Peter is a top tier host! Place was beautiful with an amazing view, super easy to find and was an easy check in and check out process. House was much bigger than I thought! Lovely home. Would highly recommend if wanting to be out of the busy city ! Amazing place

Absolutely gorgeous house in great walkable location to so many cafes, restaurants and sights to see. Hosts were fantastic, proactive and the treats upon arrival were very well received.

I think it might be impossible for pictures for Maddie’s Place to capture the sheer quaintness and attractiveness of this spacious unit. It is fantastic. Landed way above expectation. Maddie was personally very communicative and helpful. Local transportation and shopping are so close. Would definitely plan to stay here again. Thanks for a great 5 days, Maddie. PS we were at Maddie’s Place over Christmas. Walked in our girls were thrilled to see a decorated tree in the living room..,with the lights on. AWESOME!!

After naking our booking month's in advance, we were impressed by the open communication, the warm welcome we received, the accommodation was as described. Really good instructions on how to get through gate at the bottom of driveway and which driveways to take to get to accommodation. I did message to see if we could arrive earlier and it wasnt an issue. Will be recommending the stay to friend's etc. Far enough out of Wellington for the peace and quiet but close enough that it wasnt a long drive to Wellington cbd. So nice listening to our native bird's during the day and night when we were actually there.

My husband and I stayed at Steph's beautiful home with our daughter and grandchildren and enjoyed a lovely, homely stay. The weather was kind and the home is situated in a very quiet enclave that is very sheltered. Upstairs there is a lovely view of Lowry Bay from the main bedroom balcony. So close to local amenities with beautiful Days Bay a short drive away for a nice swim and eats in the quaint cafe overlooking the bay. Charming 20 min ferry ride to central Wellington for a shop and look around. Highly recommend this spot with the seclusion of a secret garden and the convenience of a great location.

Beautiful, very comfortable home. Mark is a stand out host - very friendly, responsive, flexible, generous and communicative, especially with our last minute booking. My only complaint is that we had a busy schedule and didn’t spend as much time there as we would have liked. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Giles is a wonderful host! He was VERY communicative, and very helpful with local ideas and recommendations on things to do. Everything he suggested, we thoroughly loved. Truly a top notch host! And the space was wonderful! I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

This place is both huge and right in the centre of the action. Perhaps not for those who struggle with stairs (two flights up, no elevator) or are light sleepers (all manner of rubbish trucks and delivery trucks in the laneways at night), it was absolutely perfect for our work team of five. Huge bedrooms with comfortable beds and crisp linen and a massive open plan living space with couches and little nooks to get some alone time space. The hosts were amazing and proactive and we’ll certainly be back!

Loved our stay! We love when an Airbnb has character and we felt like we were in someone’s home, in the best way. As others have noted, the kitchen is very well appointed (though there is great food everywhere in this fantastic location). Beds are so cozy, loved the sauna, and greatly appreciated the parking spot. Sally was a great host!

We rented Sally's house for a family reunion, with family coming from overseas. Overall, the place was great for our purposes. The house was very tidy and clean, supplied with everything we expected. Also, Sally set the house up with details that made us feel quite welcome. From the beginning, Sally was friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were private, two of them with their own bathrooms and decks. We spent most of the time in the lounge and kitchen on the third floor, where we also had decks with great views. Big TV screen, cable and other entertainments. I would strongly recommend it.

Very stylish accommodation with great views over Wellington. Chris and his dog Al make it easy to feel comfortable. Very recommendable, we would book here again at any time.

Alexandra and Matt are very welcoming, as their house and their garden, also Frankie the cat. For us this wonderful place was the perfect start for our new zealand round trip. Great location, handy to Botanic Gardens, local shops, central city and great access to motorway out of town and to airport. Drive on access with parking was very helpful. Sunny in the mornings and good heating when the weather turned cold. Kitchen very well supplied with everything that you need.

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

Very accurate description on the listing of what it was like to stay with Allie in Wadestown. I was there for a fortnight and became adjusted to the routines yet felt very undisturbed. It really suited my requirements at the time.

We had a fantastic stay at Wei’s place! The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. Communication with Wei was seamless—quick responses and very accommodating to any questions we had. Everything about our stay was excellent, and we felt right at home. Good to be back down the Ferry after 10 years , "the wanderer" is a beautiful place , very welcoming, homely and all you need for a stay away from home! Lew's hospitality was next to none ,delivering fresh flounders on 2 occasions to feed our army . Much appreciated, will definitely be back oneday 🙏
