Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Champlain

We had a family vacation and enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is spacious and clean. The driveway is steep. We enjoyed the screened porches overlooking the lake.....beautiful sunsets. There is a small private and shallow water area between the dock and the boathouse. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area.

We so enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse! It is a beautiful property, so serene and a real place to escape from busy life! The view to Lake Champlain is amazing, with beautiful views of the mountains in the distance. Beach / water access couldn't be beat. The interior of the home is lovely and well decorated, very comfortable and stunning architecture. Even though this home is pretty remote, the internet proved to be strong. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, burning fires in the fire pit, and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Hosts were great and provided very detailed information about the home!

We had a wonderful time staying here at Lake Schroon for our girls' getaway weekend. The location is perfect and very peaceful. I loved walking down to the beach every morning to view the sunrise over the mountains. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing and even went into the water. We had a blast going out to a karaoke bar on our first night and then cooking in the second night with a fire pit complete with s'mores. There are restaurants within the area and fun shops too. Jack and Lorraine were friendly and very responsive and helpful too.

My family and I loved the house. There were tons of social areas for us to relax in and enjoy each others company. We loved the kitchen as we cooked lots of meals and were able to still socialize because of the open concept with the living room. The house was gorgeous. We intended to have a relaxed weekend and play some board games and that’s exactly what we were able to do. It’s hard to find somewhere that can accommodate so many of us (adults and children). The hot tub and sauna were also huge bonuses! We would definitely recommend it and we hope to come back!

Our family of five just spent Thanksgiving at the lake house. Its size and layout accommodated us well - having the second frig became necessary. It’s a lovely place and stunning views from almost every window. Would definitely come again. Thanks!

We really enjoyed out stay. It was a very quiet place, although there was another place quite close. Really enjoyed having a washer and dryer. Everything we needed was there, which made for a worry free visit. The view of the lake was extraordinary. If we ever come back to the area it is definitely where we would stay.

This place was amazing, very cute and cozy. Perfect spot for a nice winter weekend with friends. Andrew was a perfect host, really reactive and helpful. We would definitely come back!!

Brianna is a wonderful host, very friendly, always available and ready to help in anything we may need. The house is like a Dream House. Lovely living room with a fireplace, TV and a big and comfy sofa. Every room in the house was excellently decorated with a high test and good sense of space making you feel warm and welcome, like your own home. The surroundings are so beautiful that you even have a river running in the backyard. Like fairytale stories. The most amazing thing is the Kitchen fully equipped with seasonings, coffee, tea and beautiful crockery and pot sets. Everything you may need for a memorable vacation is here! We loved this place and definitely we're going to come back. Thank you very much Brianna, you're amazing!

We fell in love with this place! If you’re thinking about staying here- do it! You won’t regret it. This is the cutest little studio, right on a gorgeous lake. It feels so homey and had everything we needed for a cozy little weekend. Also, Lynne & John are the kindest, MOST gracious hosts. They made us breakfast one morning, left us banana bread & cookies & other snacks in our room, and they were just generally the sweetest people ever! They gave us tons of recommendations for fun things to do around town, too. The dock was so beautiful to sit and look at the lake in the mornings. We can’t say enough good things about this place & the hosts, and we really hope to come back again someday soon!💗

Beautiful location with spectacular views of Lake Champlain. The Best Nest offers peace and quiet in a private setting. Everything was just as described in the Airbnb posting.

Mitch has a lovely home with beautiful surroundings (Lake Champlain for kayaking and listening to the water lap on the shore, view of mountains across in the Adirondacks), local walks in the area are nice. Hiking not far away. We went into Burlington for a concert. Nice to realize that Mitch is related to a close friend of mine. A very peaceful spot,

Had a wonderful stay here! This was my second time staying at one of Angela’s airbnbs and I had great experiences both times. Had everything we needed, a well stocked kitchen with the essentials plus some snacks. Hope to come back soon for more Adirondack adventures with a perfectly cozy “home base”.

Our stay was perfect in every way. From the thoughtful treats left for our kids, to the heated bathroom floor, and in- unit laundry, everything was more than we expected. Being under the bookstore was lovely and we visited frequently. Sarah and Marc were incredibly accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back! :)

I’m so glad I booked with Doc! Doc was one of my all time best host so far on AirBNB! Very friendly, helpful and caring! I brought my cousin and his friend and he welcomed us all with open heart. A beautiful house in the perfect location! Sitting on the deck overlooking the water was the relaxing get-a-way we needed this fall. The house was very clean and we appreciated the booklet of recommendations and things to do in the area. Mary Beth and Doug were very responsive when we reached out. We highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Michaël's cottage. The view was spectacular and so peaceful. Our stay over the holidays was incredibly relaxing, calming, and allowed us to rest. The house is very secluded and feels private even if there are a lot of houses around the lake. It is close to Montreal and only 20 minutes away from Sutton. There are great small shops and bakeries within 5-10 minutes from there. The house was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. It was such a great experience to stay there, and have a wonderful fireplace. We will definitely come back again in the future!

We had a great stay at Suncroft. The place was clean, quiet, and cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

We were greeted by Lisa’s adorable golden retrievers and a beautiful view of the lake. The cottage is waterfront and not only has a large deck from which to enjoy the scenic surroundings but huge windows to enjoy the view from inside on the comfy living room furniture. The home is immaculate and spacious. The atmosphere and decor is one of peace and relaxation. Will definitely be returning!

A lovely private location with great amenities and things to do at the location. We went during the winter and still had a fire and used the hot tub. The cabin feels lived-in and has the cozy vibes you would expect. A very nice place for a long weekend or extended trip!

We just loved this place even in the winter. Wish I had brought the ice skates! Tonya was super helpful and very fast to respond. If we come back to this location, we will definitely hope to be able to stay here again. Shes definitely a super host!!

The cottage was a wonderful destination. Nestled right by Flower Lake, it provides a great view. Inside, its very cozy and every need you could have has been accounted for. Lindsay is also an excellent host.

This was a wonderful vacation cabin. The cabin feels light and airy, with a large great room/kitchen combination. The bedroom is in the loft, and it has a comfortable king size bed. I have mobility problems, so I stayed on the futon in the living room rather than trying to negotiate steps at night. The futon was okay — not particularly comfortable, but serviceable. Laurel and Dan were wonderful! They stopped by the cabin twice to make sure everything was okay, and they gave us excellent advice about local hiking areas, restaurants, etc. If you are looking for a reasonably-priced cabin in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, we highly recommend this little gem!
