Monthly Rentals in Lake on the Mountain

This is a rare find perfect place to relax and recharge. The place is fully equipped, the view is simply amazing. The host also goes above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. So look forward to coming back again.

Great location for our first time in PEC and in the Spring. We wanted something outside of town with water views and this delivered. Arriving at Desta feels like coming somewhere you’ve been before and the nights were very quiet. Only a 5 minute drive from downtown Picton to grab a croissant & latte in the morning or dinner in the evenings. There is no fenced in yard for pups (as mentioned in the listing) but there is a large outdoor space to bring them out on leash. Brenda was very informative and friendly, she knows the area extremely well (especially about dog friendly places!).

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage on the water. The home is decorated beautifully and the views were spectacular. It was colder when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space. Even so, it was nice to just sit on the couch or the window seat looking out at the water. Dinner at Bocado in Picton was amazing, as well as the pot pies at Quaich & Banter.

This was a great little place to stay. Had everything we needed and David communicated well. We loved the view, enjoyed wine watching the sunset and a coffee watching the ferry. Thank you!
