Monthly Rentals in Luchera

The house is an entire floor with a veranda with stunning views of the green mountains. At the bottom a sunny garden. A car is needed to see the sights as the beautiful waterfalls, caves and nice villages nearby. Also at a not too long distance from Lucca and Pisa. Recommended.

We enjoyed a brief stay here at the start of August. The house is full of Italian charm, it's traditional and a little rustic but it was really nice. There are tiles on the floor and some nice pieces of furniture. It was spacious enough for our family of four. The stairs are a little steep but okay for us, there was a stair gate at the top if needed but we didn't use it. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage for our clothes. It was really nice to have some oil, salt, sugar, coffee, jams and biscuits for us to use. It is annoying having to buy all the basics so that was a nice touch from the host. The place was clean and we had everything we needed although a fan might have been nice. The view of the stream out the back is lovely. There were a few mosquitoes but not many. It is remote, you do need a car to get around but that was fine for us. It's a nice location of you want to explore by car. Parking was closed by.

A nice place to stay in a great location. The next small shopping opportunity is down the street (note opening hours), the next larger supermarket is 5 minutes away by car. The nearest restaurant is within walking distance (the path leads along a main road without a sidewalk), less than 3 minutes by car. From the property you have a beautiful view of the village, the river and the surrounding hills. Behind the house, the hiking opportunities begin. Ideal for a couple (+ child). The host was super friendly and helpful! I felt very comfortable. I'd love to come back any time.
