Farmstay vacation rentals in Lapland

We stayed at Tuula’s place for 4 days and we had such a great time. I’d recommend this place for the following reasons 1) Tuula was always available to provide advise as a local and help us with some insights on the places we had in our itinerary 2) Her place is perfect to pet reindeers. One can definitely save some bucks in booking expensive reindeer tours 3) We saw spectacular auroras from the lake right in front of the house. Since the place is towards the outskirts, it is not impacted by city lights and is perfect for aurora spotting 4) She also does tours on Sami culture, so I would definitely recommend this over any museums or exhibitions to get a local feeling of the Sami culture Cherry on the top, she was kind to bake some fresh breads and share it with us. Overall, we liked our stay her and would recommend Tuula’s place.

I stayed with my daughter for 5days. Jorma is super kind and helpful.And his wife too. We experienced authentic Lapland life.We enjoyed dog sled,kicking,hiking,cooking with them. Luckily,I could see northern light from lakeside. Each meal was delicious. Watching the color of the lake change over time was so relaxed me. If you want to escape from busy place,it is a best place to chill out. Also,He told me a lot of things；Finish nature,history,mythology,indigenous people and his family. I'd like to thank you for all of you!

In Markus house we returned second time. It was one of the best choices - beautiful, quiet nature, welcoming and very helpful hosts, a lot of activities to do - snowshoe hike, crosscountry skiing, underice fishing, smoke sauna etc...and beautiful dog Taika! We really enjoyed and appreciated time in Markus house. Reccomend for 200%

A truly magical and unforgettable experience! The house was super cozy, with a fantastic fireplace that created a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The large Finnish sauna with a window overlooking the snow-covered wonderland was an absolute dream—pure relaxation in the heart of Lapland’s beauty. We also took part in two days of experiences organized by the host, and they were simply incredible! We truly lived the essence of Lapland, with authentic activities that were thoughtfully planned and executed. The host was impeccable, always available, kind, and attentive to every detail, making us feel at home. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a unique and immersive stay in this fairytale setting. We had a great time at this place which is even better than in the photos. The forest view is soothing. It is very functional and well-equipped. The accommodation is located in a quiet subdivision 5 minutes from the city center and its main attractions. The Northern Lights are visible from the backyard of the property. Communication with the host is smooth. We recommend it for a family vacation.

Miika is a wonderful host who ensure you settle in safely and comfortably. The backyard is a great area for you to have fun and relax with a view of the frozen lake. You can also catch the memerising sight of the Aurora at Miika’s place. This is definitely a wonderful house for everyone! p.s. the salmon soup is a gem 😋

Very luxurious house with lots of space. The location is on a hill which makes spotting northern lights easy. It’s also very conveniently located if you want to go skiing in Ylläs or just roaming around the nearby lakes. Access to groceries and restaurants is also very close by.

We had a great time staying in Niklas’s cottage. Everything was great!
