House vacation rentals in Louisa County

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property on Lake Anna. We had 4 young children and 3 adults for our trip. We had plenty of space in the home, and the beach area was perfect for our children to swim. In addition to swimming off the beach, we enjoyed boating, tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was so nice to have kayaks and paddle boards included on the property. When we weren’t outside we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Evenings were spent down on the dock with a drink watching the sun go down on comfortable chairs. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area as well. We ate at four different restaurants. Had no problem stocking up groceries at Food Lion and grabbing a few things when needed from Dollar General. The surrounding wildlife was big plus. We saw some cool birds and saw deer going across the property at dusk. It was our first trip to Lake Anna but won’t be our last.

I suprised my fiancee with a birthday getaway with all of his friends here at Lake Anna. We had such an amazing time and everything was perfect! The area is so quiet and peaceful and such a beautiful sight. The house was PERFECT! Everything was clean, the blankets were plentiful and smelled clean. We had a group of 9 and everyone fit perfect. Supplies were stocked and Daniel was super responsive to all of my questions. We LOVED the hot tub overlooking the beautiful views of the lake. 10/10 amazing weekend and me & fiancee will surely be back to enjoy solo quality time :)

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

Such a lovely gem of a home! It was the perfect size for our large group of friends, and full of activities. Everything was in pristine shape, and the private dock is somehow even easier to access than I expected — just a single set of steps down, and you pass the cute and secluded fire pit along the way. Other highlights include the (multiple!!) basketball hoop arcade setups, and the movie theater room is just as good as the photos convey. The front yard is huge, too, perfect for organized outdoor games like football and kickball. The only minus I have is super trivial: the TVs in the home all had HDMIs but we couldn’t locate AV/S-Video ports, so there was no way to hook up the Wii we’d brought (for additional games like Mario Kart). Big thanks to Daniel for a 5-star stay. We’re already chewing on returning to this exact spot.

Upon arrival at this house in Mineral, VA, we noticed the house's openness, beautiful décor, and thoughtful aesthetics, which reflected a perfect blend of comfort & style that immediately made us feel at ease. The house was clean & amenities well-stocked (as described) ensuring there were no unpleasant surprises. Bedrooms were comfortable; beds were cozy, allowing us to enjoy restful nights. The house layout was perfect for socializing for a large group & we comfortably hung out. The KITCHEN exceeded all expectations -equipped with various appliances, stainless steel pots, pans (& nonstick) & loads of small items – This level of stocking made meal prep enjoyable rather than a chore, helping us create lasting memories over shared meals. minor drawbacks— a few rooms were a bit chilly (extra blankets were readily available) & the hot water supply was somewhat limited – this was minimal compared to the overall enjoyment we experienced. Cathi's place was everything as described. The house was clean and the location was perfect for a remote getaway - far enough to enjoy peace and solitude, but within a few minutes drive to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The lake was close enough to walk (if you're up for it) or a close drive away. Cathi's house had everything you could possibly need as well - toiletries, spices and condiments for cooking, and even supplies to do laundry. The house was spacious enough for our family of four, and one dog, but felt very cozy and warm at the same time. I would definitely stay there again if we're in the area!

This was our second stay at The Ranch! The furnishing are lovely. The house is very clean and well stocked. I found the beds to be quite comfortable. The house is very well situated in Gordonsville. We will definitely stay again.

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

Kevin’s place was a great place The fenced yard was just what the pups needed The attention to detail as in coffee pod variety, great shower gel and big fluffy towels were so appreciated Would love to come back when we have more time and the water is warmer for trying out the kayaks

Sarah couldn’t have been a better host. She’s so nice, accommodating, and understanding. She had the place clean as a whistle and is very responsive. Lots of space, comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings. There are lots of bathrooms, too and privacy. She was the best!

My friends and I, with our small children, had an amazing and relaxing time at the house. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking as a group. The different lounging areas throughout the house were so comfortable to cozy up and relax with different activities. The hot tub was nice to relax in after the kids went to bed. It was super close to Lake Anna and was nice to hang out and walk on the trails. Justin was incredibly responsive and attentive to all our questions and requests. It was great and we are so excited to come back again.

Jay was an awesome host! Very responsive! Had a little problem that they fixed immediately. Great area, and a very spacious and clean house. Highly recommend!

I have to say, this house really set the bar for our kids. Great big house, two living room areas, four nice-sized bedrooms. The kids LOVED the games (arcade, shuffleboard) and the kitchen had lots of great extras (salt & pepper, etc). Our dog also had a blast, plenty of space to walk her in the backyard and down the street. We walked down to the Lake, which was available to us but not really a place to hang out. Highly recommend the thrift shops nearby (Plum Pickings, for one). Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful and comfortable place and a very communicative and nice host!

A modern and well maintained home. The kitchen was very well equipped. The furniture was attractive and in excellent condition. The TV and audio system was top notch. The deck was very large and divided with one half screened in. We had access to 2 of 3 bedrooms and very nice bathroom. The garage and basement were also locked up. The only extra I would like to have had was a high voltage outlet for RV/EV use. Overall an excellent place to relax!

Lester was extremely communicative and helpful during our stay. The house was beautiful and was an awesome space to entertain.

This was the perfect little stay for a few bridal party members while attending a friend’s wedding in Louisa. The property was beautiful and the house matched the description well. Mary was very kind and instructions were clear on how to care for the house. Thanks again!

We (2 adults + 2 dogs) went for Thanksgiving week; we basically had Lake Anna to ourselves -- minus 2 of Mary's wonderful neighbors. The expansive property has tons of room for dogs to run, and the two neighbors we met had friendly dogs. Humans will love the firepit, screened porch, comfy outdoor, furniture, TV, bbq grill & smoker. Inside, there's TONS of room. The beds are comfortable & bedrooms are spacious, plus there are 2 full baths (1 w/tub), and a beautiful "French country" kitchen with which my wife fell in love. The kitchen had everything you'd expect/need and more like tons of spices, plenty of boxed/canned foods, a waffle maker, a Keurig w/pods, etc. We remarked numerous times how wonderful it was to have all this at hand (compared to other places we've stayed). There are toys for kids and dogs, a canoe, plenty of board games, and several TVs. It was a perfect, peaceful, and stress-free stay in a wonderful home; we'd choose it again without hesitation. Tracy was very welcoming, informative and accommodating. She was very available if we had any concerns. We were planning a boat trip on the lake and she helped coordinate a boat rental that led to a lovely day on the water. Her mom is cozy and tidy and we felt very comfortable there.

Three couples stayed 3 nights for visits to wineries and UVa. We had more than enough space on the main floor and could have spread out even more in the huge lower level. The house was a great home base and we loved the convenience of cooking in as well as s'mores around the fire pit. We would absolutely rebook for our next visit.
