sunday when we got to sit out there while it snowed around us. The fireplace was extremely cozy and one of our favorite features! We unfortunately missed ice fishing season, though found out from locals at Burt Lake where to buy some new fishing rods. Very friendly neighbors! Burt Lake took us only 7 min to walk to as well! Also walkable to a nearby brewery, grocery store at the corner though also could walk to for maybe 10 Min, liquor store probably 10 min walk as well. Wonderful location! Highly recommend!

Everything was exactly as described, easy to find with clear instructions to get in, and perfectly dog friendly! Flat sheets were even provided to cover the furniture for our pup so all of us felt right at home. The fenced in backyard and where the hot tub was placed were the best part for us. Our dog was able to zoom around while we relaxed in the hot tub. The motion sensored lights allowed us to always see where she was and we felt safe knowing the property was securely fenced in for her to enjoy. We will definitely be back. Thank you Amanda!

We loved staying at Carl's. The pool table and hot tub are my kids favorite part.

Our stay was wonderful! We needed a break from our fast paced life and this was just what we needed! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and played several spirited games of billiards. We highly recommend staying here!

Just back from a 3 night stay at Hall's Haven and it was a perfect spot for our two families of 4, ages 7 thru 50! The welcome treats were such a nice added touch and much appreciated. Lots of space for kids and adults to spread out and plenty of toys and games for everyone. Lots of space for ski gear too! We loved having fires and cooking big meals together in the kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. There was SO much snow and every window had a beautiful view of the snowy woods. Quiet, lovely neighborhood near the Lakeview Inn and just 5 minutes to Schuss Village for skiing. The sauna was an added luxury after a day of skiing! We had the best weekend together! Chelsea was very welcoming and accommodating! We spent a few days at Shanty Creek for a conference and went skiing at Schuss Mountain. Great location for both activities! Highly recommend staying here- Chelsea was a wonderful host!

Bill is a wonderful Host. Our Family traveled from Chicago and we had a great stay! Everything about the property is very well maintained and beautiful. We would Love to visit again real soon.

Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

My husband & I rented Melissa's cottage for a weekend getaway to Traverse City. It was so peaceful & the home was just as described/pictured. The gifts left for us were delicious & made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was perfect for cold mornings & evenings. The cottage was clean & decorated lovely (LOVE all the books!). We feel we chose the perfect rental for our weekend! Leelanau county has a lot to offer & more than we realized! We wine tasted on Old Mission Peninsula near Traverse City, but apparently there were nice wineries even closer - & one just a couple miles down the road from this rental! The heat worked well and the fireplace was such a nice touch for the winter. I'm so glad it's usable! Thank you again for sharing your cottage with us!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin retreat! The location was perfect—set on top of a hill with tons of land to explore. It was so quiet and private, exactly what we were looking for. Our kids had an absolute blast running around and adventuring through the woods and open spaces. The whole family loved being able to disconnect and enjoy nature together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting! We also really appreciated the little things, such as the welcome bottle of wine. Great stay!

Stayed here with a few friends over our college break, it was an awesome time and the perfect space for a group of college students to relax and all be together. Lots of activities within the house (ping pong, pool table, cornhole, darts) which made the trip better. Great fridge space and bathrooms/showers worked well. More than enough sleeping spaces for me and all my friends. Would highly recommended to any large group looking for a fun getaway!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Great place to share with our adult children and young grandchildren. The small private sandy beach was perfect for our toddler and his trucks. Availability of kayaks and water toys added to the comfort of spending an afternoon at the house. It was very well stocked for cooking and had plenty of counter space for prep and meals. Our host was responsive within minutes with any questions. Location is great to make a day trip to Mackinac Island and another toTraverse City and its peninsulas. Petoskey is ~20mins drive and is an adorable town on Lake Michigan with great restaurant and shopping options as well as a nice stone break wall for watching the sunset. Harbor Springs is just an additional 10mi with a small downtown and a line out the door for Tom’s Mom’s Cookies! Thanks for a memorable family vacation!

Lindsay was easy to work with and very responsive. We were in the area during the local Ice Storm checking on our own vacation home in Gaylord. We booked last minute but were given check in instructions instantly. The location was perfect and we had all the comforts of home. I would definitely rent from Lindsay again and would recommend Boyneland Vacation Rentals to anyone visiting the area.
