Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lewis Smith Lake

We had a wonderful long weekend with our son’s family and 4 grandchildren. Everyone loved the kayaks, lily pad, dock swings and toys were perfect for our grandchildren. The porch and porch swing were lovely. The sunset was beautiful. The lake level was getting low this time of year and the bottom of the lake was muddy, but we lily pad kept our feet off the bottom😊. We rented a boat one day and went tubing. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this property. The host, Claire was very accommodating. Thank you.

A peaceful and quiet place for a restful get away…one of the most beautiful views on Smith Lake. Lynn was very responsive and provided all information needed prior to check-in.

What a fantastic place! Perfect location on the water. Easy sloping yard down to the water with NO STAIRS! The house was in perfect condition and had everything we needed. We loved the place so much we have already booked a return trip for this summer!

The house is beautiful, plenty spacious and very comfortable with everything needed. Clean, plenty of towels, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Lovely setting, and due to recent rain a beautiful waterfall coming off the hillside and running under the bridge as you come into the parking area of the house added to the experience. We were all comfortable and enjoyed the view of the lake. Still cool outside, so we didn’t swim, but it was a lovely place to get together with my family for a wonderful weekend! Certainly recommend and we will visit again!

We loved our stay at Paradise Point! It was beautiful and extremely clean! It was exactly as described and Summer was always responsive to messages and any issues we had. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

This wasn’t our first stay at the copper penny because we love the location and accommodations so much! Really feels like a home away from home. Katie is such a kind host who is always responsive when needed. We will be back and recommend for a nice peaceful getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at the charming cottage on Smith Lake. The location was off the beaten path, and we loved the area. It was very peaceful with beautiful plants and wildlife to see on our walks around the cottage. The cottage was very clean, organized, and well-thought out. The things I especially loved were the desk facing the window, the metal side tables with glass lamps, the roll-out shelves in the kitchen, the gas stove, all of the supplies in the kitchen, the drying rack in the laundry room, the big windows facing the lake, and the screened front porch. Kristina was very responsive and helpful at all times! She was always friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for more from a host! Thank you so much! This was definitely one of my favorite airbnbs, and we will definitely be back!

We are very familiar with Smith Lake, so we knew this was a gem. Largely flat with a gentle slope to the water, it was perfect for young kiddos, including elderly. Conveniently located to local shops that had whatever we might need. Older home, but very comfortable and clean! Enjoyed the back deck and covered breeze-way along with the beautiful massive trees, we had plenty of shade to be able to have fun outside on even the hottest of July days. Strongly considering booking again. Loved every minute of our stay.

A place to stay over the holidays can be tricky, but we had everything we needed with no stress! Hosts were forward thinking on making sure we had everything needed and detailed instructions were provided for all household amenities. Beds were clean and comfortable! Also, a fresh bar of soap might be a small detail but was much appreciated effort! Would be great to come back in the summer and use the lake! From our family to yours, thank you!

I highly recommend staying at this lake house. If you are looking for a place to relax and have all the things you need to have a wonderful time then this is the place for you. Will’s hospitality and communication was the best I’ve ever experienced with an AIRBNB stay. The pictures of the home look amazing online but when you get to the lake house it is even more beautiful.

Great house, but a bit of a hike to the dock. The dock, kayaks, etc… are great.

Had a great stay on the lake! Private getaway but close to Cullman and Birmingham if you want a little city life!

so cute! very clean and cozy. Had a good kitchen with full stove and microwave and full size refrigerator. Everything was so clean, near and tidy. front porch was great to sit and look at the water. nice repurposed pontoon deck to sit on right on the water. only thing somewhat less peaceful is the road right next to the property where people fly coming and going but you can't hear the road noise once in the cabin. still give it 10 stars for accessibility and comfort.

This was the perfect location for our group! We loved relaxing in the lake and the cabin was so cute and cozy! Nikki our host was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Really enjoyed this weekend get away and hopefully will return in the future!

I like to look at water and this place was perfect! Beautiful, wide water view from every single room in the house! Several dif places outside to sit and enjoy too. It was so peaceful and calming. Would love to go again when it’s a little warmer so we could enjoy the water and all they have to offer. House was clean. Bed was very comfortable. They even provided sunscreen, beach towels, chairs on the dock and more.

If you’re thinking about booking, do it! Bluff Point Lodge is the perfect destination at Smith Lake! We had everything we needed (and more)! The view and location is 10/10! We went for a weekend away to celebrate my mom’s 70th. We had family from 2 years old to 70 and there was something for everyone. We loved the fire pit (s’mores), kayaks, games and puzzles. The accommodations are comfy… we literally cannot say enough about our weekend and the rental! I can’t imagine how fun it would be in spring or summer, but it was also the perfect fall getaway! We cannot wait to stay again!

This was a great location, and a beautiful home! We loved the outdoor space and the kids had the best time playing on the lily pad and kayaks! We would love to return to this home for another vacation. The communication was great between the owners and our group!

We had a great time at Tom's cabin. We had no issues and would definitely stay there again.
