Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lao Cai

Overall, the place was very beautiful. It was a nice place to stay if you want to chill and stay at home. If you have plans to go to the city, the place is about 45 mins away and the road is a bit rough and rocky. The host was also very helpful especially in booking a taxi for us to and from the place.

I really loved this homestay. Very nice and cosy place, bit away from the city but close to reach any stores and restaurants. You can start hiking straight from the house. Calm neighborhood. Especially appreciated warm welcome from the host, all her help and hospitality.

A lovely stay! We enjoyed ourselves so much❤️ The place is surrounded of beautiful nature and is outside the city center. Perfect for unplugging. We had all our meals here and there was very good food! The heat in the mattress was a plus🙌🏼 Recommend booking trekking through them- Pang was such a nice guide🙌🏼 So nice service! We love our stay❤️

This has been one of our favourite places we’ve stayed while travelling in Vietnam. Super friendly hosts, beautiful surroundings, peaceful & quiet. The bed was so comfy. They have two adorable cats and the sweetest puppy. Also super convenient having their cafe open to order drinks & food. Definitely recommend this place !!

We had the most incredible stay at Blue Bird Homestay, and it was all thanks to our wonderful hosts, Luna and Ðau. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome, like we were part of their family. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious beef noodles—hands down some of the best we’ve ever had! We also absolutely loved spending time with their adorable pets, who added so much joy to our days. Whether it was playful moments or just the comforting presence of furry friends, they made the homestay feel even more like home. Another unforgettable experience was the indigo dyeing class. Learning about the traditional techniques and getting hands-on with the dyeing process was both fascinating and fun. Luna shared her knowledge with so much passion, making the workshop an incredibly special and immersive experience. Everything about Blue Bird Homestay was perfect!

Hop is very nice and accommodating. Two tips for new guests: look for the BB Homestay signage and contact the host via WApp before going to Ta Van so she can send you the pinned location. I give her perfect stars. If you need a transportation to Sa Pa, please message the host as she will be the one who’ll contact the nice drivers.

I had a wonderful stay at Rock Garden Homestay in Sapa! Even though the weather was cloudy and I couldn’t see the mountain views, the peaceful atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the hosts made it a memorable experience. The homestay itself is charming and cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ensuring I felt at home. They prepared delicious meals that were perfect for the chilly weather, and their kindness truly brightened my trip. While I missed the famous mountain views due to the clouds, the serene surroundings and cool mist added a unique charm to the experience. It felt like being in a quiet, hidden retreat far away from the busy world. I highly recommend Rock Garden Homestay for anyone visiting Sapa. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, even if the weather isn’t perfect. I hope to come back someday and catch those stunning views!

We really enjoyed Mama Gia's hospitality! We almost felt as part of the family. The rooms are new and of nice bamboo material with a great view over the rice fields. We got great advice both before the travel as also for our further trip. They were really caring! But the thing we most enjoyed was the family dinner. We got a lot of interesting informations and probably the best food we had so far in Vietnam with rice from the family's own fields.

Our stay was amazing!!! The rooms were super clean, the bed was comfy, and the surrounding area was beautiful. The staff helped us with everything: arranging taxi’s, arranging tours, etc.. They were really friendly and stayed in contact with us throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay here. Compound was very clean and neat, beds were surprisingly comfortable. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend this to anyone seeking a pleasant yet inexpensive stay at Sapa Town.

This place is perfect for me! Away from the busy city, it is an escape for solo travellers in the process of grieving a lost one(like me) or getting over a painful break up. Total privacy, no TV, outside balcony that you can smoke freely while listening to the gush of water flow of river. The best thing is that the room has an electric heater that keeps the bed warm in the cold weather.Hot water works well. However, if u expect proactive clean up, available food, existence of refrigerator, interaction with friendly humans etc this might not be ideal. They even set up a desk in my room when I needed to attend a work call. And the view is overlooking mountains is just so amazing!

If you would like to enjoy a bit of peace and hiking, this is definitely the place to be! Dinh and her family are very nice and helpful. They took great care of us and we felt very comfortable. The view will be beautiful too! A visit here is definitely worth seeing.

Our stay was wonderful. The place is located in a peaceful area in Sapa, 30 minutes from the town. The staff are always ready to assist with safe transport to and from the town at a very fair price. There was plenty to see in the area though, with beautiful nature, lovely cafés, and restaurants nearby. We actually enjoyed staying in the local area the most and simply soaking in the tranquility meanwhile talking with locals and other people travelling. The staff were very helpful with food and anything else we needed. All of them were so nice and flexible when we needed something. The place also serves delicious food! You can enjoy your meal on the terrace next to the fireplace while enjoying the view. The room was clean, and their air conditioning is crucial if you visit during the colder months. If you’re looking to stay outside of the town, we would 100% recommend this place and recommend exploring the local area as well.
