Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Como

Not many people would opt to head to a frozen lake to simply... disengage, reset and reflect of the worlds events. I did just that and well, it was exactly what I needed. I can See myself going back in the summer time for sure. The pictures ?definitely are spot on... I can't vouch for the summer pics , but I believe they are accurate. I would recommend adding a winter pic or 2 for those of us that enjoy all that winter brings to us. Upon my arrival, everything was exactly as he said it would be. A wonderfully hand written note welcoming me < Spoke volumes to me. Had a lil breaker issue and I reached out and he was there within 15 minutes or less. Issue resolved and we chatted. He also left a typed note of some very important places. Stores, dining places etc with a pretty accurate description of what to expect, again, spot on!!! I give this host 5 stars across the board, from my booking to my arrival as well as the morning of my departure. Thank you for having me. Marlene

Noam was very communicative and friendly. His cabin was cozy and everything I wanted. He had disc golf on the property as well as a beautiful private lake. We will definitely be back next year and highly recommend this spot!

Great cabin by the lake! Its winter so werent able to use the amenities such as the firepit and outdoor space. Had kayaks but the lake was frozen. Would be a great place to relax for the warmer months. The cabin itself was very cozy. Me and my partner enjoyed it as we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago. Had everything we needed. Great hosts as well! Would come back again should the opportunity present itself.

Tim & Robin's place was wonderful! The cottage (#1) was exactly like the pictures and was very clean. Tim & Robin live on-site and we were greeted upon arrival. Through the weekend we had several passing conversations that were very pleasant. They had lots of solid recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. The property itself was simply dreamy! There was a nice beach area as well as an elevated deck overlooking the lake. We would definitely recommend renting here and plan on returning at some point in the future.

First of all, I would like to thank Shawn for letting us stay at his cabin and how pretty everything is! We loved the fact that it was clean and everything was put together in a way to make you feel like home! We had everything we need from towels, sheets etc…to smart TV and we we’re very close to the convenience stores, restaurants and if you are a coffee drinker, you have from the cabin 2 minutes walk, Amy’s coffee shop! I love the fact that we were very close to Twin Lakes where is the Wilmont Mountain ski resort and Lake Geneva, especially if you want to visit places or do winter activities! Thank you Shawn for everything and can’t wait for us to come back!

This place is truly a hidden gem, and I’m glad I came across it! From the onset hosts Tim & Robin were very responsive + friendly. The listing photos match the cabin truly was a lakeside escape that I needed, it met all my needs and then some! The only slightly downside I noticed was, and it’s a natural occurrence than can be treated was the sulfur smelling water - only mostly noticeable during the shower, maybe my sensitive nose. Everything else was a A+ rating! The deck was amazing and blew me away - I made it a mission to wake up at sunrise and have coffee on the dock that overlooks the lake. They have many open great spaces, seating, plenty of photo op moments, comfy bed. I actually was happy to meet and greet Tim + Robin - both were friendly and gave helpful area recommendations (Stade’s Farm!). They have created a nice lake escape and one I will make efforts to return in the future! Fall or summer this place has lots to offer, and very peaceful but also near attractions.

Absolutely wonderful. Perfect spot to relax. Fantastic bird watching and entertaining squirrels! Plenty of games and TV options. Rocking chairs in front of cozy fireplace were a nice touch. Hot tub was clean, easy to operate and working perfectly. Appreciated the Bathrobes, slippers, snacks, coffee, tea, firewood and all of the personal touches. Fireplace kept the place nice and warm, even in below zero weather. Love the Bathroom heater. Cool bedroom with fairy lights and sky light to see the stars and the moon. Got to see a beautiful sunrise out of the main windows. Would love to come back, especially in the fall. Really easy check out (thank you!!).

This is our second stay at Nadia’s beautiful cabin and we can’t wait to go back again! It is just perfectly laid out for our family of five and 2 dogs! The interior is just gorgeous and so well-appointed. And the yard and HOT TUB are fantastic! There’s literally everything you might need and then some. It is so private yet its’ proximity to Lake Geneva could not be better. A hundred thumbs up!

The cabin was gorgeous. Clean, comfortable & the perfect weekend away. It is right on the lake - and the hot tub is a great way to unwind a night. We loved the fireplace - and the s'mores they left for us to enjoy. Only 'critique" ... bring your own wine glasses if you want to crack open a bottle to enjoy.

This property was everything we expected and MORE. Truly could recommend more highly. The beds were so soft and comfy. The game room had great amenities. The main floor living / dining space was perfect for our group to catch up. Truly everything was PERFECT.

House was beautiful, had everything we needed to have a thanksgiving meal. Plates, dinner utensils, kitchen appliances and all daily necessities. Will most definitely return in the future.

Overall, really enjoyed our stay. Our place was suprisingly spatious & had everything we could’ve possibly needed.

This was a very simple place to stay which was all we needed, and was as described. It was in a very quiet area and, although the outdoor space is shared with a few other buildings, no one else was really out when we stayed so we had no noise issues. Only 10 minutes or less from Lake Geneva. James was very helpful and responsive with the couple questions/needs we had and was a very nice person. We got checked in quickly as he met us at the building when we arrived. I would recommend staying here!

The perfect weekend getaway spot where you can bring your pets!! Great location - short walk to the lake, water front restaurants nearby and quick car ride to downtown. Jim was very responsive. We will definitely be back :)

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place we could stay where we could leave our dog crates during the day. We got upgraded to a bigger cabin since they had space. It was perfect! Thank you for the stay!

The owner was a great host, left us directions about easy check in & all details of the house. Very beautiful home & comfortable stay I would highly recommend & stay again.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet away from anything other than a country road, a small working farm with a lone horse that roams a pasture, than this is your place. Spent a long weekend here while attending a concert at Alpine Valley. While a bit further away from the venue than some hotels, for the same price you get a private three bedroom farmhouse. Everything was clean and tidy. The small deck off the main living room was a great morning retreat. There is a note for FedEx that says the owner is onsite for any deliveries and while I noticed some fresh onions and other items that moved locations I didn’t see anybody at the house and it felt very private. Great stay. Would return again for future concerts at Alpine Valley.

we really enjoyed this place. it's very peaceful and beautiful. I did not have any issues with checking in or out, everything was clean and you feel right at home. We will definitely choose this place again. My family and friends were also very happy with the place.
