Was relaxed and felt welcome as soon as we walked through the door. on opening the blinds as we entered we were blown away by the location, outlook and how snug it was. It exceeded our expectations and was a beautiful base to check out the fab island. We'll be back. Thanks Sabine.

Great location and views. Flinders is a stunning place and this was a great base to enjoy everything the island has to offer.

What an amazing place. The pictures do not do it justice. So majestic and beautiful. We throughly enjoyed our week here. We had beautiful sunshine all week and only a couple of windy days. Trousers beach (which is a short walk) is an amazing beach with the clearest/bluest water. There are stunning beaches all over the island. Water temps went between 18 to 23 degrees in different places around the island. We climbed Mt Strzelecki (which starts a short distance from the house). It is a shorter but pretty and intense hike with amazing views from the top. We scuba dived and would highly recommend it, amazing soft corrals and swim throughs, plenty of fish. The missing goose is also a great place for a meal. Something to be aware of is that we arrived on the 5pm flight on Sunday, if you do the same, I would recommend going straight to Whitemark for a meal as the last places shut at 8pm. Finally, the Wombats and Wallibies, they came out every evening and were sooo numbeous and so lovely.

A home away from home! We felt at home from the moment we walked in. The pantry & kitchen are well stocked, which enabled us to be completely self sufficient for our week long stay. The gardens and surrounds are beautiful & peaceful...just what we needed to relax & unwind with our dogs who were welcome to stay. We highly recommend Liz's place.
