Had a great stay, cozy house, beautiful overlook of the lake, lots of amenities, great host!

We enjoyed our stay and have already reserved a trip in 2025.

We had an incredible stay at Adam's! Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of—from the coffee waiting for us on our first morning to the well-stocked kitchen with everything we could possibly need. The place was spotless and had a cozy, homey feel. They even provided books, games, and all the little touches that made our stay perfect!

The cabin was exactly what the wife and I were looking for. Quiet, clean and secluded. We loved the sun room and screened porch to avoid the bugs. The grill was a welcomed addition. We would definitely come back. Wonderful place. Also a great place for our dog. Very pet friendly and clean considering. 10/10

What a cozy, comfy spot to enjoy steamy coffee on the beautiful screened in deck porch overlooking lake, fish from the dock or enjoy a bonfire at sunset on a private little beach! Quiet, clean and relaxing- a perfect getaway! We left an item at The Boathouse and Rob had it in the mail the same day! We look forward to a return visit!

had a wonderful stay at Colleen's place ! we have a autistic adult son and he felt right at home. Colleen even had a basket of treats for him that he loved. we where there in November so couldn't enjoy the lake but we plan on staying in the summer ! thank you so much Colleen.

Had so much fun! The cabin was spotless and so well kept with lots of attention to detail. We caught many giant northern and a Muskie!!! Had a campfire and took the paddle boat out. Was perfect relaxing MEA weekend. thank you!!! Only things to mention…didn’t realize train was so close and would go by so often. Also didn’t realize the two twin beds were in open loft area and not in own bedroom.

This was a really special trip. We booked last minute after finding out my dad passed away and it was the perfect place to start healing. This cabin is adorable and has an incredible view. We were able to get a really beautiful view of the northern lights one night and we had beautiful sunsets everyday. There aren’t too many restaurants or things to do close by, which was what we were looking for, but just something to keep in mind. Although we didn’t bring our dogs, this was a very dog friendly rental. They had dog toys, bowls, and baggies. It’s a really sweet place and I hope we can come back. We did have some minor issues when we first arrived, but the owner was super responsive and very nice. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Horseshoe Lake. Beach area was amazing. Janeen kindly met us at check in to give us a tour of the house. She was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was exceptional! I would not have one negative thing to say. The pictures are beautiful, but to see it in person it actually exceeds expectations. Plenty of room for our family, great location and beautiful private yard. The family loved the huge fire pit and hot tub. They found fun yard games in the pull barn also. The cabin was so clean and had so many fun little touches. We enjoyed watching movies on the big comfy couches. The kitchen was well stocked. The owners were fast to respond with any questions we had. We did not want to leave this peaceful place!

The Nest was perfect for six of us to spend a weekend in a natural and peaceful setting at the lake. We would definitely stay here again, there a few kayaks and a couple of canoes, too.

Such a beautiful and cozy place for a winter getaway. We loved our time here and have already recommended it to family! Felt private and peaceful. Our only complaint is with a high cleaning fee, I felt we had to do quite a bit of cleaning per checkout instructions (all dishes cleaned and put away, take out all garbage bags and place in dumpster, strip all beds etc.) With a smaller fee it would be more understandable to have guests do some cleaning on their own. The stay itself was wonderful and we had everything we needed there! Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here in the winter and had a wonderful time. It looks like it would be a blast in the summer. The place is large and because we were there in the winter we did have to increase the heat and would encourage slippers 😊

We had such an amazing stay at Evan and Annie's cabin! It was like something out of a movie-- the cabin was all pristine and decked out for the holidays, the kitchen was well-stocked with every possible form of equipment, the hot tub and the sauna were so nice. It really felt like staying in the lap of luxury. We will definitely be visiting again! Next time, in the summer! Thank you so much for hosting our cozy friend get away.

Tom is a very responsive host. The cabin was very comfortable and beautifully renovated. The views of Partridge Lake were beautiful from every window. There are a couple towns not far to explore.

We stayed at Brian's cabin for our family Thanksgiving. The cabin is located on beautiful Lake Mille Lacs and met our expectations. The kitchen and appliances were perfect for preparing our Thanksgiving dinner, and the living space was suitable for the five of us and our dog. Some highlights include the sauna, fireplace, and the lakeview. We would highly recommend Brian's property for your airbnb getaway.

We had a wonderful week stay at Sandy’s place! The screen porch was the perfect place to hang out and listen to the waves. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The electric fireplace in the living room and the light strip was a nice touch! We would love to come back in the summer to get the full experience!

This is a great no frills lake retreat. The view of the lake in the PM is gorgeous. Good fishing, easy to use boat lift. Cozy lil cabin with good linens. Would recommend! Christy is a great host, kind and responsive. We’ll be back!

The place was beautiful, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed the kayaks and loved the fire pit. My grandkids love the toy/game closet and we played several games. We left saying we would definitely come back. Thank you Aaron!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was so cozy and we loved the wood burning stove. The cabin is tucked back in the woods and is very private which we loved. We definitely would like to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake as well!

It was a surprise weekend getaway for my fiance's birthday. The privacy fence and backyard were perfect for the dogs! the beds, linens and blankets were super comfortable! Location was great! We were able to visit other small towns. Would definitely come back for another long weekend!

This place is amazing. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoors and loved the fire pit by the river. We felt right at home. The hosts were very responsive and friendly!

Really a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone looking to visit the Cuyuna Lakes/Brainerd area. Less "cabin" and more "lake home" Sharon has thought of every detail - extra hooks in bedrooms for towels and clothes, s'mores ingredients and roasting tools in the kitchen, easy to use Apple TV with subscription services, puzzles and toys for adults and kids. We felt so at home here! Additionally the property and lake are beautiful; we visited in Oct so the leaves were changing. The location is just 10-20 min from restaurants and biking. I have a feeling we will be back next year!

Jennifer is a wonderful host. The few messages I did have to send were responded to promptly. My kids loved all the colorful pillows. The cabin was absolutely beautiful & we are hoping to visit again in the future!
