Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Lake Superior

A beautiful location right on Lake Superior! It was a short drive to both Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor and to other popular destinations on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Since it's a duplex, you can hear the neighbors when they're slamming doors or have the TV volume up high but otherwise, it was an ideal location and accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay at Jinell’s Airbnb. Her home was clean , new, well equipped and is in a great location. Spacious area for our three families as well as plenty of bed space for sleeping. Quiet area with a nice trail close by for running and biking. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

This was my 2nd time staying at Viewpoint. It’s perfect for a family getaway with our 8 and 12 year old kids, as well as a weekend girls trip. Cozy, great vibe, beautiful setting, and cleaner than the average rental (couldn’t even spot a dust bunny). I almost don’t want to leave a good review because I want to keep this place a secret!

We loved our time at the mountain top chalet! The house was cozy and clean and in a great location to enjoy everything fall in the UP has to offer. I would highly recommend staying here!

We were a group of 9 adults and Jess and Paul’s place is perfect for a large group. It is very difficult to find enough sleeping spaces, so this worked out perfectly for us. The hosts are very responsive and proactively communicated with us. The property manager apartment is connected to the house, but we had our own space and there is privacy. The amenities are awesome, the sauna was TOASTY! We loved long evenings by the fire outside. Amazing access to trails - both easy and challenging. Grand Marais is just 5 minutes down the road. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience!

Simple cabin right near the Brule River. It was comfortable and had a nice kitchen. With the snow, it definitely beat camping. Its proximity to fishing locations is why I chose it. Definitely made it easy to get on the river early.

We love staying here for our annual ski trip to the ABR trails. You can ski right from the cabin which you can’t beat. House is great for cooking meals and cozying up to watch holiday movies when not skiing. The house is equipped with a great mud room and lots of hooks throughout the house to dry out ski clothes. Thanks again for a great stay!

Great host and location for a quick family stay. We really enjoyed the sheep and our interactions with bandit. House was great for us.

Very nice place, just right for TDay stay with hikes at nearby state parks. The snow each day was pretty and place stayed warm enough. Had more amenities than expected. Other than linens (towel, bed stuff…I brought a sleeping bag for ease)…it’s all there. Can take short walk to river or see it from balcony. Did not use sauna but bet that would be good. Nice.

I have so many positive things to say about this home. Barbara is a fantastic host, her son is helpful and friendly. The home, pond, gazebo and acreage are amazing. Lots of trails just behind the cabin, connecting to state forest trails. This is our second time staying at Barbs place and will totally return in the future.

I stayed this past weekend for a funeral. And I’d come back! Granted, I’m from Kingsford so I know the area. But this place is a little jewel. They even had a fire pit, with pre cut wood. What a thoughtful amenity! The host was responsive/ property clean. Everything an Airbnb should be. Kudos! 🙌🏻👍🏻 All said, a couple of minor small observations. -Dust the dining room chairs, especially the rails. (I inspected hotel rooms for 20+ yrs.). ☺️🤷‍♂️ -That sliding door didn’t instill confidence. -An electronic lock with a code would be awesome. -T-mobile internet. ($55 per mth). The hosts were responsive and it was a nice place, with all you needed on hand. The home is in a neighborhood and the only neighbors I saw were some college guys across the street. It is located just a short drive to campus and downtown which is convenient to go out and get food or it was a 20 minute drive to some pretty beaches on Lake Superior. Overall I had a nice stay for the week while working in the area.

We had a lovely stay in a warm October weekend! The house is super clean and stays cozy even when it was chilly at night. The property is beautiful and it’s located a short drive from a great beach!

The Bunkhouse exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, relaxing, and clean. We enjoyed being right on the lake, walking in the woods, a warm campfire, and the sauna! The internet allowed us to stream a Lynx basketball game, the porch offered quiet reading space, and the pullout sofa afforded restful sleep. Our old dog loved the calm outdoors and “Back 40”. We can’t wait to come back!

This home was so beautiful with unique details like the nook with the hand carved door. The kitchen had everything you could ever need to cook (we made a full thanksgiving dinner). This place really felt like a family cabin not a commercial property. The sounds of the creek and the cute little bridge were so calming. The bonfire was great for s’mores and the grill came in handy for our grilling. The heated flooring was a dream for those chilly mornings! The beds were very comfortable and the views from the family room are unbeatable. The Lake Superior waves and beach area were beautiful. We look forward to coming back and seeing what summer here will be like.

Adorable cabin in the woods! Clean, cozy, had everything we needed. Perfect weekend get away for me and my BF. Sauna was awesome after a day of hiking in the cold. Fire stove was cozy to sit by. You get the quite remote cabin in the woods feel yet you're only 15 minutes from Marquette.

A magical winter wonderland! We loved our stay in Paradise, unwinding in front of beautiful windows looking out onto Lake Superior provided a very cozy atmosphere. Seeing our favorite freighters was a bonus and the cabin is well appointed with binoculars! We'd absolutely come back in any season. Highly recommend booking a ticket to Jim and Melinda's place in Paradise.

We have stayed at this cabin in the past and it is beginning to feel like home. The group has such a great time here! It is roomy and works so well for larger groups. The host, Stacy, is so responsive and easy to work with. She really does care that you are having a great experience when staying here. Five star experience every time!

Our large three-generation family group had plenty of room to comfortably spread out between the somwhat dated but clean, homey cabins. What worked out great for us was that the three families with children ages 1-12 and earlier wake up times were able to use the larger space while the smaller cabin accomodated the couples without children and allowed a bit of liesurely vacation sleep-in time. We prepared and ate our communal meals in the larger kitchen and spread beyond the big table to plentiful seating on the large deck. The view from the deck was lovely and the walk to the lake and dock easy going for all ages. We swam every day either from the sandy, pebbly entry to the water or from jumping off the dock and swimming out to the swim pad. The water was clean and relatively free of weeds close in to the dock area. The lake was peaceful and we made plenty of use of the pontoon, canoe and sit-on kayak, caught fish, and never felt crowded. Katelyn was super to work with.
