“Best one yet,” to quote my husband. We LOVED calling this adorable and private accommodation of Rose’s our home away from home for the 12 days we spent in Chimney Rock. Everything that we needed and more was provided. Rose is delightful and made us feel so welcomed. The village of Chimney Rock, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge, is a treasure with restaurants and plenty of little shops that are walkable from this location. And the star of the show, Chimney Rock State Park, is directly behind Rose’s house, just a 3-mile jaunt up the mountain. Rose’s garden alone is a gem to behold, located right outside your door. We loved the privacy of the location, as well as the peace and quiet that was afforded to us after busy days hiking and exploring this magnificent region. We were thrilled to see a few other residents of this area from time to time, members of the black bear population. So if you are searching for an authentic experience when coming to Chimney Rock, this is the place!

First, I want to say that my thoughts are with all the people in the Lake Lure/Chimney Rock in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Stacy's place was absolutely perfect! She took into consideration every little detail and the house and surroundings were clean and tidy. The property was so quiet and peaceful. The main bedroom bed was SO comfortable. I read a lot of reviews saying the pressure in the shower wasn't very good, but I didn't have a single problem with it and I have long hair and felt like I didn't have an issue rinsing my hair. I absolutely recommend her place and will definitely stay here again in the future!

Our family had a great stay at Kevin's place! Kids loved it and we would love to come back in the future.
