Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Long Melford

Me hubby and youngest teen just back from a lovely long weekend here.. gorgeous apartment, stones throw from beach, pier, shops, restaurants etc. free parking too! what more could you ask for? Mark our host was great and super responsive, highly recommend. the only feedback would be a bigger bed in the amazing master bedroom would be perfect! Thanks for a great stay Mark!

We have stayed at the Bluedog Quarters various times over several years now. Without any hesitation, I would highly recommend a stay here. More especially, those wishing to escape the everyday stresses of city life or perhaps when touring around East Anglia in particular. The locals are friendly and indeed welcoming, there’s often a street market or the nearby Clare village hall holds antique or craft fairs - certainly worth a check their website for details. There’s also a short walk to Clare Castle & Country Park, which has undergone extensive restoration works, great for walks along the River Stour and local countryside. This still remains a must visit location to discover rural communities and what true relaxation means to both body and mind.

Lovely space, extremely well equipped, and fantastic location! Had a great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

A really nice and spacious apartment. Close to city centre; surrounded by trees so really private. Harry was always hugely responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

This is a lovely Airbnb, very well situated and closer to the centre than we thought it was going to be. Very clean, well equipped and furnished very nicely. The bed is comfortable and the shower is lovely. Andrew and Edwina were very clear in their directions and very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, well provisioned and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and it was in walking distance to the centre of Cambridge along the beautiful River Cam. Rebecca was super responsive and friendly and left detailed instructions for the apartment, as well as recommendations. Would highly recommend this place for travellers.

We stayed at Sarah’s place for 6 nights and had an amazing time. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, the home is walking distance from “downtown” and less than 200M from a beautiful Sainsburys grocery store. The gardens were very peaceful and tranquil, an absolute joy to look out at. We were initially booked in the basement suite but the garden studio was available on arrival and Sarah gave us the option to change, which we did. She was very gracious and welcoming, provided sundries in the fridge, croissants, granola and other basic groceries for us on arrival. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

A lovely spot for a weekend by the seaside. Walking distance to both the high street and the beach. Plenty of outside space and all the toys in the world for the kids to play with. Will certainly be back!

A great place to stay in Cambridge!

Lovely property - small but sweet. The grounds are fantastic - definitely get out for a walk in your boots. It might be a little hard to spot if you're arriving in the dark, so make sure you read the pre-check-in instructions thoroughly. Be prepared to go outside to meet any delivery drivers should you need them. The kitchen is small but plenty of space - there could be a few more bits and bobs in there, but unless you're planning on cooking a full roast (which we attempted!) then you should be fine. Beds all very comfy, the living room chairs are fabulously cozy as well. Glad we had a nice early Xmas break here!

Quiet and peaceful and location, in walking distance of shops and town. Very easy to travel into Thetford forest. Clear instructions, communication and a good range of amenities for use in the house. Note just one loo roll supplied, so may need to bring extra. House was set to comfortable temperatures for night and day, thermostat easy to adjust as needed (did have slight issue with boiler faulting out but reported this so should be fixed for future guests :)

Exactly as advertised, very spacious, clean and comfortable. A perfect retreat from everyday stresses and a perfect position within the town. Located on a quiet street with private parking, which was a real bonus. Walking distance to pubs, shops, restaurants and cinema. Lovely local walks. Whats not to like. Highly recommended for a quaint town stay.

I had a great stay here. The place is comfortable and clean. I like you can reach the center after a brief strawl, and is next to a large test Tesco. Only two small comments are that there is some fungus in the shower and the pillows were too small and a tad uncomfy.

Felicity is a kind person and attentive to the needs of the guest. Location: comfortable environment and everything you need is present. Taking a pleasant walk you immediately arrive at the centre of the town.

I have stayed at Andrea’s place before and this time was just as good as the last time. But better. She added little things like plugs with usb (in case you forgot), milk, bottled water, coffee. All these little things added to the way the whole apartment was, and how comfortable you felt when there. Like your second home.

great apartment close to the train station, enough space for 4 people with a big living room. the two bathrooms were nice and the flat had everything we needed. comfy bed and clean. unfortunately the windows weren‘t super tight, but that‘s somehow normal in the UK… communication was fast and friendly and the host even provided a baby cot upon request. thanks a lot!

Lovely and spacious flat, perfect for our stay in Colchester. Tony was a great host - we had everything we needed provided, he communicated well and it was great to have parking provided.

Julie's flat was absolutely perfect! We stayed for 2 nights and couldn't have chosen aywhere better in Ely. The flat was extremely clean, really well equipped, comfortable, cosy and spacious. Julie really has thought of everything - from the welcome pack left in the kitchen, milk in the fridge, cereals, croissants and scones to the fresh flowers in the lounge. Loved the basket of 'things you may have forgotten' and the toiletries in the bathroom (just in case we'd forgotten those too). Loads of storage for clothes, cases etc and the bed was super comfy - in fact we slept for 10 hours one night!! Location is amazing - free parking is a bonus and we didn't use the car all weekend. Short walk to the riverside with lovely pub and places to eat and just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Ely, which is so lovely we didn't even bother with our planned trip to Cambridge. Julie's communication was fab and being met early by Romano was lovely. Deserving of more than 5 stars. Thanks so much. x

My mother, brother and I were back in Bury for a few days for a pre-christmas family gathering. The flat served us really well - central, comfortable and well equipped. The bed linen and towels were lovely. Excellent quality. All instructions were clear. The lift was helpful as my mother cannot clinb stairs anymore and the off street parking and central location were a godsend.
