Perfect stay! It’s exactly as described! It had more room inside than we expected even. Everything on the grounds was cleaner than expected and they were in the process of updating/adding to the grounds it appeared. Check in was smooth and easy. We loved the stay!! It was within 20 minutes of the things we were there to do. Two night stay with 5, 7, and 9 yo kids who just loved it as well. The bathrooms were clean! Definitely pack bug spray, saw some of the biggest mosquitos! We also saw chipmunks and turkeys from the porch.

It is a beautiful location, a great place to ice fish, a clean and tidy cabin, and the pricing was great for the weekend! Very considerate and caring, they offered my group a side-by-side to make the commute from the cabin to the lake a lot easier! Planning a trip in the summer here!

It was my first time in the UP for the winter! Dave’s place was the perfect spot for our day trips around the Keweenaw peninsula. On our way to L’Anse it started snowing and Dave checked to make sure we made it and to let us know they were going to plow the driveway in the morning. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here as a winter x-country ski getaway with friends. Very cabin-y feeling (in the best way!) Kitchen worked well for us, sauna was hot, and the beds were comfy!

Absolutely gorgeous setting right on the lake. The home was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we would need. We will certainly stay here again.

Scott's cabin is amazing, it's even better than the pictures. He was also very gracious and communicative for everything we needed while we were there. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Our stay was excellent and for anyone looking to bike the local trails, this is an ideal location. The property was exactly as advertised and it was very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The house was perfect for our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 teenagers). We especially enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, frisbee, and the chess table.

We enjoyed the cute house so much. Very clean, nice beds, it had many thoughtful items for us such as extra kitchen items and blankets, tea and coffee, salt and pepper. Great location by the lake. We were there in early November and had great weather but still too chilly to use patio or grill. It would be great to be there in different weather to use outside stuff. Lots to do and easy to get around. Great stay all the way around. Highly recommend!

The Lake Cottage was exactly as pictured - clean, nostaglic, modernized amentities and loads of vintage charge. We booked last minute for a New Years Eve hurrah with my husband and two children (ages 3 & 8), and my only regret is not staying longer. We snowboarded, ice-fished, played board games, did puzzles... and simply enjoyed our time together. It was restorative and the cottage is conducive to slowing down and savoring each moment. The property (albiet Winter) was spacious and felt private, tucked down the long(er) drive with a single neighbor in sight. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10, will probably book again!

This was an amazing place to see northern Michigan. The place was clean, organized and had more than enough amenities provided! James and Dawn are wonderful hosts!

We stayed here for the Pond Hockey tournament and booked it last minute after someone cancelled their reservation and oh my goodness did we luck out! What an amazing home, so spacious, cozy, and quiet. I will absolutely be trying to make this our place to stay year after year when we head up to eagle river for the tourney!

We stayed here with my family and three little kids. The master specifically has a large closet so we were able to put a pack and play in there and leave the door cracked. Perfect spot for a baby to nap! The beach was the perfect spot. We played in the sand and the water is clean and shallow with a firm sandy bottom. The living space was lovely and lots of space for the kids to play while we made meals. The only down side would be the amount of stairs, but that wasn't a huge issue. We will be back!

My wife, dog and I stayed a week over the winter to get out of the city. Great place right on Lake Superior and next to the porkies. The Finnish sauna on the beach is unreal. We had such a blast we rented the place in the summer. Would highly recommend.

This was our first Airbnb, our overall state was fantastic. Was only one small issue the night of check-in the property manager came right away fixed it, no other problems the rest of our stay. Very beautiful home with great views, had everything we needed in the kitchen.

An excellent place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and great trails to walk. Extra added fun if the Rock Garden Bar happens to open.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family ski vacation. Bob's place was comfortable, warm, and clean. We loved the fireplaces and hot tub after our ski days and the kitchen offed ample space for us all (9) to enjoy time together. Bob's place has a great view of Powderhorn Mountain.

We were so happy to stay at this cabin! It was very cozy and warm which was great because we got a snow storm. The cabin had everything we needed and was very homey! We would definitely recommend to anyone else to stay there. We would like to come back in the summer so we could use the nice fire pit!

This was an amazing place to stay with family to celebrate a winter holiday weekend. Beautiful, private location that was a quick drive into Minocqua for groceries and anything else you may want. Huge living spaces to gather all together and it was amazing to have full bathrooms in each bedroom. Only slight negatives were one bed that was very sunken in the middle (but thankfully we had a younger adult staying with is whose back could handle it!) and some difficulties figuring out what each light switch did. Overall, it was an incredible place to stay in the winter, with great accommodations for 5 adults, and I can imagine it being an even more incredible place to stay in the summer months to enjoy the small private lake.

Our girls weekend at Hillary’s was lovely! So peaceful and relaxing! We spent hours at the fire pit. We enjoyed the resort amenities. The place was so adorable. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the Danbury area. I really loved that there was a piece of artwork from the owner hanging in the living room. That was a cool touch! Thanks Hillary for a fantastic stay!

We hadn't been to back since 2022 and LOVED being back. Everything was perfect! We enjoy all seasons on the North Shore and Croftville is the perfect location to hear and watch the waves. We also appreciated the quiet setting and quick access to hiking and ski trails. The decor and the sustainable usage of materials that went into creating this space is greatly appreciated! We will be back, Doug and Mary
