Yvonne responded to texts within minutes answering any of our questions and was extremely accommodating to make our stay perfect. The beautiful little touches like the Xmas tree and Xmas music playing when we arrived made us feel very welcome. She provided everything we needed and some extras that we didn’t expect. Thank you Yvonne and family for making our stay so pleasant and such fun!

James is a great host and the accomodations were just as described. The place was clean and very cool. The entire place was peaceful and really unique (in a good way). We were in town for a fishing trip and the place had plenty of room to park the boat and charge the batteries. We will be back for sure!

We had a lovely stay and my youngest daughter is already asking when we can go back. The home is beautifully kept. It was well-stocked. The kitchen is amazing! The property is enormous. The farm animals are really fun. It was a total success. There were only two minor things that don't even qualify as negatives. One, if you aren't used to well water, it may be a surprise. But, listen, the home is on a farm. Of course it's on a well. The other thing is that the bedrooms don't have real curtains so if you are sensitive to sunlight in the morning, then don't plan on sleeping in. But honestly, it's so nice there, I'm not sure why you'd want to waste your morning sleeping.

The place was simple, peaceful, and lovely. Sitting on the porch was great for working and reading. Our visit was in dry season, so the beautiful small "pond" in front of the house was dry, but beautiful nonetheless. We had come to the area for blowing rocks and Jonathan Dickenson state park, but stumbled upon the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary which is just near the house. VERY worth the visit if you like nature and animals - wonderfully done, very clean, and free with donations accepted. The location is a bit away from most other things, but that makes it perfectly peaceful, even walking around the neighborhood was a peaceful place to meander in the evening. Something to note about the location is that traffic from the coast is a bit heavy seemingly most times of day. Just might take a bit longer than expected when coming from the ocean.

It was very cozy an quiet with a beautiful view of the water , we will definitely be planning a trip again.
