Beautiful lodging! Even nicer than website Heating, once we understood the (very simple) system, very comfortable. Amenities were excellent. The local area is beautiful and Northern Rail station a 7 minute walk. Highly recommend, it is more like your home than an apartment.

Having never stayed in an Air B&B before, I did not know what to expect. As someone who frequently travels and usually stays at hotels, I decided for a change. This turned out to be a perfect place to stay. It was like home from home. Immaculately clean, warm and quiet. As someone who has stayed in countless B&B's, Hotels and Motels, this is by far the nicest place I have stayed at. I don't think I have ever felt as relaxed staying somewhere on my travels. The apartment was modern and spacious. David was a great host, and communicated with me quickly and efficiently when I messaged him during my visit. I regularly visit this area, and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else now I have discovered this hidden gem.

Julie’s place is lovely. She has thought of all the useful things, from clear instructions and coffees and fresh milk in the fridge. The place was spotless and well equipped with lovely comfortable furnishings. It was easy to check in and we felt we had a very good amount of privacy. Julie was helpful when we had to change a date at relatively short notice and checked how we had settled in. The location was perfect for visiting Lytham high street and local shops and restaurants. Overall a great stay and we will definitely look here next time we stay in the area!

Regular visitor to Cartmel and the Apt on the square. Absolutely love the accommodation and the location. Great host, very responsive, few bits and pieces needing attention in the apartment - but Scott informed us these are being dealt with. Love the little extras, M&S snacks and wine, wood for the fire. Never disappoints, the perfect Christmas getaway.

My travel plans were cancelled due to a Red Weather Warning & 100mph winds - luckily my friend also staying at the property didn’t suffer cancelled trains, etc like I did. Kerry showed absolutely understanding of the situation, and my friend enjoyed their stay.

Lovely place to stay! Ray and sue have been great hosts, they left us some beers in the fridge and sent a message a few days before we arrived to explain it all. We carry out a lot of work in the area and would be more than happy to stay again if they will have us. 😊

Lovely place, just as described. We went for my wife's birthday and Lisa had put decorations up and chocolates on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Got snowed in at first and Lisa offered to go and get essentials for us if needed. The snow made it even more special, especially with the log fire. The accommodation was very clean and had everything you need. Would love to go back in summer and use the balcony, with gorgeous views. We took our dog with us, there are lovely walks on the doorstep and a garden for guests use. We had dinner at a country pub nearby, The Shooters Arms, which was really nice, also log fire in the pub. Overall great stay, the place is beautiful, hosts really helpful and friendly and can't wait to go back.

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.
