Vacation rentals with a patio in Lewis and Harris

This place was lovely, with an amazing view! Mary was very communicative and helpful when we had a little trouble finding the place in the dark. Portree was so pretty! Can definitely recommend getting 57A from Portree right around Skye- about a 2 hour loop with amazing sights! And definitely walking Old Man of Storr. Will definitely be back to Portree!

The apartment was lovely new, clean, and very comfortable to stay in. It was in a perfect location for anyone who doesn’t want to stay in Portree but still close enough to visit. We didn’t meet Sue, but her daughter was available via phone for any issue or question. My only suggestion: I would have appreciated it if the kitchen was stocked with quality coffee and various tea flavors. It’s hard to start the morning without a good cup of coffee.

Mary provided very clear instructions and made our last minute booking a breeze. Perfect location and beautiful apartment. The bathroom was especially nice with the big bathtub!

The location was perfect - the view across the harbor to relax in the evening was lovely after a day of touring, and it was an easy walk to the local CoOp, restaurants, and town center.

We had a fantastic stay at Sarah’s place in Shieldaig! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the loch. The house was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sarah went above and beyond as a host, providing local tips and even helping us to ensure we are comfortable with our stay in the area. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to explore this beautiful part of Scotland. Thank you, Sarah, for an unforgettable experience!

We couldn’t have chosen a better place as a base point to visit Skye. The place is really cute and well curated and has all you need. The owners live next door but it still feels very private. We appreciated a lot the breakfast basket ( eggs, milk and juice offered by Ronald) And of course Isle of Skye is beautiful :)

Okay, everything is perfect

We spent a wonderful few days at Stephanie & Jordan's property on the Waternish Peninsula as part of our minimoon, we're so glad we made the trip! The property is part of a small community at the very tip of Skye and it's worth the extra miles... Hallin and Waternish feel off the beaten track, wonderfully secluded but also with local amenities and businesses to visit. We loved an evening by the fire at The Stein Inn (delicious mussels) and came home with local pottery and Scottish tablet. The property itself is great, huge glass windows to admire the view and a lovely log burner to keep you cosy at night. The kitchen was probably the cleanest and most well equipped kitchen we have ever come across in an Airbnb! Thanks so much for having us, we will definitely be back when the weather is warmer!

Joan was super responsive. Although her instructions were limited to 2 pages, she answered any question I had within minutes. The area is lovely and she recommended The Brewery, which is a great restaurant with a wide selection of beers brewed on the premises. She also recommended a local weaver, which was a highlight of our stay. The house had what we needed. The heating boost was easy to use.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Had a very lovely stay once again. Thankful for the tidy, spacious home and convenient location. Thanks so much Karen!!

Absolutely lovely house with lots of space for 5 people and a good view. Got everything you need - also in the kitchen. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood with a perfect walking-distance to the center of Portree. Nice basket with goodies and lots of information from the host. I can really recomment to stay in Douglass’ Millpond House and would like to come back one day.

Harris is pretty remote and rugged. This home is especially nice. Near a great brewery pub that we ate several meals at. And near some nice walks. Also the home is extremely beautiful and comfy. The beds and linens were the best I’ve ever experienced, like a fine hotel or spa.

Very nice, spacious house and close to Portree and Fairy Glen (which our kids love!)/Uig. Kitchen excellent and with everything we needed. It's on our list of around 5 houses to return to, we've been visiting Skye 1-2 times per year for the past 20 years. Thanks Jamie.

This renovated farmhouse provides a lovely mix of the old and the new. The kitchen is EXTREMELY well-equipped. The host is a retired construction engineer, and I had guessed engineer owner before I knew it. It is an excellent base from which to explore Lewis. It was a bit difficult to locate in the dark. I would definitely return.

Lovely, comfortable accomodation. Amazing,changing landscapes. Some fantastic local walks. Very relaxed stay and would return.

We enjoyed our night at Sam's property and were impressed by just how clean and welcoming it was. She met us when we arrived and made sure we settled in. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the tea and coffee supplies in the morning. Lovely little spot!

I loved staying here! I am super picky about my hotels and vacation rentals, and this met my expectations. Everything was very clean, and the space was incredibly cozy. Rachel was very responsive and sent helpful advice for the area. Great location too. 5 minute walk to Portree's town center, but the home is very private and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazingly cozy, clean, and well appointment home in such a beautiful location! So many thoughtful touches were left by Fiona and we were very thankful for it, especially after long days of hiking. It’s near Portree and the absolute perfect jumping off point for Skye. Honestly this was our favorite stay on our honeymoon and it felt like a home away from home. Cannot wait to return.

Even with chilly and inclement weather, Lewis is absolutely gorgeous and has beautiful ancient sites and beaches. We had the pleasure of staying at Marie's place while on a van tour. It was very clean and we were able to use the washer for our clothes. A very comfortable bed and a nice shower. Marie was very communicative and I appreciated that. A nice snack basket was provided including some eggs and crumpets which were a breakfast lifesaver, and the nearby local co-op grocers was great. Felt very homey, and the fireplace was a great comfort. Overall would recommend staying here for a trip to Storonway!

Great accommodation, would definitely recommend!

This is a spacious, cosy, comfortable place to stay. It's peaceful, remote, in beautiful surroundings - the Atlantic to the West, the mountains of Torridon to the East, and views of Skye from beautiful local beaches. Onie and Ally were friendly and helpful (above and beyond after I'd gone knee-deep in a bog on a walk, making sure my boots dried by morning). The apartment is, if anything, better than in the photos - the comfortable sitting room/dining/kitchen area really spacious. I slept super-well here and had some great walks and drives in the day - taking hundreds of photos.
