Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake of Egypt

The hosts were very accommodating and super quick to respond about anything. This is our second year to stay here it was just a lovely as the first year. Can’t wait to go back every year and bring our family next time!

Very easy to get to from SIU-C. I was only there overnight but would enjoy staying longer. There was food for breakfast in the refrigerator that I did not use but was a nice touch.

This was a great place for us as we were hiking in the Shawnee National Forest. It was centrally located to all the trails we visited. We will definitely stay at any one of her properties if we come back this way.

We needed a family friendly place to stay for the Tunnel Hill 100 race in Vienna. This was a great fit for the family and was a very easy drive to the race start/finish.

Very relaxing, beautiful scenery. Cabin was perfect for a get-a-way! A zebra at the front porch was a great surprise our first morning!

We loved this hidden little cottage tucked away in the woods. So close to awesome nature and So. IL wine country. Host's were great and communicated well. Fireplace and hot tub was great for some cozy nights. Loved this place.

The Woodhaven cabin was great for our family holiday. The place is beautiful and comfortable and the surrounding area is also very nice.

Such a nice little cabin for a little getaway to enjoy some peace and quiet. Cabin is in a very nice location with a lot of beautiful scenery. Cody was very responsive and helpful with getting this booked for me. Can’t wait to book with them again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely spot. The cabin is cozy and well equipped, and the view from the hill where it's situated is just outstanding. Most of all, the cabin and its setting are peaceful and serene, offering an ideal getaway from the big city.

Tom's cabin is a great place to stay for some peace and quiet, with easy access to nearby attractions. Hiking at Garden of the Gods is a ~1 hour drive, and Giant City State Park and all the southern IL wineries are within 30 minutes. The solo stove and hot tub were great to warm up on chilly evenings, and the bed was super comfortable. If I had any questions Tom was quick to respond. Highly recommend and would love to come back in the summer too!
