A very enjoyable stay during Storm Darragh four our anniversary. A homely property with everything we needed and more. Brilliant placwment for Chester Zoo (which was unfortunately closed for the storm!) but only took 10 mins to get into Chester centre too. Friendly, responsive hosts and good communication prior to our visit.

A really enjoyable stay for my group. Everything was as described and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Getting up the track in the snow and mud was a bit of a challenge for some of the cars, but then the weather was exceptionally bad during our stay. Would definitely return.

Myself and 3 friends stayed for the weekend and it was amazing. The cottage was lovely. Easy to get find, easy i structions to follow to check in. Emma has everything in the kitchen that you could need, even a dishwasher. The lounge area was very cosy and has a dining area. There is a lovely log fore for the cold nights and games. The bathroom was very nice and clean as were the bedroom. The cottage was lovely and warm and we couldnt hear any noise. There a lots of things to do if you dont mind going for a drive amd a couple of lovely pubs if you want to eat out. The gaming barn is so good aswell. We cant wait to come back in the summer. Emma was an excellant host, we saw her a few times during our stay and was happy to answer any questions that we had. Thank you for a lovely stay in your cottage Emma xx

It's a last minute booking & Dot is so generous! She able to accept my request. All I can say, I enjoyed my holiday and enjoying the scenery is a top tier.

We all loved the Shearing Shed. Tucked away in the bottom of the valley, it is a clean, cosy, comfortable house set in beautiful surroundings with amazing views from sitting room, bedrooms and garden. The ground floor was wonderfully light and airy. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was lots of comfortable seating for both sitting and dining. Learning about alpaca farming and meeting the alpacas was an unexpected added bonus! I would highly recommend as a quiet, peaceful retreat with lots of walks direct from the house and with easy access to Buxton.

Added the little barn to our booking of the big barn due to being a large group , both properties fantastic the little barn particularly for giving extra adults an independent space separate from main family and worked really well. Property is lovely warm cosy and well equipped , loads to do in surrounding area plenty of pubs etc a short drive and also lots to do straight out of the door. Thanks for the stay

Jane communicated all we needed to know. Getting in to the property was easy. lovely bungalow, very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Good shower. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Local walks were fantastic, would definitely book again

Forge Cottage was perfect for our family gathering. The cottage is big inside with large kitchen and long dining room along with a small snug if you wanted to get away from the crowd. Five large comfortable double rooms. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cater. The village has eateries and great pubs if you don’t want to cater! Terry was a great host, helpful and accommodating, pointing us in the right direction of local walks and pubs. The cottage is a great place for dogs despite having no outside space as such. The lane is very quiet and walks from the doorstep. All in all a perfect cottage for a large family gathering. We will be back for the next one !!

Super cozy stay! Felt right at home, highly recommend!

I had a lovely, peaceful stay at Bridestones Cottage with my dog! It is quite remote, so a car is definitely needed, but it's only 10 mins drive from both Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. The surroundings are beautiful, with lots of walking options and lots of local wildlife. The cottage was lovely- a good size and really cosy, with amazing views across the moors. It was easy to find based on Aisling's instructions; she couldn't have been more helpful and was always on-hand if needed. I would highly recommend Bridestones Cottage for a quiet break in the countryside, close to some lovely towns.

Very quiet and peaceful location. Well appointed flat, cosy and easy to find. Corinne was proactive in providing check in details and making sure all was OK. The fresh milk and tea coffee were much appreciated on arrival due to December weather. Great transport links into the city by bus or train. The nearby Mersey waterside is impressive and only a short walk away. Would definitely return.

We booked this cottage for a family wedding which turned out to be a stones throw away from the venue which was amazing for us with three young children. The cottage was absolutely immaculate! I loved the little extras like milk in the fridge and cereal in the cupboard! The owners and employees of the farm were so welcoming and even let our children play with their dog Sadie & let them visit all the animals on the farm. We cannot wait to stay again THANK YOU SO MUCH

We had a wonderful stay at Lorraine's! The house has a great layout with convenient parking for one car, and additional parking available at the entrance of the cul-de-sac. It's located in the far corner, offering stunning, uninterrupted views of the rolling green fields from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The outdoor decking area overlooks the fields and is private, quiet, and peaceful—perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the open-plan living and dining area is spacious and comfortable. The central heating and hot water systems worked perfectly, and as new parents with a newborn, we felt right at home with everything we needed. The bathroom, newly installed, includes both a separate shower and bath. Comms with Lorraine was excellent, and she was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. A small convenience store 2-minute walk away, and Whalley is easily accessible with a 15-20 minute walk or via nearby bus routes with shops, cafes. Highly recommend!

A lovely little house in a really nice neighbourhood. Walked into Hoole within about 12-15 minutes, really good sized Sainsbury’s and some really cosy pubs, The Faulkner Pub was a real find and food to die for. Got a taxi into Chester centre for around £6.50, only a 5 minute drive away. House lovely and warm , comfortable beds and lots of wardrobe space. Most definitely would return in the future.

Beautiful, arty loft apartment in the middle of the vibrant Liverpool City Center! Absolutely gorgeous, cozy space. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of great bars and restaurants to visit nearby. Miranda was extremely clear with the instructions and also let me check-in early, which was much appreciated. I highly recommend this spot and I would gladly stay there again!

Lovely house in a fabulous peaceful location. Jacob supplied the code on the day of arrival and we had no problems accessing the property. Everywhere was spotless and the kitchen had everything you could ask for. We did not eat in the main dining room as the kitchen table was big enough for us and had lovely views of the garden Chester Zoo and City Centre both only 10 minutes away. We only spent 2 nights there but would certainly recommend and visit again.

Another excellent visit to Neil & Alexandras beautiful home , absolutely everything u need for a relaxing stay ,, great location and between 5/10 minutes walk from shops , pubs , restaurants n the beach 🏖️
