Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Louisiana

This was hands down the greatest trip we’ve ever taken. We brought our 78 year old uncle, a lifelong fishing enthusiast, to Bayou Life to celebrate his birthday, and watching his joy every single day made this experience absolutely priceless. First off, the home is stunning. The pictures don’t come close to capturing how beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked it is. It had everything we could possibly need, and more. Mornings with coffee on either of the two upper balconies were pure serenity. Evenings watching the sun melt into the river with a glass of wine or bourbon (yes, we had both) while pulling in fresh crabs from the five traps off your private dock, it was like something out of a movie. If that was the final scene of my life, I’d go!Morgan, the host, the legend. Most connected man in Louisiana. He had crab traps set, shrimp waiting helped arrange fish charter that pick up from the dock and crab tour. Same dock we caught several black drum over 30 lbs and monster catfish!

Amazing stay! Gary’s house exceeded expectations and my family loved it. Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice. Gorgeous, unique, spacious house full of New Orleans character and the backyard is a true oasis. We spent most of the time in the pool and hot tub. It’s obvious what an incredible amount of love and time went into creating this property! The location off of Magazine St. couldn’t be better. Shopping/food/drinks all within minutes, grocery store at the end of the block, we didn’t even use the car. So close to action yet the house felt quiet and secluded. Perfect, couldn’t ask for more! 100/10, can’t wait to stay again!

I loved everything about this place!! This loft was the BEST!! It was very clean and spotless, the loft even smelled clean, the artwork was absolutely fantastic and enjoyable to look at, the backyard felt like a botanical garden, the plants were amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable!! 20/10 recommend!!

Janice's Airbnb is beautiful, one of my favorite stays ever. It's roomy, comfortable, and well cooled for hot/humid days. More than that, Janice goes over and above to make you feel at home. The apartment has everything you need, and I appreciate the water bottles and snacks Janice gave to us. Loved it, will stay again.

Shayla was a superb host! Very responsive. Any questions we had she answered right away. We had some travel issues getting there but she worked with us and got us taken care of and checked in quickly. When we first got there we had a few issues but Shayla jumped in quickly and resolved them all. The kids had a great time with all the games, they loved playing in the pool in the yard, and loved the projector for their movies. The light all around tue house was fun and cool as well. Will definitely visit again.

This was truly the best place we could have found. My sister came into New Orleans and finally agreed to go on a fun road trip. I found Amy's place because it was close to the Tabasco factory and Avery island. and many other wonderful things. The listed description was spot on. She welcomed my 2 dogs and has the most beautiful run for them. The pool was fantastic but the jacuzzi was a piece of heaven. I have seen other reviews about a window next to it and lack of privacy., but I will completely disagree with that. we really never wanted to leave. 100% recommend!!!💜💜💜 Amy is one of the best hosts we have ever had. Oh and by the way ALL instructions directions and rules are CLEARLY stated. Truly an amazing experience.

What an *absolute gem* of an Airbnb! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the vibrant colors and the stunning artwork—every corner is filled with personality and joy! The host has truly thought of *everything*—the kitchen and bathroom are stocked with every item you could possibly need (and even things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them!). We were greeted with cold sodas, cozy vibes, and a space that felt both homey and inspiring. You can tell so much love and care went into creating this space. Plus, the host is an absolute sweetheart—so kind, welcoming, and attentive. Truly a 10/10 stay. Don’t forget to sign the guest book before you leave—it’s just one more charming detail that makes this place so special!
