We were a group of 10 friends and the house exceeded expectations in all aspects. Just ten minutes from the tourist center by car, the area is very quiet and the home has everything you need for a friends trip. The heated pool is clearly one of the jewelry in the house, but the stays are also spacious and very comfortable. The service with Pedro was very simple and everything was easy; In short, if you want a place to stay for a few days in Porto and take advantage of not only the city but also the comfort of a great accommodation do not hesitate

The perfect house in the perfect location with a perfect host. We had a really enjoyable 5 days ,being by the beach and close to Porto. The house had everything we needed and Marcos made us welcome,giving us all the information we needed about local shops and restaurants. We were a big group who kept on congratulating me on the choice of our house,but the prase should go to the country to Porto,the house ,the location and to our host Marcos! Thanks for everything!

The place was great and a real gem in Porto. Close to the beach and into city as well. Claudia was very helpful throughout the time we were there with recommendations for things to eat and do around the area. Had a lovely time and will definitely look to stay here again 😊

Very cozy apartment in an old building with a good outdoor space. Rui was an excellent host and very responsive to any request, including getting us a new kettle! He was friendly and offered us lots of information about the city and neighbourhood. Pet-friendly was a huge bonus. The house is smaller than it seems in the photos but it is liveable and comfortable. There is a small gas heater for those chilly or damp nights. The two bedrooms was a huge plus. Kitchen had everything we needed as did the bathroom. The back garden was a nice place to relax on a sunny day. The neighbourhood is very walkable and close to all sorts of things like the metro, buses, cafes, supermarkets, parks, and restaurants. It doesn't take long to walk anywhere, or to take a bus into centro. The street is small and a very large car may have a problem parking there, but we didn't. We liked that the neighbourhood isn't too busy and is mostly residential. We would definitely choose this place again.

Luis goes to exceptional lengths to accommodate his guests, so save the money on the overrated bus tours — just follow the host's daily tips for this walkable city. Luis will also ensure you eat well (not that this is hard in Porto) by offering some cracking good culinary guidance. Though this is not an apartment for people who hope to cook, eating in doesn't make sense when there is a bakery outside the door and an almost inexhaustible supply of affordable, fabulous fare within safe walking distance. This suite is pretty soundproof, but Porto's historic centre delivers no shortage of talkative street characters passing by. So get the most out of this memorable city and its exceptionally warm people by packing earplugs. I'd say the only real catch is securing your spot this in this rightly sought-after Airbnb.

This may be the best place to stay in Porto, of course, in Portugal! The view from the window is really great and better than the listing. Despite the new year's vacation, Lisa, the host, was very kind and quick to respond. We had babies and elementary school children, and they had the utmost care and cleanliness so that they could have a pleasant and enjoyable stay as well. If you have a lot of carry cases, it may be a little hard to get to the area, but it's definitely worth staying!

Mario is a good host, responded quickly to any questions or requests and was careful to make our stay enjoyable. Access to the apartment was easy and the instructions clear. The apartment is spacious and bright, well equipped. We were very comfortable, the only thing was a little cold because there was air through the windows (there are wooden doors to cover the windows that do not close well) and having a high ceiling, it cost a little to heat the apartment, but nothing that is not fixed with a good pyjamas. As negative: - the street and the views are not pretty. - it is on a second floor without an elevator (complicated if you carry large heavy suitcase, just to consider) - a little noisy on the street when the garbage truck passes. Positive: - very good location, close to everything and central. - it has a supermarket 1 minute away. - 1-2 min from Bolhão market and rua de Santa Catarina. 100% recommended, especially for the location

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the apartment. Everything was perfect. Super clean and just an amazing location. We were able to access the metro within minutes and there were so so many restaurants and bars surrounding us. And last but certainly not least, communication was super smooth and always helpful.

I really liked the house. Silent, beautiful, comfortable. Me and my friends really enjoyed walking, so we did everything on foot. I can't tell you what public transportation is like, but we really had fun walking. We always get answers when we need it. I would recommend this place.

This Airbnb is an absolutely wonderful place. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with; always responded promptly and accommodated our requests. The apartment has beautiful views of the ocean, it's specious and well laid-out. The bathrooms are large and well appointed. Regarding some of the comments about must: One ought to keep in mind, that it is a not-brand-new building and it is close to the ocean; however, there is excellent air circulation in the apartment and windows that open throughout. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time in Marie’s place. She welcomed us really well sharing local places we could go to to shop or eat, and recommendation for Porto. Very easy to check in and flexible which was great. The house is very big with all amenities, and a very nice area by the swimming pool. Thanks again !

Pleasant stay in a quiet environment and a walkable pool despite the passable weather.

The accommodation was very spacious and there was ample space to unfold. The ambience is rather functional and not particularly homely but we lacked nothing. You are privately accommodated there, but also anonymous. You won't be making contacts there. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine washes well. The wifi router is located in the property and the internet is fast. I particularly liked the large sliding wall with which you can protect the living area from the sun. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable, with the gastronomy in the area offering little change. Shopping facilities are a 15-20 min walk. After all, you have a vacation and plenty of time. We felt comfortable and the place was absolutely worth its money. Thank you

Really spotless place. Amazing hosts and quiet family friendly place.

Beautiful, massive unit with tonnes of amazing natural light and ocean views. Very comfortable bed and living areas which were perfect for relaxing after a long day. Big kitchen with everything you could need for a meal any size. Ample parking for your vehicle right outside the entrance door. While Gaia and this location in particular is not “Porto” we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were visiting. The drive from here to the porto old town and city centre can be done in under 15 minutes snd it’s very easy to come and go. This location feels so much less stressful than the busy, tough to navigate streets of Porto. Tonnes of restaurants and a grocery story within a walk or drive, great ocean walk right out front of the door.

It was superbly organized. Joana has always informed us and helped us well. Also at the time of the wildfires she made sure we were well informed. Also nice that the pool was cleaned extra when it had gotten dirty from the ashes coming from the wildfires. The house is beautiful, clean and all amenities are there.
