Vacation rentals with beach access in Leucadia, Encinitas

Fantastic views- sunsets were amazing! Fantastic space- clean & comfortable. Fantastic location- walkable and safe. Oceanside is a hidden gem! We walked on the beach and then for morning coffee almost everyday. Favorite feature is the sliding glass door! It is clear, Lauren and her staff take great care of the property. Thanks again Lauren for a great stay!

We loved our stay at this property. The bunk room for the kids was large and had plenty of space. The bathroom was very clean and modern -- great shower :) The location was perfect for us -- walkable to all the beaches around the bay and an easy 5-10 minute drive to everything else we wanted to do. Super safe neighborhood. Mary and Tony were extremely welcoming and helpful. One of our best stays ever!

I had previously booked a condo somewhere else and it was condemned when I showed up. I was really scrambling last minute when I found this place. Jasmine was terrific. She had the place cleaned and ready for us right away and even had a new bottle of propane delivered so we could enjoy the fire pit every night. I highly recommend this little bungalow on the beach.

Dan's place was adorable!! absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway for myself and my daughters. Everything was exactly as advertised with some unexpected pleasant surprises (beach amenities like boogie boards, chairs,toys and even a wagon!). every thing was spotlessly clean a day comfy. I see alot of mention regarding the noise. given you're literally right on mission blvd I feel that's to be expected and to be honest, with fans going and the windows closed at night I heard nothing and it had no impact on a most enjoyable stay. Dan is close by if needed but non intrusive and seems genuinely invested in you enjoying your stay. You cannot beat the location and I felt it was absolutely worth what i spent. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect getaway space for us. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Beautiful ocean views from the patio & the front sliding doors. Right on the boardwalk. Bedrooms were comfy and the kitchen was outfitted with amenities to cook our meals there. Easy walk to restaurants and the location right on the ocean was ideal. We will be back again!

This place was awesome! Would definitely come back again. We stayed three nights which was perfect for us. Great location and everything was as advertised.

We really enjoyed our stay here during “off season.” The weather was still beautiful every day, fully clear skies and amazing sunsets. The cabin itself was perfect. The bed was comfortable and we really appreciated the large bath towels. I ended up booking a rental car the night of our flight and I’m glad I did. We had no trouble parking on pacific beach drive, except for Saturday night, we had to drive down where the library is to find a spot. Nevertheless, it’s only about an 8 minute walk at most.

The location is wonderful, an easy walk right to Ocean beach, great bars and restaurants nearby. The outdoor patio spaces in the front and back of the unit are excellent additions and really adds to the experience. The unit itself is pretty much as described, linens and furniture are clean, kitchen is well laid out and has everything you would need. Heated toilet seats are a major plus. The only downside is parking, you can always find parking but probably have to park a few blocks away. This is typical for this part of the neighborhood, especially being so close to the beach. I knew what I was getting into so it’s not a problem for me. I would gladly rent here again

We stay in Mission Beach every year for a family vacation. This was by far our favorite house for the location. It had everything we needed for a wonderful time at the beach and exploring the area. The beds were a little firm for our liking, however, others may love that. Everything they described in the listing was accurate. I’d highly recommend this home for your next family vacation. As a helpful hint, getting delivery from the local grocery store was incredibly easy and beyond convenient!

This property was convenient, comfortable, and exactly as described in other positive reviews and pictures. Easy to find, park, and to check in; host was responsive and let us know we could check in early. The space was perfect for 2 adults and a 9-yr-old, with the added bonus of a front and back yard area. Super easy access to bike paths, restaurants/bars/coffee/breakfast spots, the beach, and surrounding San Diego attractions. We were very happy with our stay and would return!

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

This place was a magical getaway! We loved waking up and having coffee on the sun deck and watching the dolphins swim by. We also enjoyed our comfy beds, sunset views, chats by the outdoor fireplace, and beach walks. Anthony’s communication was top notch and I will definitely book again. Let me help any future guests understand something. A true beach house is made to be utilized for the purpose of enjoying the beach. If you don’t like a worked in, well used older home close to the beach, this place might not be for you, but this home was everything we were hoping for when staying at a beach house. Pros… this house has its own PARKING!! Amazing!! And it’s on a one way street!! Also amazing because it keeps down traffic. Great natural light and a really authentic genuine feel. Host was great and the shower had hot water!! Nice!! Cons…The train station is close by so you will hear the train come in and out. It didn’t bother me at all, but it might annoy someone who wants to hear nothing but a sea breeze. Kitchen supplies are non existent so bring spices, cooking oil, and any thing else you might need for food such as foil, plastic wrap and zip lock bags. The neighbors can be loud at times. It’s a beach community, so understandable. Location is awesome!!

This was our family's 4th time staying at Toes in the Sand and we absolutely love it! The place has everything needed for four adults, three kids, and two dogs. There are beach towels and toys, boogie boards, TV streaming access, and much more! And best of all, it's so comfortable and feels like home. We love the quick walk to the beach and close-by restaurants and shops. Clarissa is a great host -- responsive and thoughtful. We'll be back!

We loved our stay here! This is a beautiful condo with an amazing view and great ambience. Bart and Debra have this decorated so well. It has such a comfy, beachy vibe. North Coast Village is fabulous! The landscaping feels like you are in an oasis! It is so clean and the security and tranquility is top notch! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

All-in-all nice vacation spot. You can always find something to complain (i.e. musty odor mentioned in the previous review is a fact but everybody has a different tolerance level). Bikes are GREAT addition to the experience as you can almost drop using your car unless to stock up in Trader Joe's. Sandra is very welcoming host, instructions are clear and precise.

Unbelievable view and a perfect location. Perfect spot to be if you’re looking to be in within minutes with walking where you want and only a quick 10 min drive to downtown. 10/10 💪

Wonderful Airbnb! This is the second time we spent Thanksgiving week there and it was lovely once again!

What a special place with an ideal location for beach walks, sunsets, and access to downtown Carlsbad. Because of its coastal location next a public lot, it’s a bustling vibe, but we never had trouble parking, and there’s a lot for the condo unit in the back. Our particular unit had a small management office built on its patio, limiting the patio size and causing narrow access for my elderly mother. Going through the patio is the only access point to the unit. The unit was small but well designed to maximize the space and included beautiful blue glass tile and matching decor. Seating was plentiful too. What a treat to enjoy this special spot.

Booked this place for my fiancé, it was his first time seeing and experiencing the ocean. We absolutely loved this place! Beach access 24/7, great restaurants at walking distance, peaceful surroundings, koi pond, and everything felt safe. There was initially a miscommunication with the cleaning service and we walked into a dirty place, but we let Paul know and had them there within the hour. We didn't mind as this can easily happen to anyone and Paul resolved it extremely fast with so much kindness. We will definitely be back, thank you Paul & Lisa! <3

Great Location. Easy check-inand check-out. Parking at Crystal Pier is essentially non-existant. Having parking is an excellent perk.

We were travelling from Australia. Found it to be a centrally located Airbnb with superb views and close to good food venues. Made good use of the bikes in the garage, cycling around Mission Bay. Kitchen appliances included a pod coffee machine which was much appreciated. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
