Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lewis Smith Lake

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Julie and her place! I am so glad we had this opportunity to get away and relax and unplug. I have NEVER seen an Airbnb so well stocked...I don't even know if my own home is this stocked! :) So cozy, clean, and comfy. We enjoyed the quiet privacy, the beautiful view, the paths around the home to hike and explore, and watching college football on the porch. Even used the wood-burning fire place!! It was about a 30 minute drive to Walmart in Cullman to get groceries and it IS a dry county, so if you want any kind of alcohol, it's good to go ahead and get it, as the place is fairly remote. There are some great little market type places within a 10-15 minute drive for snacks, etc. We really had everything we needed and then some. Julie has thought of everything and has things organized and even labeled!!! Loved it. It rained a lot, but we enjoyed just relaxing with the view more than anything. Ping pong was fun on the porch too! Fabulous getaway!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Emily's place! She was an exceptional host, providing clear instructions that made my arrival and stay seamless. The house itself is impressively spacious and located in a beautiful, tranquil neighborhood, perfect for relaxation. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I find myself in the area! Highly recommended!

The home was beautiful along with the location. Ben was a great host, and the home was just like the pictures, clean with no problems. The only negative was we didnt catch any fish, lol. The home was close to Cullman, so eating out was not a problem.

Very comfortable, easy to check in and Jason was very responsive. We were in town for a church launch and this apartment was just what we were looking for.

Trevor was a great host and the place was as described and very clean. He made sure everything was in order for my stay. Place was very convenient for Smith Lewis Lake. It is a perfect place if you bring a boat as you are able to back right up to the door. We will certainly stay here when we come back to Smith Lewis.

Decided to stay overnight at “The Nest” to attend the Veterans Day celebration at the regional airport in Vinemont. Messaged Tony and Meg my plans and that I was probably arriving somewhere around 9 PM local. Kept them informed of my trip progress. On getting to the destination, GPS was a little weird. The place was actually straight off the hardtop. Check in was a breeze. Key code worked perfectly once I realized I was at the wrong door. Upstairs knucklehead, not the bottom garage door. The loft was very clean, quiet, and spacious. Had a small table, small refrigerator with freezer, snacks, coffee, pot, a TV, and a water warmer. Some games and books. Plenty of linens also. The couch was very comfortable as well as the bed. The closet is spacious if you needed to hang up clothing. The bathroom had room to move, but if you’re average height or more, trying to stand close to the toilet or the sink requires some ducking down. The sink is a bit tiny, but usable. Outdoors is pretty nice.

Our stay was great. The lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Condo was very clean. Owner was friendly and responsive and let us check in early, which made our timing much easier as we were trying to meet up with family in the area and needed to unload our car. Will definitely be back!

Jay was flexible with check in as I traveled many hours to see my daughter's tournament. He was very helpful and responsive. Comfortable stay.

We are a fishing team and this place was ideal for our event on Smith Lake

The Smith Lake apartment was a total success! Besides being an incredibly beautiful place to stay with stunning views of the lake and the grounds, the apartment itself provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay: proximity to the water, privacy, and many amenities! Since our son was fishing a tournament, we actually had two boats. The dock provided plenty of space and cover for the boats, as well as electricity to charge the batteries! Each morning we could just walk a few steps out to the water and be on our fishing way! One of our favorite “amenities” was the opportunity to meet and get to know the property owners Jonas and Doris. They showed us around their beautifully landscaped property and offered their assistance for anything we might need. What a very special couple they are! We would have no reservations in recommending this gorgeous getaway and are hoping to return in the near future.

Jennifer was a great host. The condo was very clean, well stocked and has great views. The boat slip is very convenient and central to anything in Arley.

We have used Airbnb before but this was by far the most satisfactory, comfortable, elegant, tasteful lodging place we have stayed in. It was overall spotlessly clean and so well appointed and comfortable that we felt right at home. The view of Lewis Smith Lake from the back porch was always breathtaking, no matter the weather. We would love to come back! Thank you, Connie, for being such a gracious host.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a girl's weekend and it was just beautiful - very spacious and comfortable and the view can't be beat. It was super clean and really well equipped and the host left a beautiful bouquet of flowers and box of pastries for us and we thought that was a wonderful touch and a warm welcome into their home. The location was absolutely perfect! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
