5 Stars – Unforgettable Beachside Retreat! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Palm Beach Estates! Dirk was an exceptional host—always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The house is just steps from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. We especially loved the outdoor grill area—it was perfect for cooking up the fresh red snapper we got from the local fish truck. So delicious! The pool was a major highlight for our family. The colorful lights at night made it feel magical, and we spent many evenings playing Marco Polo with our girls—such great memories. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, with great access to local spots and the beach just around the corner. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything within Las Catalinas was a 4 minute walk from Trevelynn’s place. The Airbnb was clean, comfortable, and exactly how we expected. Trevelynn and TropicalHomes were very helpful in planning for our stay and very responsive once we arrived. We travelled with 2 kids 2 and under, and the town was perfect for us! Pool, splash pad, open space for the kids to move around while we waited for dinner! It was a dream! Plus, Trevelynn had 2 pack and plays available so we didn’t have to fly with them!

This is a beautiful condo that was well-appointed and spotless. Instructions were very clear and the guide in the condo suggested GREAT restaurants in the area. The clubhouse pool is amazing with a nice golf course view. Access to the beach club pools and beach are definitely one of the highlights. Amazing! Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun experience at Playa Conchal.

Ilya was super friendly and helpful. He met us at the gate for check-in and showed us around the unit and property. Everything was clean and easy to access. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and a couple min drive into downtown you can find a ton more. The beach is also within walking distance. It’s a calm beach with black sand. Not a lot around there but we had fun with our kids. This place is peaceful and relaxing and has great views of the ocean. Would recommend!

We had a phenomenal stay here! We had a private balcony, large airbnb and access to all the amenities (tennis, pickle ball, pool, ice plunge). We were a less than 5 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants. There was no noise and the AC was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again

Very quiet and accessible place!

Our family of 4 stayed here and it was perfect! Location was great, beach was walking distance, plenty of room and space, we felt safe, loved the pool. So happy we stayed here!

They respond very quickly and was a great help not to mention Evelyn, who is incredibly kind. The place is perfect and very clean. Close to everything. We had the casa to ourselves. I would highly recommend staying here.

Absolute paradise, literally steps from the ocean. Hearing the waves from the patio was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful view, Grocery Stores and everything you need is right at the bottom of the hill, we walked down the hill each day to venture to beach, shops and restaurants after our excursions we would call a taxi to drive us back up the hill taxi’s are easy to find usually parked near the grocery stores. We always got their personal phone numbers so we had rides and they knew where we were staying. We don’t speak Spanish and are not tech savvy) The pool was the icing on the cake, very refreshing after all the heat and sun . Too be honest we spent most of our time at the house with our groceries and drinks just swimming and relaxing because you cannot beat the view and the sunsets, we are definitely going to return . Thank you for having us!!!!

I stayed here with three friends for a girls’ trip, and we loved the outdoor living experience. The pool was amazing and felt very private. Overall, this was a great place to stay—we all agreed that the house made our trip even better. It was one of our favorite parts! Highly recommend!

Great spot right on the beach! Walkable to a lot of restaursnts and shops right in the middle of tamarindo. Host was very nice when checking in, and the place was spotless when we arrived.

Nice comfortable and clean place, right in the center of Playa Grande. There's everything in the house for a short and long stay. We recommand.

Gil and Bernie’s place at Pueblo Del Mar was great! Checkin was a breeze. The home was beautiful with everything we needed. Gil and Bernie were very responsive and answered any questions on the area that we needed help with. The unit is right across from the pool that our kids loved, and spent majority of their time in. Gil and Bernie had kids floaties for the pool and toys for the beach. This place is set up for a family of 4. Very clean, just like the pictures and the description. The air conditioners and fans worked well and kept the place cool in the hot Tamarindo weather. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and in a good location in Tamarindo, this is the place. We would book again when coming back to Tamarindo. Thanks for everything Gil and Bernie.

We had a great stay at Casa Tranquilla. Katherine and Willie were very responsive to our needs. The house was as described. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs under the shade by the pool. The wildlife was so fun -- we did see the monkeys pass by a few times. Like us, they seemed happy about the location. We stayed for 12 days, and I could work remotely during the week. The wifi in the house was strong enough for video calls. That said, Costa Rica has intermittent outages, and we experienced some brief loss of power and internet access a couple of times. It wasn't a surprise and didn't last long. If you haven't been to Costa Rica before, be aware that there aren't sidewalks in this area. The walk to town and the beach is along the roadside and on dirt trails. It's not a big deal and everything felt very close and safe, but it was helpful for us to know that going in. If you're looking for the beach, find the trail :) Thank you Katherine and Willie for the excellent stay!

Our stay was very enjoyable. The villa was spacious and the pool was outstanding. It was located very near restaurants in Brasalito and Flamingo as well as multiple beaches. We would definitely return here!

Very safe and private, you can really rest in the place. We loved the pool and the ranch, it's big and suitable for the whole family. The nearby river is beautiful, we didn't imagine it was so nice, it's a place to connect with nature and rest with the family. Close to the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano and about an hour from the Bahía Junquillal Wildlife Reserve, a wonderful beach, we would definitely come back again. Jorge was very helpful at all times, he was attentive to us and what we needed, he is a super host, we recommend it.

This place was amazing! Kitchen was well stocked, the grill was great for cooking. The location was ideal. It was so clean! Can’t recommend it enough.

We loved our stay at Lois’ place. The shuttle to the beach and restaurant were very helpful as it’s quite hilly and we have young children. The sunsets at the pool by the restaurant were spectacular, and the resort staff were extremely friendly. We played bingo, went snorkelling, and played with beach toys all through the resort activity staff. Lois’ house was fully stoked for a comfortable stay and you can tell this is used as a home as well as a rental as nothing was missing. It is a great deal compared to other 3 bedroom homes in the area with pool and beach access. Would highly recommend.

José was a fantastic host. He was extremely helpful and communicated with us throughout our stay, including a great recommendation for the night market. We love the hammocks and super sweet dog!

The views and location to the beach are absolutely incredible. This place was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the open air concept. This place made our trip to Costa Rica even better. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the crowds but still be close to everything you need!!
