Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Starnberg

Beautiful, well equipped and clean house in a very quiet neighbourhood that's close to train station. Has off street parking too. Hosts always contactable. Would thoroughly recommend if visiting Munich with friends.

The house offers the perfect opportunity to spend a cozy weekend or even longer. Such well-equipped kitchens are rare, there is even a pizza oven that we tried directly. Very cozy beds and furnishings. We felt very comfortable.

The cozy wooden cottage was lovely. A great atmosphere, we immediately felt at home. It had everything you needed. The surroundings are perfect for walking / hiking. The garden is really beautiful, as is the view. Roderich was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. It was also perfect for our dogs. We will be happy to come back!

Everything went well. The house also has a great garden to relax and for children to play.

The stay was fantastic! The place was super clean, exactly as described and offered everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The location is ideal – quiet yet close to all major attractions. Katja is a super nice hostess. Very nice simple farm. Our children loved the house and surroundings. Very good starting point for tours and hikes in the Allgäu. Gladly come back.

We were lucky to get this place at quite short notice as we spontaneously agreed to go on a trip. 2 adults and 2 children were there. The place offers more than enough space to accommodate everyone. Theoretically, there would have been room for another person. The village where the place is located is very nice. Everything is within walking distance. The Lech that flows there invites you to take long walks. Beautiful area there. All other attractions are super easy and quick to reach by car. Even the initial doubts that there is no TV in the accommodation (the smaller participants have this) made us very nervous. But at no time was that missed. All in all, we are very glad to have had a place to stay from Micha. Who, by the way, is super nice and always available should there be any questions. I/We can only recommend it

I had the pleasure of staying at this place and can only recommend it. The location is excellent, so you can easily reach everything. In addition, the apartment is very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. You're right at home. It's definitely worth staying here – an all-round pleasant experience!

Nice, very clean apartment in a great and quiet location! We had a lovely weekend there and enjoyed the tranquility. The landlord's brother lived above the apartment, but that didn't bother, because he is very nice! Communication and check-in worked out great. The Christian decoration may take some getting used to for younger people, but otherwise everything was GREAT! Highlighted are the new and super clean bathroom and a perfectly furnished kitchen!

Katrin's place is just worth every penny! Very quiet location and very nice neighborhood. The place is even nicer than in the pictures and so far the cleanest Air BnB we've been to. Everything was just perfect. A fully equipped kitchen where really nothing is missing. Very cozy and comfortably furnished, especially with the fireplace. Very easy check-in, everything described in detail and quickly accessible for inquiries (which actually can no longer arise). Private parking right in front of the property is also available. We will be happy to come back!

A super nice, cozy apartment where we felt very comfortable. Ideal for a few cozy, quiet days in the Allgäu. Especially the oven contributed to the coziness, but we were always provided with enough firewood. The living and sleeping area in the accommodation is only separated by an open passage and not by a door. But we found our own workarounds. The accommodation is beautifully located on the outskirts of the village and you can immediately immerse yourself in nature, go for walks and bike rides. A great starting point for adventures big and small. We felt very comfortable, were very warmly welcomed and the communication both in advance and on site was great!

Had a nice stay. Everything was clean and linens and towels were fresh. The area is peaceful, with stores nearby. Cooking supplies and a coffee maker were included.

Staying with Andrea was amazing. This was by far my best AirBnB experience: warmest hosts as well as a great place to stay that has everything you need to feel comfortable. 100 out of 100 points. I'm very glad to have come across Margaret. She answered my questions very quickly! The property is located in the idyllic Apfeldorf near the Ammersee. You can park under a carport and have a separate entrance to the apartment. Everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped! I will definitely return! :)

We had a stay with 4 adults and 3 children. The house was very large with spacious rooms and plenty of parking. All the amenities were available and it was really clean. The only downside… the same period has already been booked next year.

The house is very nice, large and modern. We felt very comfortable. What you should know, the room upstairs is open. The room downstairs has a large glass door that doesn't really close, large gaps to the right and left of the door. So if someone snores upstairs you can hear it downstairs, especially if you hear as well as I do and are sensitive. Thus, the 2 rooms only gave us something to a limited extent. Otherwise, but everything is really great!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nicholas’s house. The countryside is beautiful and there are totally stunning views of the mountains from the back of the house. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, and my nephew enjoyed saying hello to the chickens. The bedrooms were generously sized and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine room was essential and very welcome for our family after muddy walks. It was great how close a few walking trails were to the lake and across the moor, and the town is walkable too, with a good selection of a few local shops and larger supermarket for groceries. Even on the rainy days, the house was a very peaceful place to spend time and the large smart tv and games cupboard was a blessing for adults and toddler alike. Special thanks to the caretakers who helped make our stay especially comfortable with thoughtful recommendations and guidance when we needed it about the house.

We came and stayed at Madsen’s place for a week while attending Bauma in Munich. The place was fantastic! It was very clean and had plenty of room. It is a short walk away from a grocery store and several good places to eat. The train station is about a 15 to 20 minute walk based upon pace but it is in a very quiet and safe area. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we comeback to Munich. Thank you Madsen for being such an excellent host.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.
