Waterfront vacation rentals in Lelystad

We had a lovely stay at Karin's houseboat. The accommodation is comfortable and we had everything we needed for our short stay. Karin left us some milk, tea bags, coffee and breakfast ingredients which was very welcome. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and the heating was fine. There is a shortish walk to the bus or tram and a slightly longer walk (15 mins) to the metro. We found the public transport system excellent and the journey into the city centre did not take long.

Thank you for the beautiful experience. We loved the apartment! Just like in the pictures it is equipped with everything you need. We also got some Dutch treats as a warm welcome! The apartment was clean and the bed comfy! We had a great time. 10/10 I would recommend it to everyone!

Everything to our satisfaction :) a pretty old building apartment that is a little clairvoyant, but quickly heats up if you like it warmer. We will be happy to come back. The bed is (depending on the constellation) a little narrow and also a little deep, but otherwise everything is perfect.

Johnson's apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and equipped with all (electronic) comforts. The hardware - sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom - was excellently taken care of, and the decoration as well. A room-wide TV for binchwatchen, an iPad with all the info about the apartment and more, and electronic access to the apartment finished the whole thing. Pros were also the location in the heart of the old town of Alkmaar, in a picturesque place on a canal, with all kinds of nice shops and restaurants around the corner. And the communication with the extremely friendly Johnson who went smoothly. A highly recommended all in all.

My 6 days 5 nights stay was amazing. The apartment really nice clean cozy and the location make me feel peace and calm Me and my family really enjoy each and every moment we were there. Monique met us when we arrived at the apartment and showed us the amenities and provided recommendations of restaurants and activities. She is a lovely person and we are so grateful she shared her apartment. The location was amazing, close to everything and yet not touristy. The farmers market was just around the corner and so many great little places tucked away. We felt like locals and embraced the culture. It was my first time in Amsterdam and the people, culture, shopping, restaurants and “coffee shops” surpassed my expectations as did the apartment. Monique is one of the best hosts I have ever met and highly recommend. She is very thoughtful and really wanted to make our stay was memorable. We truly felt like we were her family. So wonderful and gracious. We are so grateful for her and for her hospitality. Thank you, Monique, for everything.

I spent 10 days and 9 nights at Hans’ place and it was such a wonderful stay! I attended IDFA, which is located all around Amsterdam, and found the Airbnb to be well located and a perfect retreat after a long day out and about. It’s centrally located but relatively quiet, very clean and comfortable. I used the kitchen for several easy meals, and it had everything I needed. Hans was incredibly responsive, provided great recommendations and very clear oral and written instructions for everything (from how to use the microwave to check-out info). I hope to stay here again!

We spent a weekend in the lovely place. The house is very cozy and quiet, right on a canal. The center of Giethorn is about 5 minutes by car. The amenities are as described and you have plenty of space. Pets are also allowed. We would repeat the stay at any time.

Joan's and Hans's place was great, beautiful views of the lake, and in a quiet area, we spent a lot of time outside, we were lucky and had extremely nice weather. It is so centrally located, only a short distance from Amsterdam, Gouda, Utrecht and Rotterdam. Joan was very helpful and accommodating, we could not have had a better host.

Really enjoyed staying at Christiens accommodation. Very well equipped. Would not hesitate to stay there again. 5 stars. Christien communicates well and makes it clear she is there to support you if you need help.

A beautiful, small and light-flooded house surrounded by nature. In a secluded location. Very cozy. In the village a small shopping center where you can get everything for your everyday needs. Very central location for visits e.g. Gouda, Delft, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. We felt very comfortable in the house and will definitely come back.

Harold's house is really very nice. It was all very clean and exactly as described in the description.

Excellent property that was accurately described. My family loved the peaceful atmosphere. The market, bakery, and excellent restaurants were easy walking distance. Wendy Jane was very responsive to all my questions. Only thing of note is ensuring you have transportation figured out. Relying on Uber can get expensive vs renting a car.

We felt very comfortable in the house and had a great week there in October. It is right on a canal in a small, quite newly developed holiday park with modern single-family homes near a marina. Behind the house is its own boat dock. In addition, it is nicely furnished, clean and equipped with every comfort. We really appreciated that there is mosquito repellent on all windows, and that the canoes are at your disposal. We really enjoyed the great view from the living room or from the terrace directly on the canal, especially the sunsets. However, the closest supermarket is not within walking distance. The house has fiber optic and the internet speed / wifi has been great.

Wonderful with the 2 of us (without kids) a weekend getaway. Due to the bikes, we were able to see a lot of Amsterdam. Super convenient. The place was wonderfully quiet after a day of walking through the city center. And the bed, we had preferred to take it home! Super nice sleep! Thank you!

Hugo was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive throughout all our communication. Sharing great instructions on how to find the place, confirming what time we would be arriving and recommending local places. He was kind enough to let us into the apartment as soon as we arrived in the morning and we felt he was only a message away should we have needed anything. The apartment is spacious, clean and perfectly positioned to explore what Amsterdam has to offer. It was warm and cosy and had everything we needed (Iron, hairdryer, umbrella, toiletries etc) Checking out was a breeze with Hugo again offering to store our bags whilst we explored more on our last day. We had a great time and hope to be back in the future.

Me and my elderly parents had a great stay here. They were 75 and the stairs were no problem. My mom loved the apartment decorations and the Christmas tree. It was very fun to walk through the park everyday to get to the museums. Joze was a great hostess and helped us with a recommendation for our last day the fabrique des luminaires which was very fun!

Beautiful place right on the beach! The apartment is bright, clean and very welcoming. Perfect for relaxing walks by the sea, with short distances to the harbor and to the charming little town.Lilly was super friendly!

Beautiful space in the heart of the Jordaan canal district. The hosts were extremely responsive and the apartment well stocked. Definitely recommend.

Maxime was a great host. She welcomed us upon arrival. The rooms were spotless. It felt welcoming and relaxing. There is air conditioning, which is a plus. We received a packet of information upon arrival which was very nice. She made sure we had our wifi up and running. Maxime also checked in through text during our stay to make sure everything was going okay. Be aware that there are stairs to the apartment since it is above a business. There was occasionally a bit of noise from the business. The kitchen was nice. The bathroom had a nice big window. I personally would have liked a curtain for the window, but figured out a way to cover it. The living room area was my favorite part of the space. The blue accents were so pretty. There were big picture windows that gave you a nice view of the lake. Overall, this is a great place to stay.
