Beautiful modern penthose villa apartment located at beach front Villas del Mar Beach Resort complex, with views to the ocean from almost every angle. Conveniently located just 25 min. from San Juan Int. Airport with two swimming pools, jacuzzi and beach access among other amenities. Our beach is an small beach but enjoyable with private access and usually used only for residents and guest of our complex. A great place to relax and to enjoy your vacation.

Rafael’s place was a very quiet and peaceful stay. All you hear is the ocean nearby which we loved. I would definitely recommend renting a car since you can’t really walk anywhere nearby. The bed was comfortable and the place was nice it matched the pictures. This Airbnb is not located in a touristy area so it was a big change for us coming from another Airbnb in Isla verde. Overall I would recommend this place for a more private stay in PR.

This is a beautiful place to bring your family. The location is wonderful and near both a large pool and the beach. The amenities make it an easy stay. There are lots of beach towels in addition to the bath towels, in unit washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and the roof top patio is amazing! Bring your family here and have a great time!

We had a comfortable stay, and the host was very nice and responsive. Just a small suggestion — the guest bathroom door lock could use fixing, and it would be helpful to have some mugs and plates. Not a big deal since we managed with disposables. I’m confident the host will address it, as they were very receptive to feedback. Overall, it was a great stay, and the terrace deserves a special mention — it was a lovely spot to hang out. We didn’t use the grill, but we really enjoyed spending time on the terrace. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our time there. We stayed a week and had four older teenagers with us. Having the second living room was very helpful. Much of the week it was quiet. Never an issue getting a lounge chair at the pool. The beach was very private and calm for morning walks. We rented a car and ventured to Luquillo and Rio Grande for dinner. We did a snorkeling boat trip in Fajardo. Everything was 20-40 minutes away (dependent on traffic) but the drive was more than doable. Walmart was close for groceries and supplies. We had no issues with our stay and would go back again!

Wow where can I begin from the beginning of the booking to the end nothing but amazing. Host was very responsive, friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely made us feel like at home no doubt. Everything was even more beautiful in person. Definitely booking again once we are back in Puerto Rico. Thanks again for being so amazing and for the early check in and late check out. The place was as advertised! We loved the location: driving distance from San Juan and El Yucatán. The private beach was awesome (which you can see out the window). While parts of the complex need some touch ups, our girls loved the pool (and really enjoyed the slide on the weekend). This is a great spot for the price!

We had a great stay. Aquátika is quiet by resort standards and the condo was beautifully updated. Plenty of space, very well stocked and furnished. The pool areas are plentiful. Only downside when we were there was the lazy river was drained and being repaired. That still leaves 4 or 5 other pools though! There is a basketball court and large tennis / pickleball courts that have lights. Really useful!

Rafael’s place was perfect for our party of 5, with ages ranging from 13 to 81. It was just as described/pictured and had everything we needed and more. Rafael was so responsive. The beds were comfortable (my husband and I had the firm bed and my mom had the soft one) and the single beds worked out great for the two teen boys. The grounds were lovely with so much to do, despite the lazy river being closed. As others have mentioned, there is not much right around Aquatika so having a car was super helpful. We took a local tour west of San Juan one day, did the bioluminescent kayak trip in Fajardo, snorkeled with sea turtles, explored Old San Juan, hiked in the rainforest, and my husband and older son played golf twice. It was an incredible trip and we are so grateful we had such a nice home base. The pools and beach were great. There are a lot of wild cats and dogs around but they didn’t bother us. I highly recommend Rafael’s place. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

BEST Aquatika penthouse: beachfront 8 beds 5 rooms

Peter was extremely friendly and responsive host that provided plenty of communication and tips. The condo has a great view of the ocean and plenty of space inside and out. The upstairs space helped us spread out. The condo was outfitted with all of the things you need for your stay including beach items and full face mask gear that made it possible for our daughter to enjoy our snorkeling trip. Peter provided tips on traveling from the airport, grocery stores, and excursions. He helped with extra research beyond what he provides. Lots of great places are within a short drive, making staying outside of a San Juan the perfect fit for us. El Yunque, Luquillo Beach & kiosks, and Fajardo are easy drives. The coastal drive back to San Juan had beautiful beaches. The Aquatika resort itself is very clean. The pools were open late and just a short walk away. Security does regular walks and bike rides throughout the resort; we had a nice chat with one guard; we felt extreme safe at Aquatika.
