Family home where it's good to live , comfortable with an incredible sea view and not overlooked . All kitchenware is present there microwave oven, different coffee machine, (nespresso machine,delta, and traditional) dishwasher, washing machine. Easy parking location. The house matches the photos and descriptions very well and the instructions provided by the owner are accurate. Fabio is a lovely and responsive host The environment is quiet. No shops on foot , everything is by car. Highly recommended for a family with children or friends…. To be repeated without hesitation during a future stay...

Maria’s home is lovely, everything was very clean and tidy. The roof terrace with pool and outside kitchen made our holiday. Overlooking Funchal and the daily visits of cruise ships, we really enjoyed mornings and evenings in this happy place.

Our stay in the villa was even better than expected. The house was very spacious and clean, we had all the facilities we needed and Elvio was a really friendly and helpful host. We would totally recommend staying here!

The house is very spacious, nice, clean and maintained. It has everything you need for a longer stay. Our kids loved the pool. The place is rather quiet (just some dog barking occasionally) and small but beautiful. There are restaurants and a cafe with mini market. A larger supermarket is about 10-15 minutes away. A rental car makes sense if you live in Porto da Cruz and want to make excursions. There are also buses. The car can be parked on the premises. Access to the house is possible without extremely steep roads (as it often exists in Madeira). We felt very comfortable in the house for 2 weeks and can highly recommend it.

Lovely home in the center of Arco da Calheta. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful and the basement is extremely spacious. The bedrooms were beautiful but one was a bit too cramped for 2 people.

Manny, thank you very much for such a wonderful stay! My partner and I had the most amazing time here and really appreciated having a relaxing and serene place to come back to after our adventures during the day. One of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in – perfect views, comfortable, had everything we needed, lots of space, very close to a supermarket/restaurant/pharmacy, and in a convenient location to many of the attractions my partner and I wanted to see in Madeira! We will definitely come back, especially because of Manny and his son and how warm and helpful they were during check-in.

Very friendly and responsive host . Place is nice , big and clean . There is everything you might need inside the house with many cosy and sweet details . Easy to get to and from by car and there is a bus stop nearby. Supermarket 4 minutes walking . Super cool view to the ocean and you can see planes landing , they were flying directly above the house . 😍 Unfortunately there is not much to do or not so many places to go to from the house by foot , but Madeira is for explorers 😉

We had a great 7 days at Eva's house. Thanks to the very detailed description, we had no problems getting there and the path was absolutely feasible. The house is very quiet in the countryside and we felt comfortable from the first moment. Since it is on the north side of the island, we also had a rainy day, which we used to read comfortably on the sofa overlooking mountains and the sea. Many hiking trails are only a short drive away and also on the sunnier island side you are within 30 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at the penthouse. The accommodation is fully equipped and has been handed over sparkling clean. Eva is an excellent host, was always very friendly and accommodating. The equipment of the accommodation is high-quality and tasteful, albeit a bit outdated. The large terrace was our absolute highlight, from here you could watch breathtaking sunsets. The other floors of the house are not inhabited, but you were not necessarily alone on the property: there is still a vacation home in the back of the property, and on the terrace of the second floor there was someone who also enjoyed the sunsets. Overall a very nice stay and an absolute recommendation!

Super great apartment with everything you need. Very central and walking distance to the beach, buses and taxis and all shopping. We'll be back for sure! ❤️

We really enjoyed our time at Rosa-Lina's place and would book here again at any time. The place is great with a wonderful view and the banana trees in their own garden. Fresh grapes and peppers were ready to welcome you. Especially the communication with Rosa-Lina was great. She gave us good instructions to find the house even in the dark. And their tips for the local street festival were worth gold. But we were most impressed by how quickly they took care of issues. When the washing machine went down, a new one was connected the next day (we would have been stuck without the washing machine). As we read it in previous reviews: We didn't have any issues with the wifi. The toilet in the upper floor is no longer in operation, so there were no problems with smell.

The accommodation was perfectly located and offered great value for money. The amenities throughout the house, especially in the kitchen, were exceptional and included everything you could possibly need. Communication with the host was prompt and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Very friendly and helpful host. Good location very private but car is a MUST. We shared the villa with other family, 4 adults and 4 kids and we still felt that we had enough space. Very space full. Highly recommend.

This is a great house to stay in. It has 2 good sized bedrooms. Beds are really comfortable and there is plenty of storage. The kitchen has everything you need and Lina left us coffee, sugar and a few other essentials. The living / dining room is large with air conditioning. The roof terrace is amazing with fabulous outlook on Funchal. Parking on road outside was never a problem. 5mins drive to centre but there are also a couple of buses which pass nearby.

what a great place - proper home from home with absolutely everything we needed for our 3 night stay. it's a very peaceful location with less than a 10 mins drive into the centre of Porto Moniz. Silvia was excellent host - very communicative and responsive. would definitely stay here again.

Great location outside of Funchal where it is a bit less busy but still with lots of nice restaurants nearby. The house is exactly as described, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Parking was convenient just outside. Thanks for the easy communication and hospitality.

Very pleasant stay, the house was spotless. You will have a private pool and a beautiful view of the valley and the sea. The beds were very comfortable, no amenities to say. We are very happy and we are thinking of coming back to Madeira.

It is a lovley place

We had a great few days in this beautiful house. There was enough room for everyone (we were 9 people) and the kids loved the foosball table.

WOW! Do not hesitate to book this place. Everything was beyond my expectations. The view, the stream onsite, the garden, the location. Please don't stay in Funchal. I couldn't get out of the city quick enough back to this place. So calming. I didn't want to leave. Yes, the distance is a bit further out but you won't regret it. Very peaceful.
