What a fantastic place! I can't imagine there are places in the same price category that can offer as much as Orestay Homestay does. Nice and clean big rooms, comfy beds and pillows, fast internet, new TV's, helpful and really friendly hosts, great breakfast, relaxing atmosphere in the garden. I've been traveling for a month and this was definitely the place where I got most value for my money. A perfect place to stay for a couple of days if you're visiting Ha Long.

Great place with lots of amenities. We enjoyed swimming, Karaoke & other games a lot.

The place was clean and spacious. Air con was very good and there were fans everywhere. Linh was in touch with us the entire time, she suggested great local restaurants, helped us with taxis since we were 5 people and was hard to find a 6 seater. She even helped us pay when we had no more local cash. I have yet to meet a more responsive, kind and considerate host in all my years of travel. She helped us get to places, recommended activities and suggested a great cruise (I compared it with others, it was the best one). She booked it for us. The only thing we were unaware was that the ground floor with the bunk beds had an outside shower in a sort of enclosed porch ( There was a toilet right next to the room inside the apartment. Just the shower was outside, with walls and a roof but still outside ). Every other room has ensuite bathroom

Very beautiful room and scenery, the interior is spacious and bright, the decor is cozy and beautiful, the balcony is a great place to see the view, both sea and city view, the view is wide, it is a perfect living experience, recommended for everyone to choose🥰🥰🥰

We were a large group of 15 people and really enjoyed the time at the place. The price is very divided by such a large group and the accommodation convinces in all points. We didn't have such clean bathrooms, beds and kitchen anywhere else in Vietnam. Gorgeous house and incredibly friendly hosts! Always easy to reach, reply within minutes via Airbnb. A quick solution was found for every question and they were also able to help with renting motorbikes. We enjoyed the stay, highly recommend the house and would be happy to come back!

Pham was a very kind and accommodating host. She was very easy to communicate with when I needed to change my reservation dates. I would recommend renting a scooter or motor bike if you’re staying here, as there is no Grab on the island. Great place to stay if you are looking to get off the main path a little, but still a short drive to town. Lovely views from the main road and a beach walking distance away. They also have a menu and cook very good food.

If you like nature, you’ll enjoy staying here, it’s off the beaten track and surrounded by jungle near the National Park. If you need help getting there and back: the friendly staff can help with arranging airport or ferry pick up/ drop offs. For a quiet getaway there was so much more on offer than I was expecting - a fully stocked, quiet bar; small restaurant for breakfast and more; many chill out areas including a pool table and swimming pool. We hired mopeds from the eco lodge and also booked a wonderful boat trip (the islands we visited were beautiful - we were the only boat there, plus the captain cooked us the best food ever). My thanks go out to Kien and his great team of staff for making this trip one to remember.

Very friendly and accomodating host. Huong answered questions promptly and was very helpful. The place is close to restaurants and the harbor. Huong was a accomodating with a short notice date change and we really appreciated that.

Because of some prevailing maintenance issue, we were shifted to another apartment (Rosy house). We stayed there for about 2 weeks. Pros: - Bedroom was nice, view was beautiful and amazing overlooking the city from 25th Floor along with partial sea view. You can even see beautiful sunrise in the early morning. Bed was strong and comfortable for sleeping. The room itself seems to have decent soundproofing and also nicely decorated. - Bathroom was modern, shower had a good pressure. - The sofa seating was also comfortable for watching Tv. - They also had a service balcony where washing machine is kept with drying rack, which came in handy. - The house has nice decorations, a lot of books are there for display. - The kitchen is stacked with all basic cooking appliances and cutlery. - The apartment building itself was nice. A nice landscape area to walk between both towers A & B. There are 2 mini marts situated at the ground which used to close by 12am at night and also opened early morning. There also 2 Winmarts in closed vicinity and surrounding neighborhood is also nice to walk around. - The communication with the host was also great and responded to all queries in time. Cons: - Major insects issues in both Kitchen and bathroom areas. After complaining, the host said that it is because of wet weather and provided us with an inspect spray which was not a satisfactory solution. No matter how many insects we kill, they kept on coming and tend to contaminate our food also (as we used to do cooking ourselves). - Stinking smell issue which came from the Kitchen sink. The sink tap handle was also broken. If you are working late, the smell used to increase a lot at night (even with AC on) to an extent that makes it uncomfortable to sit in the living area (Bedroom was only escape). - The society is situated a bit far from the downtown and major attractions of Ha Long. Grab is difficult to get but other taxis are easily available. If you want to explore other side of the bridge starting from Vincom Plaza mall (which is 12km) towards Hon Gai beach (17km), then it can be very expensive as busses are not very much available and you have to only rely on taxis. Overall, we had a good stay. Since we were looking for cheaper options, this apartment offered us value for money.
