We had a wonderful couples getaway at Jean and Meg's Chalet! It was a peaceful, and super quiet spot. We loved the wood stove during the cold nights, and the hot tub during sunset was beautiful! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy cabin! The visits from the dog and cat were an added bonus 😊

This was my second time staying at the Shanty and I will definitely be back. The host, Odette, is wonderful. Very responsive and helpful. The Shanty has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Shane’s Cabane d’Horizon is a dream escape- even in the dead of winter. The space is so thoughtfully designed and organized, it is clear he is the best at what he does. We had everything we could ever need right there waiting for us. From the custom cribbage board to the robes for the hot tub- this was better than any hotel experience we could or would have had anywhere else. The landscape and views were incredible, and we loved being right in the heart of the community- with so much privacy! We also loved the proximity to so many sights and experiences- including Church Point, Digby and Anapolis Royal. We never felt isolated by the rural nature of the venue- and were charmed by the local culture and amenities. We loved it so much we booked it again before even checking out. 10/10!

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could imagine. Absolutely nothing was missing. It was like being in your own home but far away. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this lovely Air B n B!
