Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Travis

Three girlfriends and I stayed at Drew's cabin for a fun weekend in Spicewood and Marble Falls. Drew was very helpful and responsive when we had questions and the check-in and check-out procedures were easy and well communicated. We cooked dinner and breakfast both days and didn't have any issues with the amenities. The cabin was perfect for us.

Beautiful property, very relaxing, and enough beds for our group. We had a wonderful time here.

It was clean and a lot of space for big families and has everything you need and I recommend it I would like to go back.

This cozy cabin by the lake was just perfect for a weekend couples getaway. Close enough to all the things Austin has to offer and a private space to leave the windows open and enjoy the amazing view. Pictures are other reviews are spot on. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for hosting us.

We loved staying here so much. The decor was very thoughtfully done and gave us some inspiration even! Not a negative, but the pictures don't do the space justice. It has several very open and inviting lounge areas that just can't be conveyed realistically on camera. We would absolutely recommend your house for friends.

This is a great spot if you're looking to be within close proximity to the Austin metro area but still experience that Hill Country beauty. The log cabin feel is great during the winter.

My partner and I attended a friend’s wedding and thought this was a cute getaway that wasn’t too far from town. Perfect place to wind down at the end of a wedding with everything we needed. Cozy cabin with a porch/creek for morning coffee. Just what we needed. Jennifer has a beautiful place and I’d love to be back!

We rented this cabin on the fly (literally) my husband and I were looking for quick getaways for a much needed vacation and time away from the norm and it was my bday weekend as well. We had never heard of Burton, TX or Log Country Cabins and are both Texas natives but we are so glad that we came across it on our search and decided to give it a try. The cabin itself was just as described and looked like the photos online and the location of the cabin was amazing. The views were amazing, access to the lake and creek for fishing was just steps away from the cabin and the common area and peaceful park were just steps away too. The weather was perfect and it was not peak season so it also felt secluded and private and not too crowded which is what we were looking for! We had an amazing time disconnecting from the everyday and re connecting with each other! We enjoyed every bit of it & will be returning soon!!

The cabin felt very welcoming. For a 1BR 1BA it is very spacious. It was stocked with everything that you would need. Rudy and Sharon helped us feel right at home and even had a small batch of cookies on the counter for us when we arrived. There were extra mattresses available to accommodate our family of 5 and a portable pack and play for my infant. My kids loved seeing the zebra and donkey (Stars and Stripes) & they really enjoyed playing on the swing and zip line. The view from the cliff is beautiful and the 5 minute hike down to the river is well worth it. We took lots of photos and lounged on the hammock down there. It was a wonderful, peaceful stay. We are hoping to visit again in the warmer months so we can enjoy all the amenities for the river and the pool. Highly recommend 10/10.

Nice private entrance with a gate, great looking outdoor area, a campfire and a hot tub. Perfect stay for a few nights.

"D" Cabin on the Lake was a little treasure! We stayed here with 4 boys (ages 7-15) and one dog and all of us went to bed exhausted and thoroughly happy every day! From the great fishing (an assortment of bass, catfish, and bluegills), to boating, to paddle boarding (the river is a short trip down the channel), to just sitting and enjoying the afternoon it was fantastic. The cabin looks small but even with 6 people we never felt cramped or crowded preparing and eating meals, watching a movie, or just relaxing in bed. We had a great weekend and will be back!

We were in town to have dinner at Bryan’s on 290 for Valentines day / Wife’s Bday. The place is very well maintained, the property is on the Pedernales River. My only issue (my fault did not see this in the description, but it is there) is that the bathrooms are located outside the cabin. At the end of the day, we were very happy with the cabin and the location. We plan to come back and bring family / friends along. My only suggestions would be to have a table height grill like many other campgrounds. Cooking on the ground (firepit) will be tough when you have a big fire going. There is no firewood provided. Most times we stay at places they will mention if they provide or bring firewood. Not an issue for us, we did not plan on a fire, but wanted to let other guests be aware bring your own firewood. And also word to other guests, the campground also hosts a number of RVs. I am betting during busy season, it gets very busy. Although this worked really well for us, summer will be busy.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Definitely recommend it to anyone for a quiet, clean place, beautiful scenery and close to town!

This is a great place for multiple groups or a large family with kids (or teenagers). There was lots of space to spread out, lots of activities on the property, the rooms were really nice. I really can’t say enough good things about it. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding areas but it is a short drive if you want to go anywhere. That comes with a really quiet, peaceful property. While we were staying, we saw several deer, which was really cool. Jaudet was really responsive with any questions we had as well. It’s a great property. I’d definitely book it again.

This house was perfect for our romantic getaway. Everything was perfect. The house was comfortable and homey yet modern and clean feeling. The bed was so comfortable I slept like I was home. It was secluded and quiet. The hot tub worked great as well. We would definitely go here again if we wanted to unplug and get away. The host was helpful and responsive. Ten out of ten for sure.

We had such a great stay! It was unexpectedly freezing so we made use of the fireplace and of course the hot tub, which was great. The cabin was much bigger than we were expecting - the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s all so beautifully decorated as well. Perfect for a couple and our young kid. Had such a cosy time and wish we had longer! Hopefully we’ll get to come back some day

This has definitely become a favorite of mine & my fiancé. This is exactly what we are looking for when we want peace & quiet. Super cozy and in a great location!! We would love to come come back :)

My friend and I stayed for two nights with my dog and had an amazing time! The location was remote and peaceful just how we were hoping. The house was clean and the decor was so fun and unique. The views were stunning even in winter and we got to enjoy a full moon in the hot tub! My friend forgot two personal items in the house, and Cristina was kind enough to facilitate them being shipped back to her. 10/10 and hopefully will come back someday 😊

Beautiful! Lovely retreat for the weekend, close enough to Austin to be very easy but still felt like a vacation! The screened in porch is the star of the show!

We loved our short stay at the cottage. Only regret is we could not stay longer. It was quiet and peaceful. The beds are super comfortable. The shower is amazing. The setup in the kitchen area is perfect for a couple. There was even a washer and dryer. Having said all of that, the outside space was our favorite. Beautiful during the day and night. Nothing more you could ask for. 10/10 recommend.

Our stay at NowHere cabin was truly magical and an experience we will cherish forever. We were captivated by the breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. The hosts went above and beyond to make our engagement extra special, with beautiful decorations that added a heartfelt touch to our celebration. The cabin was cozy, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. We loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars, unwinding by the fire pit, and swaying in the hammock while taking in the stunning surroundings. The fresh coffee provided was a wonderful treat. One of the best parts was being able to bring our pup Praline, who absolutely loved exploring the area with us. The privacy and seclusion of the cabin made it feel like our own little retreat, and it was exactly what we needed to disconnect and celebrate such a special mile stone.
