Bungalow vacation rentals in Loch Ness

Looking forward to next visit, a little piece of paradise. Stay in and cater for yourself or go to the local pub. The shop can deliver supplies, but I like to go in as staff are lovely. So much to see and do and the Glenelg ferry is a must over to Skye. Bruce has earned his Superhost status a million times over.

We had such an enjoyable stay here. Bridget was a wonderful host and she kept us up to date with travel disruptions before we left. The accommodation was very clean, well equipped, comfortable and warm. The homemade lemon drizzle cake and marmalade were delicious. Lots of other little thoughtful touches like shopping bags and umbrellas. We loved the location and enjoyed early morning walks on the beach with the dog straight from the cottage and exploring the surrounding areas of Glencoe fort William, Appin and Oban in the afternoon. There was nothing better than cosying up in front of the fire on the evenings. We were very sad to leave at the end of our stay.

Steve was the perfect host, served a great breakfast looking across a beautiful view. He was helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to eat.

This house was in a stunning location. Fit 8 of us very comfortably. Love that we all had our own bathrooms. Bathtub was awesome! Beds were all extremely comfortable. Fresh sheets and towels. I’ve given 5 stars for everything but there were a few things I think could be improved just in light of paying 900+ for two nights. There was a smell in the fridge when we arrived, shower head was broken in one of our rooms, there were some dirty dishes in the kitchen but maybe to do with dishwasher as we found it didn’t wash dishes very well? I know it seems pedantic but curtains were hanging off in the living room, mould on the ceilings and quite a few old looking spiders/webs. I know it’s rural but they looked like they’d been there a while. These complaints were minor and didn’t impact a fabulous stay. I just feel like combined they were worth mentioning as they are easy to fix for the next guest. Would stay here again definitely. Loved having our own wee beach.

The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They went above and beyond by providing essentials like baby diapers, daily essentials and all the basic food items to prepare meals. There were also great entertainment options, making it an enjoyable experience for the whole family. We couldn't find the parking as it was dark but the host was very responsive and helped us right away. Highly recommend!

We have a 3 year old granddaughter and have stayed in hotels before. This was definitely better for us as a family. We put her to bed. We then relaxed and enjoyed each other's company in the lounge. There were even games and DVDs to watch and a booster chair for our granddaughter so she could sit comfortably with us at the table. We will definitely stay again.

We had a brilliant weekend at Hamish‘s cottage. The best weather in a long time. The cottage has beautiful views and is super cosy and well-equipped. Anything you need is there. We were really impressed by the eco-friendly setup. We will definitely be back.

Stayed with Elizabeth for a couple of days due to a hospital appointment in Inverness. Elizabeth's place was perfect! just 20 minutes from Inverness centre, but super peaceful in gorgeous grounds...with an amazing collection of rare breed chickens and geece and Bengal kittens. Elizabeth clearly wants her guests to have the best stay and goes above and beyond to make that happen. Certain we will be back 😊

Archie's place, The Poplars, is a wonderfully located house to explore places around Inverness. Archie was a very caring and responsive host. Felt right at home during our stay. The place was very evidently well-looked after and cared for. The conservatory is an amazing area to lounge in after a long day of sight seeing and well insulated to brave the highland weather. We would definitely hope to stay with Archie when we visit again. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes across this review while looking at the listing as well as friends and family.

Very relaxing stay at this amazing lodge with breathtaking views. The lodge is easy to find, private, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Ishbel and Angus were fantastic hosts! We loved are still and will hopefully be back!

Delighted to have discovered this wee gem of a place. The perfect base for the weekend to get out in the mountains. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and a really lovely welcome basket of goodies. Hope to be back some time.
