Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Mendota

Great stay at this home. Extremely clean and had everything one could need. Peaceful backyard, and comfortable screened porch to relax in. Very relaxing home with lots of entertainment spaces - so would be ideal for a large group. Comfy bed, you could tell things were new. Liz is a fabulous host and answered my few questions promptly and checkin was extremely smooth. Tvs, WiFi worked like a charm. Would highly recommend if you are in the Fontana/Lake Geneva area. Don't hesitate to book!

this property was perfect for our family retreat! it had all sorts of spaces accommodative to both adults and kids - and our dog - from the spacious yard and numerous dining areas to a game room, fire put, movie theater and more. the neighborhood was peaceful and welcoming, and made for some lovely walks in the surrounding nature. lastly, the host was *extremely* responsive both in advance of and during our trip, answering all of our questions, and even arranged for maintenance to retrieve a frisbee that landed on the roof. just a heads up - the bathrooms didn't come stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so make sure to bring that yourself!

We loved Connie’s place. It certainly is a home away from home. Great location. Just a short drive from everything. The house is beautifully appointed and is very clean and well kept. We highly recommend staying at Connie’s place.

We had an amazing stay! The house was so peaceful and quiet, which made it the perfect getaway. The hot tub was a highlight—so relaxing after a long day. Coming from Chicago, it was such a treat for the kids to see the stars at night! The basement man cave/kids cove was a great addition, giving the kids their own space to play and relax. Being just a few minutes' walk from the lake was a huge plus—we really enjoyed walking by the water on the non-rainy days. Downtown Lake Geneva was also super convenient, only a 10-minute drive away. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the firepit due to the wet weather, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we’d highly recommend this rental!

House is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures! Was everything we needed for a friend trip away from the city. Only downsides were that we couldn't get the fireplace going (some additional instructions/tips for building fires in cast iron stoves might be handy) and the hot tub never got above 96, but it was pretty cold out so maybe we just needed to turn it up sooner. Would definitely stay again!

Our family of 4 , and 2 dogs, enjoyed a weekend at Joel's place in January. The location of the house is very peaceful. The pool & game room is a very short drive away, which our kids loved. There's a lot of trails and woods within the Galena Territory, which the dogs appreciated. As for the house itself, very clean and welcoming with everything you'll need. A 10 minute drive to downtown Galena, which we found to be quite charming with a lot of good places to snack & eat.

I cannot say enough positive things about Susan's place and Susan herself. Her location is a home away from home. I felt right at home the moment I walked in. Everything was neat, clean, organized and though there was everything you could want or need for your stay, the host would still check-in to be sure you had all you needed and all was good. The house is very pretty, inside and out. The neighborhood was quiet, and felt very safe. The host herself, Susan, is very caring and beyond hospitable, as well as easy and interesting to converse with. As it shows in the pictures, she does have two small dogs who are well behaved and adorable. I could not recommend this location enough, especially for the rate.

Garrett was a great host and really made it easy to check in and out of the Airbnb. He was great at communicating and making sure we weren’t missing anything from the place. The stay was nice and I highly recommend!

I was immediately impressed by how clean and fresh this unit felt inside. There was an exceedingly huge amount of activities provided. I loved the fun little games a-la my childhood in the 80s and 90s. Comfy beds and well appointed bathroom. Just perfect. We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely time at Bente’s Farm. The space was warm and cozy, and the animals were a real treat. Bente even showed us how to milk her cow Bethany and invited us to have as many eggs as we wanted. Bente was also a delight to be around. It was the perfect escape from the city.

Stayed for a night while visiting Roscoe for weekend family activities. Easy to find, great location next to south beloit park and a great price! Tracey was super nice and showed us around when we got there. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and very peaceful. Bill and other people on the propery were very friendly. Only short drive to Spring Green and about 30 minutes from The House on the Rock. Would recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Cozy & Convenient Stay in Lake Geneva Our family getaway to Lake Geneva was made even better by staying at Samantha’s Airbnb. It was cozy, comfortable, and perfectly located - just a 5-minute drive to great restaurants and an easy walk to Joni’s Diner, a must-visit retro spot. Samantha was incredibly responsive, providing clear check-in instructions and great local recommendations that we loved. If you're heading to Lake Geneva, highly recommend staying here!

We had a tremendous time at WithInnReach!! An incredibly nice home with thoughtful amenities throughout. Vincent was a great host - incredibly communicative and made us feel right at home. We would certainly stay here again and will be recommending it to others!

Had a blast at the cabin! Very peaceful. The place is so homey but not cluttered. Very well decorated and such a nice get away!

The cabin was so cozy and comfortable! The setting was just beautiful and private and the hot tub was a wonderful perk! It was just perfect for a restful and fun girl's weekend!

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this is the right place. It had just the right mix of modern conveniences with a hint of a rustic, outdoor escape experience. The outhouse was easy to use and nice and clean and warm, even on a cold January night. The cabin itself was super cozy and everything was clean and comfortable. I would recommend bringing books, as there are not that many TV channels, but there were some fun board games provided that we had a great time playing! Overall, a positive and enjoyable experience!

It was a great stay, and great price for the cabin! Lots of decorations around the cabin, and the trees make it feel very natur-y. Also it being right next to the highway makes driving around very simple!

We would definitely return to this peaceful cabin in the woods with peacocks to keep us company.

House was great, very clean and well appointed with plenty of towels, kitchen items, etc. Nice large table that seats 10+. Nice little touches like cereal boxes and pancake mix with syrup left for guests to use. Plenty of items (ping pong, shuffle board, board games) to keep a group entertained, even in the winter months! We would rent again!

Perfectly cute and quite place to spend a winter weekend. Lovely views of the river, nice amenities and cozy and comfortable for two people.
