Fantastic AirBnB would definitely recommend and brilliant we could bring our pup with us. Kate and Dan were super helpful and very accommodating. Only minor blemish for us as Spark mobile users, there is very little coverage at this address (you might think this is a positive of course!).

Philip’s Gatehouse is a masterpiece of comfort and consideration. Spotlessly clean, and every thoughtful provision is generously provided. We have stayed in many Airbnb‘s over the years and rarely do we have a host as amenable and gentlemanly as Philip. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay immensely.

This home was beautiful and clean. Madeline was super helpful and response. Could not have asked for a better host of home. Thankyou for sharing your lovely place with us. We had the best time.

Great place to stay! Lots of space inside and out and a beautiful setting! The outdoor bath was a big hit with us and the kids. The gardens are lovely and the house was spotless. We were visiting family in Wainuiomata so the location worked well for us (about 5 mins drive out of the town). We would happily stay here again on our next visit.

It’s been a little over a week but the magic of this beautiful place is still lingering with us! We arrived to stormy seas but were met with both Rachel & Steve who were both so welcoming. (The welcome sign that Steve fashioned for us was such a lovely way to set the scene!!). We enjoyed both the stormy night and the next day - with glorious blue skies and warm sunshine out on the deck. Steve and Rachel have done such a lovely job with this wee place. The decor and colour scheme were so cosy. My partner and I got so many tiny-home ideas and I was stoked to see that even in a small space… books were stacked heartily on the shelf!! Our dog found it a bit nerve wracking being by the sea (and we’re so sorry for his nervous behaviour). My partner and I would really love to come back, just ourselves one day. Beautiful scenery, lovely couple and just such a gem of a place. Thank you for sharing with us! We adored those last 2 days of our trip.

This was my second stay at Kerry and David's. It was another great stay, and they do all the extra little things that make the stay extra special, such as great communication, drinks and treats in the fridge. The location is great. It is an easy walk to Pauatahanui, a charming village with great walks, or a small drive to Plimmerton for the beach. Overall great value

A slice of heaven which was a perfect break for us from the city after our wedding for a night. the place was full of thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable yet was modern and tidy.
