Vacation rentals with lake access in Lincoln County

Lulu's landing is a sweet spot! Beautifully & tastefully curated. Jody has thoughtfully anticipated guests needs. The house is immaculate and the views and lake access are stellar. We were here at off season so it was too cold to enjoy the stunning outside spaces but we hope to return to do so!

Dear Robert and Charleen, Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The Bird House is truly a gem, and you are blessed to own it. The pictures on Airbnb do not do the house justice. As I entered on Wednesday, my breath was taken away; the views of the lake and natural light filled every room. The beauty of the natural surroundings, together with the well-thought-out interior design and appointments, made our experience one to remember. My mother and I truly had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving. You had very clear notes regarding how to work everything (the blinds). Clearly, a lot of thought was put into what would make guests comfortable (lap blankets and a variety of lighting with dimmers), and all of the items one would use at home were in the kitchen, enabling us not to have one worry during our stay. We hope to return during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors.

We all had a great time. Was spacious for us and a beautiful location. Had pretty much everything we could have needed. Plenty of appliances and cooking utensils and such. Loved having the game room separate from the main living space. The view was spectacular. A downside was that the bathrooms with showers were connected to their respective rooms and two bedrooms didn’t have, so those that stayed in those rooms had to ask to borrow and go through someone else’s room. Not a big deal though, just something to be aware of. Overall, it was an amazing stay. Would definitely recommend.

This house is simply amazing, tucked away in a great location with awesome views. Wendy sent very detailed instructions and the house has a fully stocked kitchen and amenities, with everything working perfectly. Could not recommend this place more!

Had a wonderful time, and the various levels perfectly suited my family. Had a few great rounds on the pool table, too. Highly recommended!

Julie was such a great host and this property was truly beautiful! The place looks just like the picture and was even more spacious than I expected! This property easily accommodated my group. Julie was very responsive and made sure to give us updates on an issue out of her control. Will be booking again! We’ve already started planning our next trip.

My husband and I had a great stay at the LakeLife Retreat- our hosts Sherry and Dan were friendly and had many great recommendations for our stay. The co-hosts Sandy and Luna were also friendly and delightful to visit with. My husband enjoyed fishing off the boat dock. The grounds were beautiful and the retreat was cozy, clean, and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless and beautifully set up, making it feel like a home away from home. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long day. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from the essentials to thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Great weekend spent at Lore’s place. Pictures do not do it justice. Better than we expected. Very clean and everything you would need. The design of inside was beautiful. Every detail Lore has covered and more than you need. Will definitely be back again. Kudos to a wonderful place.

The apartment is beautiful. We had a peaceful stay. I liked the big windows overlooking the lake. I enjoyed picnicking on the dock and kayaking around the cove.

Great condo, spacious and beautiful view on the lake. Perfect for our family size and near a great coffee shop.

Lisa and David were exceptional hosts. Lisa communicated with me many months prior to my father’s stay and was exceptionally kind. She went as far as to speak with me on the phone. The home was immaculate and the style was current with clean lines, plush pillows and was extremely inviting. The area in which the home is located is safe, quiet and private. Access to town (as my father cannot drive) was perfect walking distance to coffee shop, diner, restaurants, town green, library and the college campus. Perfect stay. Perfect hosts.

We absolutely loved this place! Stayed here with my family and in laws for thanksgiving. The place is stunning, just as shown in the pictures, very clean, and incredibly well stocked. They thought of literally every details. Hosts were also incredible responsive…we needed a step stool and they dropped off two options within 10 minutes. We will absolutely be back. We enjoyed our visit! The cottage was cozy and close to restaurants and Lake Norman. Mooresville Downtown was quaint and fun - definitely will try and make it out again soon!

Absolutely the BEST play to stay! We booked a 3-night stay for a weekend getaway. I found Sun-filled Lakefront Cottage Oasis by happenstance while looking for a retreat at Lake Norman. It was exactly what we had hoped for! A quiet, cozy, clean cottage on a beautiful property with breathtaking views of the lake. It's just a short drive into town with plenty of places to eat but also had a kitchen (very well stocked) so you could cook yourself and stay in (& why not with those views). The pier was great, and it had nice shade to sit and relax while reading a book, fishing, or just enjoying nature. The cottage was extremely comfortable overall with everything you could possibly need for a getaway. We loved that you have a lake view from all rooms of the cottage. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and gracious. I loved the recommendations as to what to see and where to eat in Sherrill’s Ford put together by the owner! Absolute perfection…We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our granddaughter’s 21st birthday! The house was exactly as described. It was extremely clean which is important. Zach responded when we needed to ask him a question. Renting the pontoon boat from Zach was an added plus for the day!

This was the best airbnb we have stayed! Andrea was very accommodating, very personable. It was awesome staying at a place that embraces having your dogs with you. We had a great stay there. We especially loved the deck and sitting outside at night. It was very quiet. Neighbors were friendly and respectful. We had difficulty figuring a few things out, but the host was very responsive.

The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The house was a close distance to the lake. It’s not on the water but the boat ramp is close by. We enjoyed the big round dining room table to play UNO with the kids. We enjoyed the Charlotte Whitewater Center that is about 30 minutes away. The house is a great location.

This is a lovely cozy cabin, great for a family for a long weekend. The kitchen is adequately stocked with the basic pots/pans and utensils for cooking. The yard, balconies, and docks are spacious and great for sitting outside. We saw deer and beaver. The front driveway gate makes the space feel private. The rooms are comfortable size. There is only one bathroom upstairs near the bedrooms but has double sinks (and lots of towels), which helped. Bring ear plugs for the insects and frogs that party all night. We would stay here again!
