“Best one yet,” to quote my husband. We LOVED calling this adorable and private accommodation of Rose’s our home away from home for the 12 days we spent in Chimney Rock. Everything that we needed and more was provided. Rose is delightful and made us feel so welcomed. The village of Chimney Rock, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge, is a treasure with restaurants and plenty of little shops that are walkable from this location. And the star of the show, Chimney Rock State Park, is directly behind Rose’s house, just a 3-mile jaunt up the mountain. Rose’s garden alone is a gem to behold, located right outside your door. We loved the privacy of the location, as well as the peace and quiet that was afforded to us after busy days hiking and exploring this magnificent region. We were thrilled to see a few other residents of this area from time to time, members of the black bear population. So if you are searching for an authentic experience when coming to Chimney Rock, this is the place!

This is a perfect spot when visiting the area. There is much to do in the surrounding areas, but having access to the Rumbling Bald resort is a great perk. Great place, great location, and great host! I know I will be back again!

Lirio Woods is just as described. Katie is very good at communicating and checking in to make sure your stay is perfect. This is an apartment in the owner’s basement. You will hear them walking around above at times but it is nicely appointed and nice that your entrance is on the opposite side of the house from the owners.

We had an incredible stay at this cozy and clean cabin! It provided everything we needed for a perfect weekend of support, productivity, and relaxation. The host, Irma, was exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to accommodate us, answering all of our questions promptly and thoughtfully. The cabin’s highlights included the cozy couch, warm fireplace, and soothing hot tub. The beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere reminded us of our dearly loved mother, who passed away in October 2023. Cardinals hold a special meaning to us, symbolizing her spirit, and their presence around the cabin made our time there deeply meaningful as we gathered, prayed, and found comfort and gratitude in transformation. In addition to the cabin itself, we experienced delicious food and met wonderful people. Lake Lure holds a special place in our hearts, and it was inspiring to see the community coming together after the destruction from Helene. It’s time for everyone to return ❤️
