Vacation rentals with lake access in Lapland

Great stay at Tarja and Scott's. They were very responsive and welcoming. Explaining every part of the house in details. It was clean and tidy. We really enjoyed the sauna and the hut. We were able to use the snowshoes to go roam in Luosto National Park just one hour away. Even though we didn't see the northern lights it was very nice. We wished we stayed longer, maybe next time !

We are delighted with our stay at this lovely house . Very well equipped , very clean , but above all , totally secluded , in the middle of a breathtaking landscape. We've rarely been so frustrated to leave a vacation spot. Our hosts were adorable and responsive during our stay . Everything is done to feel at home . We hope to be able to come back soon . Thanks to Eepu and Ja Janne for everything .

Staying at this luxury house was a dream come true! Stunning scenery, spacious and beautifully decorated, with every modern amenity. The location was perfect for viewing the Northern Lights from the comfort of the living room. The sauna and double head shower added extra comfort. Highly recommend for a luxurious Lapland experience. Unforgettable memories!

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The house was very clean, with a well equipped kitchen. The sauna has a view over the lake. We enjoyed every minute in Kari's house.

The cottage was located in a beautiful, secluded yet open and quiet part of Kittilä where our children of 6 and 8 could happily play outside. The house was warm, cosy and inviting with all the amenities that you could reasonably expect from an Airbnb home (great WiFi too which is important nowadays!). In addition to Katariina’s great communications and responsiveness replies, she went the extra yards to provide a lovely Christmas surprise for our kids and was unbelievably efficient/quick in get someone round to change a fuse during Christmas! The cottage was perfect for us, with Katariina as the host being the “icing on the cake” - thank you so much and we look forward to returning one day! We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

We had a nice stay at Linda's cottage. We were personally welcomed and everything was explained to us. The cottage is very well equipped. There are plenty of toys for children and a separate games room with ping pong table, which can be heated by a fireplace. Just a lot of winter equipment like sledges and skis. We enjoyed hot tub and sauna. Highlight were the dancing aurora lights directly above us. Highly recommended!

Jani is very available and responsive. The instructions were very clear, the place impeccable and really nice with a large living space. Recommended!

All good! A dream house to stay for several days at Rovaniemi, great location, around 15mins to Santa Claus, ski mountain and even close to center center! Peaceful and clean village with all setups in the house! Highly recommend

It is a neat, cozy, and lacking accommodation. Especially recommended for travelers who prefer a comfortable bed. Our group was so comfortable without lacking anything. Reasonable price and comfortable and tidy accommodation There is no reason not to choose here. perfect

Wow! If we could give this place 6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars we would. It was incredibly clean, comfortable and well appointed. Nicholas was always very helpful, friendly and responsive. It was just the perfect space for staying in Rovaniemi. We had a car and the parking space was helpful. We walked into town a couple of times and it was an easy 20 minute walk. We even got to see the aurora over the town one night - very special! Thank you for hosting us, we had a great time and would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. We look forward to returning one day!

We would highly recommend staying at this apartment. The building is exceptionally clean and quiet, while the area feels safe. Being right on the sea, the view from the sixth-floor apartment was lovely, even in winter. Plenty of steaming hot water and comfortable beds, there was nothing to dislike, and I am very fussy about where I stay.

Very well located accommodation next to the Arktikum. It is clean, equipped and has a comfortable bed. Hanna was helpful during our stay, we could even use the sauna:)

The home was really nice and exactly how described! The host was very responsive & even left in the home some fresh Finnish snacks for us to enjoy. We appreciate all the thought put into our experience! There is a washer onsite which was difficult to use at first but with support from the hosts we were able to figure it out.

Beautiful cottage in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy the Sauna, the Fireplace or just chill inside the coozy cottage and wait for the Aurora. There is really no light polution around, so perfect for Aurora watching if the weather conditions are fine. In case of any questions contact Maja, the owner, she is very helpful and will ensure that you enjoy the stay.

We were delighted with the great accommodation from the beginning and especially the beach sauna. We had also booked the hot tub and were able to perfectly enjoy the tranquility of nature in it. There was wood for heating, nothing was missing. Unfortunately, the water was not melted/free to the jetty, so ice bathing was not possible. Otherwise, it was exactly as we imagined it, we are grateful for everything. We will be happy to come back sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation for one week in January. The area was beautiful and snowy, you could go for wonderful walks and then warm up perfectly in the house with the sauna and fireplace. The house is very clean and very special, what we liked most was the huge window with the beautiful view. We were also impressed by the extremely well-equipped kitchen - it has everything you need for cooking and much more. The bed was very comfortable as well. Francine's courteous and super friendly communication also deserves special mention, she gave us lots of tips for the surrounding area and even enquired whether we had had a good stay, what we really appreciated. Thank you so much for letting us spend our vacation in this wonderful house, we enjoyed it very much! :-)

A magical and incredible place. The house has all the amenities needed and the two saunas are a fantasy, especially the one outside. Beautiful views and landscapes very close to the lake for a walk. We felt at home.

A house in the middle of a lake with beautiful views. Keijo is a spectacular host, it gives you a lot of facilities. We went by car and his father takes care of removing the snow from the road so we could get out. The house is fully equipped, Keijo leaves you with all kinds of snow equipment (snowshoes, lanterns) and to get warm you could always get in the sauna.

We had a great time at Villa Aurelia! The house is absolutely beautiful and situated in the middle of the nature. Right in front of the house is a lake which was completely frozen in January. We stayed 1 week and could see the northern lights right from the lake three times during our stay. A small ski resort is also not far away and many opportunities for hiking and other activities which you reach by car within 30-60 minutes. Also the house itself offers many activities including fat bikes, snow shoes, sauna… We enjoyed our trip a lot thanks to this beautiful housing and Mea, who was a great, very friendly and supportive host!

Tainas and Taistos lovely little place is an amazing survival experience. We really enjoyed our retreat-like silent and peacefull visit. The cottages are small but if You are two people or even alone if You dare, outside and nature is the thing here. When the entertainment, buzyness, internet and restlessness is taken off your life for a while, You can deeply appriciate the silence and the nature and our origins once more.

Nice old cozy house with a functional morser kitchen! Location was perfect, away from the city lights. Even though it was next to the main highway, it was still dark enough to see the northern lights (right at the porch!) WiFi was a miss and we missed on enjoying the indoor/outdoor wood heated sauna! Would love to come back again!
