Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Elsinore

We had a great snow weekend at our Big Bear getaway thanks to this lovely property. Check in was easy. Well stocked with essentials, lots of space, plenty of rooms for multiple families, the house also included games & pool table. The kids’ room had the best view of the lake, I was a little jealous😂. The host was very attentive when a moisture detector alarm went off, but there was nothing out of the ordinary that we observed. They sent a maintenance person over to check it out & resolve it in a matter of minutes. No issues whatsoever. Several feet of fresh snow had fallen so we had snow play in the backyard while ducks swam by. Did some sledding at a nearby lot we spied from across the lake. A dip in the jacuzzi at sunset amidst the snow and lake was a perfect and relaxing way to close out the fun. In the summer we’re thinking of returning so we can rent a boat and have our own private lake access! Can’t say enough great things!

Cabin was great, it was perfect for our family and friends. Lots of spaces for kids to run around. The view is spectacular. It was great to sit in the spa and look at the lake. Also, Kelli was a was one host and super friendly. She made sure we had a great stay. Will definitely book this home again!

love the place to have small gathering with friends. Definitely love the creek on the back, can't find anywhere else in Socal. We had a picnic on the creek eventhough I didn't expect a little bit windy, but that's ok, we had so much fun after the picnic, photo shoot on location.

Had a wonderful stay here for a bachelorette party. Even with 6 people there was plenty of space and the backyard was just beautiful. We felt completely secluded in the backyard and there were so many places to sit and enjoy the views. Completely worth the price.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderfully magical weekend at this charming lakeside house. During our stay, Big Bear received nearly 2 feet of snow in just two days, and we were completely comfortable enjoying the winter weather from the warmth of the house. Wissam was incredibly responsive and flexible from our initial inquiry before booking all the way through to after we checked out. The house is perfectly located along the lake, with a private dock and stunning views of the water from the kitchen windows. Every guest need has been thoughtfully considered and addressed. The bedrooms are large but cozy, the dining table is perfect for group dinners, and the bathrooms are stocked with all kinds of travel-sized toiletries in case you forget anything. The kitchen is spacious and inviting, ideal for cooking and baking, with all the utensils you need. The vintage Pac-Man game provided hours of competitive fun, and the oversized bean bag chair in the living room was surprisingly comfortable!

Leaving a review for this place is a complete catch 22. I want everyone to know it’s an ideal, peaceful place in Idyllwild to reset and enjoy nature from the comfort of a modern retreat, but I also want to be able to book it every year I can without having to compete with other guests :) Thank you for a wonderful stay David! Can’t wait to stay here again!

David was very responsible and helpful during our 3nights stay. The pool was huge and clean and it was ready to use. Also dining area inside and outside was well organized, lighting for the backyard is also amazing! I highly recommend booking this place for your vacation! I would re-rent this place again. Zabi was a great host, that gave me information before I even asked! very comprehensive. the place was great! had extra stuff like the stuff for smores that the kids loved. clean and cozy home!

This house is quite spacious and large. Great game room for the kids and a sparkling clean hot tub for the grownups. Multiple bathrooms make this house great for families.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay here! It was very cozy and peaceful. We really got to enjoy most of the amenities that come with it. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog as well! The jacuzzi was definitely a plus. If you’re looking for something cozy, quiet and peaceful for your next getaway I would definitely recommend this place! :)

Second time coming to big bear and so far haven’t gotten any bad experiences. For this specific occasion, my family and I had a great time with this rental. The cabin felt safe and comfortable, had such a great time and will be coming back again.

Great home and host. Was exactly as advertised, with lots of thoughtful touches and amenities. Our kids LOVED the ball pit (great reuse of a hot tub, btw) and the myriad games throughout the house. We'll definitely look to stay here again on our next visit to Lake Arrowhead.

Madeline's abode has the feeling of bygone years of a "romp to the lake" and easy living. She is so responsive to questions and need for directions. We enjoyed our stay. We would probably enjoy it in other seasons also besides the day of new snow and terrible fires elsewhere. We would recommend her establishment!

Everything about this place was perfect. Host is extremely responsive and helpful with all needs. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The yard is huge and private dock is a plus. Very quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend. We visit big bear often and would book again.

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was very clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed for our stay, including towels, blankets, kitchen supplies, etc. Brian was very kind and answered all of our questions. I would love to stay here again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay that started with excellent & responsive communication, even before booking. The house is nice, spacious and the decks/outside entertainment areas were expansive (and relaxing). It is located a quick 5 minute drive from the village and there is a grocer & cute little coffee shop within walking distance. The house has a lot of stairs, including to all bedrooms. It wasn’t a detractor for us but would definitely be hard for those with injuries, elderly, etc. otherwise, it was nicely appointed with most amenities you would need for a weekend stay- including plenty of paper products. There were usb/usb-c charging ports in every room that I appreciated. We couldn’t find the air mattresses, but the couch was comfy enough to sleep on. Overall, a great stay & great hosts!

My friends and I travel to Big Bear every year and this is by far the BEST AirBnB place that we have stayed at and wee been doing this for 12 years. . It's hard to please a large group of people and this place did not disappoint. Pictures do not do it justice. David was proactive and communication was great. There was nothing we were left without. Great location that was quiet and peaceful. The place was large for everyone to spread out or hang together. The master bedroom is insanely large and had a tub with jets. So many great details. We will most definitely be returning. Thanks David!!! Lots of great memories were made.

We celebrated my 60th birthday in this beautiful home it was beyond special would definitely recommend staying here. Deanna is an amazing person and host. Her customer service is outstanding. We will definitely be back with our family. Im also thinking a womens retreat to spend some personal time with The Lord and other women who understand and value how important it is for women to renew and refresh your mind and spirit in Christ Jesus. Our stay at Animal Crossing was absolutely wonderful! Natalie, Matt, and Seth were exceptional hosts with outstanding communication throughout our entire experience. The check-in process was seamless thanks to the keyless entry system. The home itself was immaculately clean with incredibly comfortable beds and high-quality linens that made for restful nights. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed for meal preparation. We particularly appreciated the home's privacy and elevated position, offering stunning views of the trees and lake in the distance. The location couldn't have been more convenient, with easy drives to both Blue Jay and the village. The hot tub was a nice treat. We truly felt welcome from the moment we arrived and are already looking forward to our return visit. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Great stay at Rita’s cabin! Rita was very communicative leading up to our stay. Cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed! Very quick drive to big bear mountain and close to grocery stores and restaurants. Enjoyed the views from the cabin and the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Rita and crew!
