If you're traveling to Belgium, I highly suggest Veronique's cottage! The 5 minute walk to the Rhode-St-Genese train station is no exaggeration; we were able to take day trips to Antwerp, Gent, Leuven, Brussels (almost daily, only 20 minutes) and Namur from this location, and the train rides were at most 1.5 hours. The cottage itself is just like the photos, and it amazed us how peaceful it was while being in a suburban area. For comparison, our home is located in rural central US, and sleeping in this AirBnB was more peaceful (haven't slept this well in a while!). Veronique was very accommodating and had great restaurant and sight-seeing locations for both near the cottage as well as throughout Belgium, and even offered to pickup any groceries we might have needed. There was more than enough space for two of us, including bicycles that we brought indoors at night. This trip was amazing, I'm happy to be home, but was sad to leave. Amazing location, you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed our stay, the place feels like a museum and very unique. The host has shared many very helpful things to do and place to eat.
