Tiny house vacation rentals in Long Island

This home is a charming historic gem. We were in town helping my parents move and it was perfectly situated close by on easily accessible roads while still providing privacy and quiet. The home is well appointed with everything you need. Comfy bed and crisp, clean linens and towels. Whether you plan to go in NYC or just visit the surrounding area, this is a great home. Highly recommend.

The room is located in a beautiful place, surrounded by woods and a tiny pond. Note that there are two windows that only have a net, so if the weather is on the colder side you will need to bring your sleeping bags. Also, they have a Forest school running on the premises, if you are looking for a quiet gate away - this might not be a perfect fit for you.

What a pleasure. Jessica has a really special place and it was a perfect location for us. Very private and cozy, we could come and go all we wanted and didn't feel limited. The horses were a great addition and we got to know them. I would definitely stay here again and feel we made a friend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this peaceful cottage. I enjoyed sipping my coffee looking at the view of the cove from the deck and the bird watching from the screen porch was a delight. The bed was comfortable and Gail stocked the kitchen with drinks and snacks! Gail's house is next door but the layout of the deck and screen porch offers great privacy. A perfect place to get away from it all and relax in nature.

My stay here has been made so comfortable, the local was perfect for my stay. Quiet and all supplies provided for our stay. Micaela is very responsive and I’m grateful to have found this cozy location right here in West Orange. Close to supermarkets, jitney to the train, movie theater, turtle back zoo and more. A great getaway for anyone who needs a break or home for a few weeks. Thank you Micaela.

My husband and I had a great stay. James and Rose are super helpful hosts. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Walking distance to a lovely park they recommended with tons of hiking trails and very quiet.

We had an awesome stay at Ron’s place! Although it was a cold, rainy weekend in April, we made the most of it. Ron suggested we bring a duraflame log for the fireplace and it really cozied up the place. We still got to enjoy walks on the beach and our dog had the best time running in the sand. We would love to come back!

We loved staying at Ann’s place. Exactly like the photos, very close to Sag Harbor and the beach. The cottage has everything you would ever need! We would love to stay again in the future.

The Central Hamptons Guesthouse was a wonderful stay - it's a great location and a really charming house. Michael was a very communicative host, and overall it was a seamless, easy, relaxing weekend.

Hi! The house was cute and convenient for our purposes. We were on a tight schedule so could not be there when the utilities could be explained to us which put us at an extreme disadvantage. It's a cute place to get away. Thanks for your hospitality.

Erin’s home was a tranquil getaway for us situated and the most darling river and dam. It was warm and cozy and Erin was incredibly attentive and responsive.

So many pros! -It all is idyllic. Property, trails, and cottage. -Super rustic yet modern enough to be comfortable. The hard wood floors and walls are beautiful, and the giant fireplace is glorious. They have plenty of quality aged firewood, kindling, and matches. -I slept so well on the bed so great mattress, pillows, and bedding. -Nice big tv -Plenty of teas, coffees, hot cocoas -Plenty of cookware Minor considerations: -There is no bath tub. Hopefully they’ve changed the listing now, but that was a bummer for me. It has a very nice walk in shower though. -If you are looking to be isolated from people, this may not be the place for you. The cottage is about 75 yards away from a main house, and you are about 10 yards away from a multiple car garage with a long term rental unit above it. Everyone is super friendly so there are no complaints, just know you are not isolated. -The boiler, below the cottage, is cinematic in its sounds. As if the house is alive.

I had a nice, overnight stay at Marie's place. All was as described and the instructions for everything were spot on. Comfortable & convenient stay, would visit again!

Andrew and Kenneth were excellent hosts. Some of the most professional, responsive and attentive I have experienced. The home is cozy, and the space is really well used and appointed. Some of the appliances are a bit quirky -- like the washer/dryer, which isn't very effective; and the stove/oven which the hosts are aware needs some repairs. The location is lovely. Be prepared to listen to the ducks on the lake. They can be loud even during the night. The outdoor shower was the icing on the cake for me. I nearly stayed longer, except I had another opportunity overseas.

We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

We loved Maureen’s place and Greenwood Lake. The studio was perfect. It was extremely clean, easy to check-in, and in a great location. Maureen and her family were super nice and the area is beautiful. Kayaks were available on the lake and the center of town is a short walk. There are lots of restaurants and a few great coffee shops. We would love to stay at Maureen’s place again!

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. A restored barn-turned-guesthouse that’s peaceful, cozy, and tucked into nature, with thoughtful, artistic touches and its own little kitchen. As someone local to the area, I can say the location is perfect—quiet and calming, but close to Mt. Kisco’s best spots (coffee, bookstores, restaurants, a charming movie theater), plus great hikes and the train into the city. The bathroom was super clean and stocked with natural products, and the whole space feels intentionally designed—from furniture placement to the trees outside. You’ll wake up to birdsong, maybe spot a deer or two, and feel like you’re part of the landscape. Nina is a warm, grounded host who clearly cares about the experience—and she's refreshingly fair about the cleaning fee. A rare stay that feels both creatively inspiring and deeply restful. Would absolutely come back.

The home was perfect. Small and well equipped for many things you seek on vacation, business trips, and an overall home away from home. Peter was a great host with lots of options without spending money. Directions were clear!

Perfect getaway in Shelter Island! The pool house is as amazing as it looks in the listing :) Cute house on a beautiful, peaceful and very private green lot. Primael was very welcoming and responsive. She was also very flexible in terms of our check in and check out. Everything went super smoothly. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
