To echo the sentiments of other reviews. This is an exceptional place to stay if you are looking for an immaculately presented, private, self-contained place. Communications were seamless and always helpful. I arrived late on a cold evening and the heater was on in the loungeroom. On another occasion Holly wrote to advise to watch out for high winds, fallen branches and snow on the roads. Such thoughtful touches were evident from start to finish. I was visiting my son in Gettysburg as well as doing a little sightseeing around the area. The location is perfect for exploring the area. Photos are a good reflection of what to expect.

I would commend this space to anyone. We have probably rented over 20 different places in the last few years and my wife and kids said that this one was their favorite. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Shawn and Michelle's guest house is a fantastic place to stay. The inside was spotless when we arrived, with plenty of seating room, a modern kitchen with every cooking utensil you may need, comfortable linens, and a well-stocked bathroom. Michelle had also spruced up the house with Christmas decorations, which was a very thoughtful touch. There are a few cute shops to check out in New Oxford, and it is very easy to get to Gettysburg, Harrisburg, and Frederick by car. Shaw and Michelle themselves were great hosts. They left clear instructions for check-in and check-out and were quick to respond to messages. Michelle even came by to drop off a small gift and wish us a Merry Christmas. All the above made for a great stay over the holiday.

Susan was amazing. She responded immediately with any concerns I had because I did not see the red door. She was understanding with me and my two pets in the middle of moving that day. Great place to unwind and very comfortable accommodations. Thank you so much Susan.
