Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lapland

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

We had a great time in Kare's lovely house. Kare is very friendly and always ready to help us if needed. The house is one of the best I had ever been to on vacation!

Good value for money. Super Clean Good location (airport 20 minutes / bus stop 20 m / 2 convenience stores 5 minutes by car) Quiet place We loved the sauna. Some small flaws: missing some utensils, the back room is a little less warm than the rest of the house. We recommend this place.

Thank you for this excellent Finnish interlude. spacious and very pleasant accommodation the bay windows offer a continuous view, day and night, of nature; the forest holds surprises for us, like the reindeer that come to the window in the morning when we wake up i recommend + ++ ++

We had a wonderful stay at Reijo and Minna’s house. The house is exactly as shown in the photos—very clean, cozy, and full of charm. It truly felt like a warm and peaceful retreat in the heart of Lapland. Reijo and Minna are fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. They also gave us great suggestions for local activities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the most unforgettable moments was seeing the Northern Lights right from the property—it was absolutely magnificent and felt like a dream come true. The value for the price is excellent, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area—we’d love to come back someday!

Heikkis place was cozy and perfectly equipped for a perfect ski holiday. It is clear that the host is passionate about skiing and his cabin apartment provides everything you want for a ski adventure. Easy access to exciting ski tours in wilderness park as well as beautiful park-like ski tracks for relaxing rides in incredible lappland winter forest.

Wonderful accommodation with all amenities (indoor and outdoor sauna). Good location - absolutely quiet and secluded and yet in 10 minutes in Rovaniemi.

Blissful area. Lots of enjoyment of the cottage. The sauna is definitely a plus. The owners are very kind and help with everything. I definitely recommend this cottage for people who want to get away for a few days and enjoy each other and the surroundings. Everything is close-by and super quiet.

Responded quickly to inquiries and was flexible when it got closer to the stay and we increased with an extra person. The apartment is so convenient to all the bars, so it was well sheltered at night. But even though it was sheltered, we only took about 5 minutes to walk to the city center. We will be returning.

This lovely apartment was right next to the ski trails and within walking distance of restaurants and ski slopes. The listing was just as it's described. We stayed with four adults and the space was good, I'm sure it was great for a family with children. The apartment was clean and had everything you need to cook. We stayed over Easter, definitely at the busiest time, but the area was peaceful. We thought this place was an excellent value for the price and location. The hosts were also friendly and communication was smooth.

Beautiful stay at the place in Miia. What a nice apartment, we would have stayed much longer because we felt so good there. Miia was very welcoming and we were free to come whenever we wanted. Great activities are offered all around the accommodation, it was really convenient and ideal for us. Thanks for everything!

Really nice place close to town and ski slopes we really enjoyed our stay the the cabin. Think the beds should be made before guests arrive but doesn’t seem to happen maybe in Finland. Highly recommend this place

We had the best Airbnb experience in this place. Every one of us was amazed by the place and the surroundings. So peaceful with everything that you might want to relax and have a beautiful time with friends/family. The jacuzzi, the 2 saunas, the campfires, the reindeers, everything was just above than our own expectations. Totally recommend the place, and wishing to comeback to this paradise on land ♥️.

Our stay at Arcticmint was an incredible experience, the peaceful and picturesque location on a lakeshore was mesmerising. The villa was beautifully appointed and spacious with all the comforts one could need but the star of the stay was our host Jaana, who was so caring, funny and dedicated to making our stay perfect, part of the reason we booked and we were so right in that decision. With experiences such as a delicious Finnish dinner cooked in front of us (whilst we we popping out to look at The Northern Lights) to forest skiing with her brother-in-law Kyle who runs ArcticFox adventures and had such an amazing aspect and passion for nature and the environment, to accompanying us on our snowmobile tour, Jaana was there making it exceptional. Every box was ticked on this Finnish adventure we could not have wished for more.

Beautiful home in a wonderfully rural setting but not far from amenities. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the home on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and on one of those occasions Ville highlighted they were nearby which was kind. The house had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you.

Beautiful house, bright warm, view of the frozen lake, quiet. we were able to see northern lights almost every night from the house, we slept. great!

We had a wonderful stay in Suvi's fantastic chalet Ideally located on the edge of the forest in a quiet, peaceful and enchanting environment, the chalet is spacious and very well decorated. We were able to take advantage of the peaceful setting to work and do lots of activities. Suvi is very responsive and very kindly granted us a late check-out to accommodate us. We'll be back with pleasure!
